Casa Roma Restaurant

This might be the best cooking for Mediterranean food I've ever eaten. Pizza, lasagna etc. I haven't tried it all yet but I will. I'm on a diet but when I break it, this is where I go.

Very nice for a small town restaurant. The souvlaki is really good.recommend.and well priced

Owner and his family are great people. Actually care about their customer's experience.

I wanted to like this place better. Nice people but very slow, especially for a Monday with only half of the tables filled. The food was just “good”.

A Greek restaurant I passed by by chance. It has a very family atmosphere inside. Many people order takeout. We seem to feel a warm feeling when we dine it?

Great service and food!

It was the only restaurant open in Claresholm on a Monday night. We enjoyed a great Greek-style pizza and a beer.

This pizza is so delicious! Even after it makes the car ride to Calgary. In the top 3 of my faves for sure. Yumm

Quick meal in town with the kids before hitting the range. Service was friendly and quick and the food was quite good.

Was just passing through and wanted a bite to eat. The food was excellent, the service was even better. Vegas was our server and was absolutely awesome. I would definitely recommend Casa Roma to anybody for a good meal.

Wonderful food and service. Vegas is hands down the best server at Casa Roma. Vegas is basically the reason I keep coming back. Besides the awesome food. Also the cheese is too good. It’s almost like the cheese pizza is from a different world. Only bad thing I can say about Casa Roma is the wheelchair accessibility but besides that there is everything right about it.

The food was incredible, best lasagna I've ever had. The gorgeous waitress was cheerful, kind, and the only server for the night. Wait times were less than expected. Very great. We will definitely be back.

Friendly warm & welcoming atmosphere. Excellent Greek platters & pizza. Clean & comfortable environment, plenty of parking out front, we stopped by through town towing our trailer and had plenty of room to park. The escargot was amazing & the chicken Greek platter was amazing- the chicken was wonderfully cooked perfectly. My husband tried the pizza and said it was the same high quality pizza as Spiros in Calgary. All the staff were highly attentive & the prices were amazing for the quality of the food we received. We will definitely be back!

We ordered the dinner special, veal cutlet with gravy, roast potatoes and veggies. (15.95)
also ordered starter greek salad (15.00)
we questioned the waitress about the amount of feta and kalamata olives in the salad, as we have dined other places where they were minimal and
she offered to tell the kitchen to double the usual amount.our starter salad arrived at the table less than 1 minute before our meals so i had to let my meal
grow cold to eat my salad first, and even with more added olives and cheese, it was still skimpy.garlic toast which accompanied salad was cut nice and thick, but hardly any butter on it.there were 3 matchstick carrots on the dinner special, with 2 tiny pieces of broccoli.roasted potatoes was about 1/2 a small potato, sliced.cutlet was crispy and tasted fine but thin, and gravy which was served on top of it was not very flavourful.
$60 bill and i left still hungry even though i ate everything.will we return? No.

It is a great family run restaurant with a good atmosphere and great food that isn't going to drain your checking account

Beyond Delicious. Driving through town. Had a hunch i could find a good steak around these parts. Boy was I right. Service was warm and steady. Place was packed on a Tuesday. Ordered the New York Neptune and highly recommend you do the same. Topped with Crab and this amazing sauce. Pizza was absolutely delicious. Im not a crust guy and i ate the crust. DONT FORGET THE GRAVY AND HOUSE MADE RANCH AND 1000 ISLAND

My mom and I had lunch here today. We had lasagna with garlic toast, baked with cheese. The restaurant was clean, not too busy. We were greeted immediately on entry, and shown to our table. The food was delicious, and reasonably priced. Most notably though, the waitress/hostess was so friendly, and attentive. My mom also commented on how awesome she was! Definitely worth the stop:)

My family and I had an amazing meal at the restaurant. Their specials are a must try! The Greek coffee and their SOUVLAKI were simply fantastic! Debbie was a true gem. Will surely visit again.

Driving between Calgary and Lethbridge a lot, I always took notice of Casa Roma as I passed through Claresholm and wondered if the pizza was as great as the reviews said. I ordered a pizza for the road as I was passing through town yesterday and I'll just say it's absolutely worth the hype. The made-in-house crust was amazing and the ingredients tasted fresh. Definitely going to be ordering a few more pizzas from this place on my drives.

A hidden gem without question! Lovely staff and owners, and the food was incredible and extremely reasonably priced! We Will be back without question.

Ordered the veal parmesan and the greek style lambchops with the spanakopita to start to go. Everything was delicious! Highly recommend and will definitely be back

Delicious food in a warm friendly environment. Reminded me of a restaurant I used to work at as a teenager in Ontario. Very friendly staff and service was amazing! I can't wait to go back!

Food was average at best. Frozen burger patties anf microwaved chicken cordon bleu which left is hard and chewy. Husband said the lasagna was good. Staff was very nice

Best pizza I had in a real long time! Would have been 5 star if they had the proper pepperoni on top of the pizza.bologna style pepperoni.yes I'm that fussy

Casa Roma is a great place for a meal. Fantastic service and great food. It's not too expensive either. The overall Italian Greek style is quite homely and has you right into their culture. I would highly recommend.

This family owned and operated Greek restaurant is fabulous. Calamari is delicious (according to my husband) and they are careful about food allergies. Wonderful and kind people. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Good customer service from staff. Owner seems to be cheap though, asked for extra ketchup and was refused until i had finished my first ketchup container. I spent over $100 on myself and was denied extra ketchup? Ridiculous.none the less the food is fairly good, homemade chicken cordon blue is very good.

Service was friendly and the drinks were cold (it was cola so it was supposed to be) the only issue i had was with my meal, the meatballs were poorly seasoned and tough to chew, the wait tines were on the longer side but this was at no fault of the people whom work there, and responsiveness was a tad slow but i can not complain nor criticize too harshly, i am not from here nor am i used to a small town style restaurant, for what it was it was great, but for what some may expect comming from larger communities it is quite slow

The food was good and hot. Our server was super friendly. Will definitely stop here again on my way through Claresholm!

The food, as always, was amazing. Going home warm, full, and happy like a child that just had a warm hug from his mother. The staff are always very courteous and accommodating. Waiting is always a drawback, but in this case only because you can smell the wonderful food being cooked. A great choice for any occasion.

We stop at Claresholm a number of times per year and often eat at Casa Roma.

First time I'd stopped for lunch here and wasn't too impressed. Had a burger and fries. The food wasn't anything to write home about. Came with a little container of catsup and asked for more and never did receive it. One waitress working over lunch. I think I'll stick with Roy's when driving through Claresholm next time.

We had a wonderful meal and a personal visit from the owner/chef who described the order and her salad dressings she makes from scratch. Lovely restaurant and we left full.

You want a taste of an authentic Greek and Italian food this is the place. Nice and friendly staff.
I enjoyed it. I wish they where in Calgary.

Their lasagna is DELICIOUS! Its my favorite to get. You can get it with 3 large meatballs or without.

Delicious LAMB souvlaki and AMAZINGLY mouth-watering tasty warm Baklava. I'd drive thru Hwy 2 just to stop here again for this dessert!

Everything here was great! This is a hidden gem. We had the pizza, and souvlaki. I would recommend stopping here.

We went here for pizza. Ordered and after an hour asked if someone could check on that. Clearly hadn't been made. Not particularly apologetic. The pizza was good. But service not so much. It wasn't like it was busy. Seemed like the left hand didn't know what the right hand was doing

Worst service we have experienced in a very long time. My husband ordered a beer and was brought a bottle. He had to ask for a glass. The server took our order but had to come back as she forgot to ask what side my husband wanted. He had the Chef's Veal in Wine Sauce. The so-called veal cutlets were prefab and salty. Little taste and texture was not that of real veal. I had the Beef Souvlaki with rice and Greek salad. This was to come with Pita and tzatziki. We were finished our meal before our "server" came back. It was another five minutes before she brought the tzatziki to me. Then we waited ten minutes to get our bill. Needless to say there was no tip left, and we will never be back at "Casa Roma".

What a disappointment! After reading the reviews and the restaurant being highly recommended, the food was awful. I ordered Veal cutlet. It came smothered with gravy which was not ordered and went downhill from there. When I order veal cutlet, I don't expect ground mystery meat. I'll pass on the rest of the meal. The service equaled the food.
I won't be back. This was a very inauspicious start to my vacation in my homeland. Maybe, I'll leave now. So sad.
