Big rip off!

Great food and good service, but pretty run of the mill atmosphere. It's an Irish pub, you've been here. Worth it for the food though, better than average and good selection.

Becoming a place we end up quite a bit. Good place to hang with the guys and watch the game or just chill. Really good service at this location.

I visited Ceilis on a Friday night with my family, a party of 5. I had not been to this location before.

They were somewhat busy, but we had quick service from a cheerful waitress named Shoni.

The menu was decent. I had hoped for a few more Irish dishes, as it seemed to be quite a cookie cutter pub menu. Still, we ordered a variety that included mini Yorkies, calimari, chicken pot pie, fish tacos, burgers and Philly cheese steak.

We also tried some Scottish ale, scotch whisky and craft beer.

Everyone enjoyed the food! The fries and chicken pot pie were quite salty, but tasty. Everything else hit the spot, no issues. It came out in a reasonable time, although the pot pie came out a few minutes later than the rest of our entrees.

Our waitress was helpful in deciding what to eat, was attentive and generally just very pleasant.

I used the mens bathroom and noticed it had an access panel under the urinals that seemed to be loose and had duct tape on it. I noted that as less than ideal visually, but otherwise the bathroom was clean.

I had hoped for a few special single malt Scotch whiskys, but from what I could see and the waitresses memory, blended scotch was the majority at the bar. I love smoky Islay Scotch, but we settled on a blend instead.

As per usual in 2022, food seemed about 10-15% more expensive than I thought fair.

Overall Ceilis was a nice place for our dinner that night. A few improvements to the menu and bar selection and bathroom may have yielded a 5 star review. We had a good time, and most likely will be back again.

Brittany, Ty, Chelsea, Vivi and Jason were fantastic. Awesome service, great suggestions, FANTASTIC BURGERS AND TATER TOTS! Beware, they will keep you there longer than you initially intended!

Super friendly staff and great recommendations.

Came in for supper the other night after a day at stampede. Had a delicious meal in a nearly empty restaurant. Drink service was stellar and speedy. Service was excellent as well.

They do have a lot of drinks that aren't on the drink menu. If you want something you don't see, just ask!

Wasnt too busy so we got a table and didnt wait long for the food. Server was extremely friendly. Highly recommend their chicken pot pie!

Their prices have really skyrocketed in the last 3 years. I ordered a cob salad with a bit of chicken breast on it, it was nearly $30!?

Great food, great service and great establishment! And the beer wasn't too bad either! Watch the game on one of many big screens.

Local favorite of mine for sure. Good food and beer selection. Mike the owner is also a legend!

Great decor. Had lunch there the other day ordered the chicken pot pie.delicious. Innis and Gunn on tap too which is awesome.

The Staff were very friendly and professional and the service food and atmosphere was excellent.

Service was good, food was good. We had some wings, beers and some sandwiches. Overall a positive experience. Carter was a fantastic server, food came out quick and tasty.

I love it here. The staff are fun, the food is crazy good, even my kid loves coming here for lunch. Worth stopping in for the prime rib sliders alone.

Usually I like to go there. Nice staff, cold beer and good food. Last time the calamari was disappointed.

I was pleasantly surprised with how good the food was. I had the reuben sandwich with yam fries and my buddy had the steak sandwich, both were done perfectly and generous portions. We were there at lunch and our waitress was very professional and friendly.

Went here for wings on Wednesday with my partner. It was a great time and the wings are terrific.
Wonderful staff and a great atmosphere. Lovey to return to a night out.

Great service and quality pub food! Beers aren't really budget friendly, yet it's always nice when we visit! Extra care and spacing for covid, which is always appreciated!

Came here on April 8th for dinner, it was very busy as it was the last chance to enjoy a night at a pub before they were being closed to covid yet again. It was our first time here and we really enjoyed it, the Yorkies were super tasty and my burger came with a Caesar salad that was better than the keg's Caesar salad. They have an awesome selection of beers on tap, and the owner came to our table and said hello! He offered my girlfriend a sample of kronenbourg 1665 beer to try to see if she liked it first. And she got a pint after trying it They sanitized our table before we were seated and the staff were able to accomodate all the people waiting to be seated swiftly and courteously. They also had lots of tvs with baseball, hockey and curling to watch. Great neighbourhood pub with nice decor. We will be back to try the flatbreads for sure!

Amazing service. Waitress was super nice and helpful. Best beef dip I’ve ever had in my life. Very very worth the prices.

Visited here for lunch and had their lunch special which was steak and fries with juice. The steak was done well and enjoyed every last bite. The sweet potatoe fries or yam fries was good great with the sauce. The atmosphere was great as it was good being out the first day they released us from our home.thanks team for good meal and service.

I called to make an order for takeout and the lady who answered the phone was being very cold the way she was talking, I was making an order then she interrupted me and said “ well can I get a name first? “ didn’t say please nothing.then I hung up the phone.

Fresh, tasty food! Always good service. We order through Skip the Dishes frequently. When we had a problem one time we ordered, the manager sorted it out quickly and efficiently.

Had a great lunch today. Greeted by Caity and got our drinks right away. Great server she engaging and convos were fun. Food was amazing came out in a timely manner. Will be eager to return for a great experience again.

Has become our neighborhood pub. The staff are friendly, food is good, and they have a variety on tap. Like that they have sports playing, especially baseball. Really digging this place.

I really like coming here but the bartender should not be having his mask hanging from one ear. This person is pouring drinks while talking away with others sitting at the bar. Serious issue

This place is clean and well kept. Really nice environment to be in. However they definitely do NOT have good prices. Even specials are higher prices than most establishments out there.

Finest spot to eat some food when in a hurry. The customer service is prompt, rates are reasonable, great atmosphere. Will come visit again

Could die of thirst in a pub. Order two cocktails, appy, and 2 dinners. Was never checked on once, even tried waving the lady down, she failed to check if we needed anything else and we both needed more pints but decided to pay and go home. Lasagna noodles terribly dry lacking meat and little to no sauce.

Always the best appies. Calamari, ribs, wings always top notch. Decent selection of beers on tap. Friendly service.

We sat at the bar and it took the bartender way too long to come ask us for our order just for a couple of drinks. Never checked in with us as well took forever to get our bill and pay.

Just as amazing as all of their other locations. I miss nights on the roof top of the old downtown venue On 8th avenue

I go here a decent amount and I can say I have never had a bad experience. The Mac and cheese sticks are fantastic and they are worth getting every time. The Guinness brownie is amazing and if calories were no object I would get it every time. The owners are always nice and the managers and the rest of the staff are always kind and there if anything is ever needed. The atmosphere is great and has a bunch of interesting signs and very cool chandeliers. The prices are very reasonable and while I do wish that the portions were slightly larger, the food is still great. I’d definitely recommend Ceili’s for a good lunch or dinner.

First of all, our server was terrific - she gave us great suggestions for food, and her advice was spot on! The Thai chicken flatbread was so good. Fish tacos my wife had full of flavor, and the Blackened chicken Caesar made to perfection!

We will return and enjoy this place again!

Great Irish pub! Reminded me of Central Dublin with the decor. Staff were friendly, food tasted good, beers were fresh.

We really enjoy coming here! The place is clean, upbeat and they work hard to please everybody. The food is great and there are lots of TV's with sports so you always have a good table.

Went for happy hour, friend and myself ordered what was on happy hour, including wells highballs. When we got the bill, the wells highballs weren't priced as they were written on happy hour. Paid but asked the server why it was not the same price and server said that it's not on happy hour. If it's not on happy hour or for whatever reason prices change, then take it off the menu or change it right away to avoid confusion and unhappy customers! Wanted some of the change back as the server was giving a bit of attitude and tossed me a loonie and said here ya go, walked away scoffing. We understand that when we go out to eat or drink, we tip, but if there's an issue that arises, if the server handles it nicely and well, we'll tip and if not then we won't.

Poor service. Staff watched a group of us come in and ignored us for a long time until we had to go to the bar to order. Food was substandard. Way better pubs to go spend money at. Awful

Chicken pot pie was amazing and the side salad is very tasty and I am not a salad person. Nice beer selection, especially the options from Ireland. I will eat here again.

Very friendly staff! Good atmosphere. Good food. Craft beer selection was a little underwhelming and there is nothing unique that differentiates it from all the other Irish pubs in town but definitely a quality place.

Food is very good & always consistent. A lot of the dishes are based on similar dishes you would get in Ireland or the UK, like their chicken pot pie, Shepard's pie and fish & chips (these dishes are really good).

Besides the food this bar does have many TV screens up with the latest "big game" playing.

The service is good. Servers are pleasant. The odd time you will see the owner, and if he is in you will probably get him dropping by to make sure everything is good. He seems very sincere about making sure you are happy with everything.

4 stars is the highest rating I give to bars and popular big name restaurants. I never rate fast food restaurants. 5 stars are reserved for high end restaurants that truly give 5 star food (prepared by a chef) and service.

If you are in the area give Ceili's a try.

Great place, excellent staff, and food is awesome, add a few more dishes to menu, a curry would be good, just plain old curry with a rice.

Sunday brunch was overpriced and the pint I got was stale as hell. Service was not mind blowing. Not the worst place ever but certainly does not top the list

We dined here for lunch with our Novice hockey team. A group of maybe 40 people. We did not make a reservation as we did not know our game schedule for the tournament we were participating in. So I do understand that we would have caught them off guard, and would expect delayed service. That said, one of our parents literally walked around with a pen and paper taking food and drink orders for our team, not just initially but for the duration of our lunch. We also had several other parents finding cutlery and cleaning up finished drinks and plates. We were basically left on our own so the pub staff could serve the other tables in the pub. Now when the bills came each bill was automatically charged a tip. Correct me if im wrong but why would we tip when we literally served and cleaned up after ourselves? I understand kitchen staff would have been deserving of their share of a tip, but certainly not anyone else. The tip should have been left as a customer choice. Also we were given attitude about showing up without a reservation (by a lady I presume was the manager?). I would like to think any business who has 40 paying customers walk in the door would be appreciative of filling the seats in the establishment. We will not be back.

Great place to hang out. Clean and spacious. Not overly crowded, good service. Food is tasty. A little pricey for the amount you pay for.

Great experience. The restaurant was extremely busy but our server was extremely attentive and the food came quickly. We enjoyed everything we ordered. We will definitely be back.

Great place! Waiter took good care of us. Food was hot n delicious. Drinks as needed, just overall fun pub! Owner stopped by to check we were having good experience! Go and enjoy.

Nice atmosphere and service was decent. My issue was with food quality. I had fish tacos and found them to be old and stale. The fish seemed like it was microwaved and the taco shell tasted like it was weeks old! Overall they were just dry, and tasteless. My date had fish and chips which was also underwhelming. Not sure of I would return to this establishment. I just don't feel there is any value for what you're paying for.

Wings are always amazing, rest of the food is really good. Service was pretty slow but there was a game on and it was packed, so I think it was reasonable to expect delayed service.

Fantastic service from specifically from Kate on this day. Good food, $1 off Irish beer, warm and relaxing inside. A nice gent checked on us and seemed to be a manager but was helping with service as well. Seems a good team.
BTW, the Guinness was perfect!

Nice place, very good food, maybe a bit limited wine selection but at half price per bottle on Thursday nights you can find something to your liking. We ordered flat breads and all three types were good. The burger was delicious and the big bowl of yam was a nice side. Great service. Would go back.

A great neighborhood family restaurant/pub. It's our "go-to" place on busy nights like this. I recommend that you have a look.

Food is good, reasonable prices. Service has always been great. Typical pub food. Nachos are good, mini yorkies are good. Everything I've had has been really good thus far.

Went in today at 1115am and there was no one working, but employees were yelling in the back room. We waited five minutes and left, after no one came out of the back room.

Got seated at a table right at the door. Very drafty and coldcold. Asked to move to another table and was much better. Service was good. Food was ok. A little too much charcoal for my taste. It seemed liked they burnt everything but I think it was just me.
