Ok I am a Sri Lankan / Asian who likes to try any Good Meat as a Western! This place is so good with awesome delicious meals and great qty of MEATS! It's situates on WEM Ground Floor Food Court. YUM YUM

Ordered beef with noodles. Excellent! Taste of noodles were out of this world.beef needs a little more taste or spice.but the combo with noodles makes up for it.

Tried this place for the first time. Why is there a grill out front? The food isn’t made in front of you. I ordered the mango chicken. It says it comes with bell pepper. No bell pepper in my bowl, just wilted cabbage with the rice. Food was brought from the back. I got sick a couple hours after eating it. Will never eat there again.

The food is great and great choices but beware if you are a younger person paying with cash. The guy behind the counter tried to rip my daughter off when she paid for her food. She was upset as she knew she didn't get the correct change. The worker knew what he did as he looked guilty as sin as he overheard our conversation. Giving coin change instead of bills. The lady behind the counter apologized and corrected the change we should have gotten back.

The drinks are pretty good, and the girls are so nice, pretty and welcoming but i noticed they look really exhausted and burnt out hopefully they get a good well rested break and get payed right:)

One of the best places in West Edmonton Mall to eat. Prices are affordable and the food is amazing. I’ve had the beef tepanyaki with black pepper sauce many times and it’s so good.

I’ve also had the chicken katsu with black pepper sauce and it was delicious. Chicken was juicy and the vegetables were awesome.

I also recommend the Bento boxes and the Milk tea with Tapioca.

Overall, 5 stars.

The tea here tasted fantastic! I really enjoyed the panlam tea I got and my sister enjoyed hers as well.

The actual food box I got was good as well, I found the noodles to be kind of disappointing/basic but the beef, sushi, tempura was all up to standard.

They gave a small amount of the typical dressings for sushi which I actually appreciated as it was easier to eat all of it.

Cashier was friendly and helpful as well which led to a good experience, our food was cooked fresh and delivered quickly and they gave me chopsticks without me asking which is nice because sometimes they assume you don't want them, the little touches really helped.

For what it's worth it was really good and a nice new experience for us

Don’t underestimate just because this place is in a food court! Amazing and generous with portion. Ordered a couple times the curry chicken katsu was sooo tasty and juicy I like getting extra curry on the side. Mango chicken was really tasty and there was a lot! These bowls are almost like two servings, great for leftovers. The iced teas are sooooo refreshing.

Dine in, take out or delivery; this place delivers quality food every time. Their portion sizes are generous and the value is amazing. The teas are delicious and the udon noodles satisfying. I have nothing but love for this place and its staff.

Had a completely surprising lunch yesterday at Catcher Teppanyaki! I wanted something fresh and healthy and mistakenly ordered something deep fried (totally my mistake). The cooks quickly helped me out by fixing MY mistake and I ended up with the best meal I ate all week! The food was fresh, delicious, perfectly cooked and a big portion! It was so far removed from any food court meal I've ever had that I had to write about it. If you're at WEM and want a high quality, delicious meal quickly, I highly recommend Catcher Teppanyaki.

Beautiful decor and probably one of the most eye-pleasing food establishments in the phase 1 food court. Aesthetically it makes most of the other places look like they haven’t renovated their since the 1990s.

Staff was friendly and service was fast.

I ordered the Terrayki chicken rice and was slightly disappointed. I feel like I can make something better at home (and I’m not a great cook either). Besides that I haven’t tried any else on the menu so I might give them a few more tries.

Overall, a good place to try out in phase 1 if you are up for some quick Japanese food in the mall.

First time eating here today and it was totally a 5/5! The people who work there are super friendly and all of the food was super fresh! I will definitely be coming back here again! I have not experienced this kind of quality in the WEM food court before!

Amazing milk tea and chicken katsu! You really get what you paid for! They have pretty big portions for $10

Work in the mall and go to this place regularly because it’s the best bang for your buck. Don’t waste your time on anything else in the food courts.

Delicious hot off the grill, had the chicken Katsu with black pepper sauce rice bowl, 5 piece gyoza, green onion cake and spring rolls. All of it very delicious. Great customer service. Decent price don't miss out!

Staff is always friendly and the food is great! I’ve tried most things off the menu, but the dragon eye rolls are my favourite.

Amazing! Chicken Katsu and Mango chicken were crispy, melt in your mouth, and the bubble tea was good quality (not powdered, and the boba was fresh)! Portions are big as well, you get your moneys worth! Don’t sleep on this place!

Meal was excellent. The pepper sauce is great, vegetables were fresh and the honey green tea is a perfect combo

Came back the next day for round 2

I came here for the first time earlier this week and everything about it was amazing! The staff is so sweet and friendly, the food was so good (better than edo and I went there religiously lol), and the atmosphere/decorations were a nice touch. I was adore the fact that they even had some actual plastic bento boxes to make it look and feel more authentic!

One of the staff members I encountered while going to the washroom, and I loved that he took the time to ask me how my meal was after. Such a sweetheart!

Honestly my new favourite place! I hope everyone who goes here, loves it as much as I did. Definitely will be back when I’m in the mall next.

I usually get their chicken teppanyaki with udon noodles and black pepper sauce! The black pepper sauce gives it the perfect flavour! It’s nice to have a hot meal in the mall with fresh ingredients made in front of you!

So good! The owners were so kind and helped me through their extensive menu. I tried their chicken katsu with curry and it was perfectly seasoned to my taste. They have such large portions as well! You should definitely try this place if you're at the Edmonton mall.
