Castle Downs Arena

Great facility for hockey. Plenty of space in dressing rooms and on the benches. Ice holds up well throughout the games. Arena staff were very helpful and made sure everything worked smoothly. Lots of free parking space.

Nice, small little barn that definitely serves its purpose. Good ice too. Small change rooms but the showers get the job done.

Great arena facility with 2 rinks and right next door to a YMCA. Also has an Outdoor rink during the winter season.

Found the place quite cold in the stands, very dated and old. Functional but will soon need serious upgrades.

Great arena. Take your time driving in. A lot of people don't respect the direction of travel in the parking lot.

Clean and excellent as always. Normally my daughter is the one that goes here but shinny tonight was good. Dressing rooms were clean and the ice was in good shape.

2 well kept sheets of ice and an updated interior. They also have a nice concession stand with all kinds of snacks.

Great viewing, excellent food at the concession. The way it should be, not just healthy food but food I want.

My kids are frequently playing hockey here and the rink is awesome and I just love the arena. Dressing rooms arent tiny which is a bonus

Newly renovated two rink facility. It has a great little food stand that has a big snacking option. Slushies, Mini donuts, popcorn, etc.
There is more available seating in rink A then rink B. So if you are watching a game in rink B give yourselves plenty of time to get that prime spot or you could be standing.

Nice size dressing rooms and good ice. Just to bad the city of Edmonton poorly planed for the renovation. Should not have taken 3 years

Nice arena. Heated viewing areas. Concession stand. Big change rooms. Two rinks. There is a y.m. C.a. Next door.

This arena is easy to get to. There is plenty of parking and the waiting area is huge for the rinks. It would be nice though if the entrances were labeled so you know which doors to go in for which activity

Relatively easy to get to & lots of parking. Rink was warm for spectators & ice was great. Lobby area is LONG, but all-in-all a nice complex.

Great ice, benches are set up well with a lot of room for players and coaches. The dressing rooms are bright, clean and spacious.

So many people here during the free skates. Nice and big, but because there's so many people, the skating rink went dull super quick. We're not good skaters so there's a lot of crazy fast people on the rink and it's quite scary when they "cut you off" I guess lol

Love this rink since the renovation. Nice sized dressing rooms, decent benches, great ice, bright playing surface, comfortable temperatures!

Renos to the building were but a facelift. The ice was horrible, both teams were catching an edge and falling creating turnovers and breakaways.

Recently reopened after renovations. Very minimal cosmetic upgrades, it would have been nice if they upgraded the old spectator benches.
I will leave reviews of the ice and player amenities to those who use them frequently.

Decent ice, and (at least for my visit) enough parking, which is often an issue at City arenas. But the change rooms are what's really great about this arena; large, bright and they don't stink. The heat is set a little high, but I can live with that. Not a bad arena, though a little too far north for my liking.
