We registered our daughter to this daycare when we moved from South Calgary. A few things about this location are great teachers, effective management team and overall active reporting of our child during the day. Additionally, this location (which is a new building) has a nice overall feel.

What a great place for our daughter to begin her early learning experience in Calgary. CEFA has great and attentive teachers. The curriculum is wonderful and this is evidenced in the improvement in our daughter's speech and communication. We love it here at CEFA!

I have been tremendously happy with the staff and the management at CEFA. I had to take my son out of another renowned day care at Calgary and was quite apprehensive about his experience at another facility. CEFA has surpassed all expectations! My son is happy, we are happy and we highly recommend this facility to everyone. Thank you Julian, Monica, Maria and Jen

My kids joined CEFA Beacon Hill from another daycare/school called Fuelling Brains, formerly KidsU McKnight.
The last day at Fuelling Brains, my eldest started to cry. She was scared of joining a new daycare. I assured her that she was going to a wonderful place where she'll be able to learn new things. We dived deep into Youtube and watched all the CEFA videos. At the end of seeing the journey she was about to embark she smiled. That night she had a restful sleep.
When we walked in, we were welcomed by Monica who smiled and helped my daughters get settled in. They had an entire section for themselves, everything was made exactly the right size for each age.
Of course this wasn't the first time seeing CEFA, Julian had shown us the school at least twice! As a CEFA graduate himself he answered all the questions we had and so much more.
Today I spoke with Christian, he's always there with a big smile to welcome the kids and speak with the parents. He's become a happy source of familiarity for the kids and the parents alike.
At CEFA my kids are joyful, so happy, they come home with their artwork and stories. But for me it's so much more than that.
1. CEFA is safe. There's a fence-like structure of cement posts that encircle the school, protecting the building. They have to let you in, the doors are never "just" open. There's two doors, and they both won't open at the same time.
2. The Food IS AMAZING. My eldest has a gluten intolerance. Having a in-house chef that makes specific meals for my kid's dietary restrictions changes everything. He even consulted with us if a specific gluten free cereal was appropriate for my kids.
3. They are learning so much! It fills my heart with joy to see that both my daughters are learning the alphabet, the youngest is discovering shapes, the eldest is tracing her letters and exploring words that start with a specific letter of the alphabet.
4. The Teachers. The teachers are joyful, happy, loving and they truly care for the well-being of the little ones. They really get to know each kid and care for each one.
5. The professionalism. This is not a daycare, it's a private school, and you can tell the difference.
6. The Joy. Every day when I pick up my kids I hear: "Mom, Today I learned about a dinos-aur called tri-cera-pops. " They made friends the first week and each day they explore the particularities of what it means to be a good friend.
7. Discovery. CEFA is all about discovery. The kids get to play with snow, items, paint, you name it!
How do I know all this? Because they actually use the app to show the parents the individualized stories for each kid. Whenever I need a break from work I open up the app and see what my kid has had for lunch (exactly), when was the last diaper change, and what they studied today.
I was so frustrated with that other school/daycare. My kids where constantly sick, sad, and just exhausted, every day after pick up.
When I asked my eldest what's the biggest difference she mentioned that at the other school kids would just scream all the time. That at CEFA her friends are quieter, more engaged, and friendlier.
So give Julian, Monica, or Christian a call. This school is the best.

Left many voice messages to Julian looking for a spot and a tour. They never return my calls. If you are not responsive at this stage, what can u expect when your child is in their facility….
