We had a 75min couples massage today with hot stones. It was hands down the best massage of my life! Thank you to Stacy and Edna who were our massage therapists for making our appointment so special. It was a rare treat for us and I’m so glad we came. 11/10 cannot recommend more!

Be careful of there website. You will book an appointment, only for them to call you that's it not actually available. Better just call them.

My girlfriend and I had massages today my therapist was Edna and my gf had Stacy.both provided what we felt were incredible massages.maybe the best in our lifetime as they were simply that good.meanwhile the spa simply magnificent and the desk person couldn't have been more helpful. I definitely would recommend anyone wanting a relaxed spa day.

Just love this spa. It is cozy and very tranquil. I have had couple's massages and single massages with add-ons such as saunas and aromatherapy and it is all wonderful. I have had many massages in my lifetime and I must say that the ones I get at Cedar & Sage are by far some of the very best. Great massages, great atmosphere and great people:) It is so worth it when you are in Banff. They go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and have the best experience possible with a lot of little 'extra's' such as a great relaxing sitting area, lemon water and tea etc.that just make it all the more special. My partner and I will drive from Calgary just to go here! I wish I could give it more stars!

Went to Cedar & Sage for a facial just over a month ago and had a lovely experience. The staff were welcoming and the therapist had some helpful advice as well as catering the experience to my needs. I bought the serum she recommended and am seeing a noticeable difference in my skin for the first time in a while.

A small thing, but I also really appreciated that my multiple ear piercings were not pulled or pushed accidentally, no towels or anything got caught on them, etc during the procedure without me having to remember to mention it. I'm not sure if the therapist was deliberately careful or how they do things just makes them less likely to accidentally yank a cartilage stud when wiping the side of my face, but either way I was grateful!

Highly recommend! We booked the c&s special and followed it up with an hour of reiki and it was incredible! All the staff were so lovely and we felt very cared for, will go back for sure <3

This spa has beautiful energy and decor. The staff are pleasant, attentive and polite. The Lomi Lomi massage was restorative and relaxing.

I live in town and this is my favourite place to get a massage and use my benefits. Always a warm and welcoming atmosphere and top notch personal service.

Had a couples massage today, the whole room was extremely relaxing and peaceful. The masseuses (Natalie & Romana) were extremely helpful in identifying the stress areas and added pressure when needed. Now the massage part: it was like ocean waves rolling all over your body, it was surreal and calming. My wife had exactly same review. After the massage they welcome you to chill in their upper deck with a hot tea and calming music playing. This made our vacation complete. Thank you.

PS Please tip your masseuses well. They deserve it after making you feel great and jello.

Amazing massage but really disappointed by the foot scrub/acupressure treatment.
For $45, my feet were scrubbed for about 1 min, wiped down for 4 mins, and acupressure for 1 min. Complete waste of money.

Dear Manager of Cedar & Sage,

I called on Thursday to book a spa appointment at your facility. The lady I spoke to informed me Cedar & Sage did in fact have an infrared sauna and therma spa that guests were encouraged to relax in. I asked if the service was complimentary when booking a massage appointment, and she told me, "yes it is included". I proceeded with the booking for both myself and my friend. I should note, I had called numerous facilities around Banff and I selected your location, because there was a sauna and area to rest in after the massage. Other facilities had offered this as a complimentary service as well, but the lady I spoke with had assured me that I would "absolutely love the sauna, and have the best time here". Both myself and the friend I was bringing to Banff, were really looking forward to a girls day at the spa.

On Saturday, January 21st, we drove from Calgary to enjoy our day at the spa. We arrived at your business and were greeted hastily by the receptionist. She did not check if we had signed our waivers, or spa forms, but informed us that we could take off our boots, and take our belongings into the Spa room. I thought this was strange, since we would be enjoying the spa facilities after and I would maybe want a locker to put my belongings in. But I didn't question her, and we went into the rooms anyway, as I was looking forward to our first girls day away in nearly two years.

After the massages finished, I asked the front receptionist when we could go into the spa area. She told me that it was an additional charge and that it was all booked up. I explained to her that the lady on the phone sold me on this location and service with the spa included, and that it was the entire reason I had booked in the first place. The receptionist, in a very rude and abrupt way, told me "no, it was all booked up. She followed with "did you fill out your intake form? " I explained that we had not, and asked if on the form, it would have said anything about NOT being able to use the sauna and spa facilities. She did not answer me, but instead, and I quote her word for word here. "it was kind of their fault but also my fault". She told me it was my fault several times after.

It is not my job to check if your guests have filled out their intake forms.

That is a receptionist's job.

I called and booked a service that was sold as massage AND spa, and when that service was not fulfilled was told that it was "my fault".

The lady at the front desk was extremely rude, and not helpful at all. I honestly considered leaving without paying, because I was paying for a service that I did not receive. She offered no support in dealing with the matter and continuously informed me that it was "my fault". It was a very poor reflection on your business and left an awful impression. When I asked if there was a manager I could be in contact with, she gave me a trip advisor card, and only after I took it and looked at it, did she offer this direct email. Which meant her first response to my dissatisfaction was for me to write a trip advisor review.

As a small business owner, I would not have that woman work in customer service, ever. She was intimidating, accusatory, belittling and a bully.

I would recommend your business based on the massages we had, however, I can not in good faith trust that your administration team is aware of the services your business provides.or doesn't, nor do they have any kind of experience in guest satisfaction.

I paid for a service I was not provided and I would kindly like to request a full refund or at the very least, a thorough follow up that your staff receives adequate training; covering a basic knowledge of Cedar & Sage's services and basic customer service expectations.

I ask, what is it that you can do to make this right for two very disappointed customers of your business.

Absolutely amazing! Atmosphere is so relaxing, and Liliana was an absolute delight, she is SO amazing at what she does, and the sweetest. Left feeling like a million bucks. Highly recommend, will definitely be back!

Decided to book a massage for the day after skiing and it was well worth it. The spa gives off the cutest and coziest vibe. We waited in the upper lounge area (really loved this part!) and had some water before enjoying a super relaxing massage. Averee was so friendly and made me feel comfortable. She helped work out the kinks in my muscles while still making it relaxing. I will definitely be back!

The massage was good in theory - I just wasn’t a fan of the facility. The only bathroom is the public restroom outside of the spa, and it’s not the luxurious kind. I feel that for the price, the spa should have its own bathroom facilities and provide a robe to guests. This just took away the relaxation factor for me but may not be an issue for others.

If you are looking for an amazing relaxing experience, this is the place! The staff is really welcoming and friendly. I went for a massage with my girlfriend as we live in Calgary and came up for a quick get away. We both agreed that we would most definitely make the drive even just for a massage and go home. It’s so worth it!

I had a massage at Cedar and Sage recently and it was the best massage I’ve ever had! Gray did an amazing job, and the space itself was so beautiful and relaxing. I will definitely be returning and 10/10 recommend!

Hands down the best massage I’ve ever had. Gray worked out all my tight tight knots that had been bugging me for awhile now. I would highly recommend to anyone and look forward to returning!

Highly enjoyed a couples massage here - one being prenatal. Edna and Ashley were absolutely wonderful. My husband and I frequently indulge in massages when we are traveling and I can easily say this was one of the best massages we have ever had. The entire studio was gorgeous and service was great! I would highly recommend - if you are in the area, book here!

I was just in town for the Rockwall trail and came back to Banff and stumbled upon Cedar & Sage and had the best experience. I woke up to a sauna and massage after a hike and felt like a new man after the hike. I definitely recommend this spa. Treat yourself. It's totally worth it.

It was so relaxing and both Derek and i feel completely reset, relaxed and less tense Our moods are amazing and our body’s feel even better. Derek had Nicole and said she was also amazing! He was having neck and ankle problems and she pin pointed it and really worked it out for him. He was very happy as well! Highly recommend the hot stones. Beautiful zen waiting area where you can enjoy a cup of tea or water. The couples massage service room was cozy and had amazingly comfy massage beds. The massage therapists did an amazing job and we left feeling refreshed and relaxed. Will definitely book again next trip to Banff.

I went here for a couple’s massage. The room was gorgeous and tranquil. Aroma therapy was offered at no extra charge. The masseuses were phenomenal. My masseuse was able to sense when she needed to dig in or pull back without verbal cues. Both masseuses also did not shy away from working the entire glute. I was thoroughly impressed with our experience.

Came for a couples massage with my husband after a few days on the slopes. Very clean and well-designed - felt very relaxed as soon as we walked in. Our massage therapists were great. First took the time to ask us our preferences and then got started. We both had RMTs and the quality of massage was excellent. Loved that they also gave us separate invoices so we could make insurance claims. And the best part was that it was about half the price of getting it done at our hotel which was the original plan. A fantastic option if you are staying in/near Banff!

Had a coupon for 20 dollars to go and that was one big reason i went being a local with our locals as well! Then as i went to pay at the end she said she already charged my card and had not put the 20 dollar coupon in and acted as if was some kind of joke! Thats what got me there! I will never go back and wouldnt reccomend the sauna i could see people looking at me in the sauna while i was naked i was very creepy!

Absolute must do while you are in Banff. My husband and I did a couples massage, we had Natasha and Christy, and wow, they were phenomonal. I have had hundreds of massages and this is in my top 10 for sure! We both agreed it was an amazing experience, relaxing and theraputic at the same time. We are going back again tomorrow before we go home.

This is a wonderful massage experience that can’t be beat. The therapists are excellent and patient focused. Nicole was calm and focused on relaxation but also technical. The rooms are beautifully appointed and the atmosphere is very peaceful. The oils are pleasant, tables are comfortable and the friendliness of the staff especially Amy, the owner, make you feel comfortable and like you know them after one visit. While waiting, try the tea! It’s a delicious sage blend and is the perfect thing to begin the relaxation process. Highly recommend booking a visit here when in Banff.

I booked massages via email/phone for myself and three friends for a weekend trip. Communication was swift, professional, and much easier in comparison to other Banff spas. My friends and I were thrilled that they were able to accommodate all four of us at the same time. The spa itself is so cute, tons of natural light, plants, concrete, and wood. We were offered glasses of water on arrival and had a few minutes to sit in their lounge before being brought into the treatment rooms. The treatment rooms are dark, cozy, and the massage tables were SO comfortable, like little cocoons haha. The treatment itself was so good - all of my concerns were treated and the hot towels and weighted eye mask was such a nice touch. All of us agreed that we had some of the best massages of our lives, and left the spa blissed out and super relaxed. Thank you for such an amazing experience - shout out to Amber for literally the best massage I've ever had. I can't wait to come back here!

The worst massage I have ever had. It was very expensive and was not close to any spots that were comfortable.

My masseuse Marc was fantastic. Wanted a relaxing massage and that’s exactly what I got. Really nice staff and the facility is calm and inviting.

My wife and I booked a last minute couple massage with Cedar & Sage. Everything about this place deserves a 5 star. Everyone was extremely nice and welcoming, including the receptionist who was great at facilitating the reservation and accommodating our 5 min delay. The atmosphere is very calming and soothing and the rooms are very well designed.

As for the massage itself, I can easily say that this was the best massage I had so far in Canada. Definitely worth the money.

Christie and Edna were our massage therapists and they did an awesome job.

Great spa, really friendly staff, love the attention to detail, great background music, and loved all the aroma options. I'd return no question, but probably would for the shower/sauna add on next time, not worth the extra cost.

Absolutely amazing experience from the second I walked through the door. I arrived stressed and late after a nightmare drive from Edmonton but the lady at the front desk (I didn't catch her name but she had brown hair and a very pleasant manner) made me feel at home immediately, offering me water and a chance to catch my breath. I felt awful for showing up late but I didn't feel rushed at all, they were so accommodating. My massage therapist was Edna and she was absolutely wonderful, she got all the right spots and I left feeling like a new person. I'll definitely be back once things start to reopen!

I've been having issues with my back and hips for a while now from a couple injuries and body neglect over years of high impact sports. I came to see Marc for a massage and my expectations were surpassed! He tackles massage with a different approach over the standard practice, he intuitively works with your body to guide you in a relaxing and rejuvenating experience which finishes in overall balance of the mind and body. Friendly and professional, I look forward to another experience with Marc!

We had a great experience at the Cedar and Sage. Right as you enter their office everything was well focused on relaxation and healing. There is aromatherapy and herbal tea at the start of your appointment. The massage therapists (Veronica and Mark) were very good. Highly professional and continued the focus on relaxation and healing. Would definitely visit again.
