The Cure is amazing! I was full for 2 days. The atmosphere is good but the noise is brutal. We sat at a table for 6 but couldn't really visit due to all the noise. They had a game on plus music at the same time. We couldn't wait to leave just so we could hear each other again.

I've been coming to Central for a little while now, always good food and good staff! Because of how amazing Courtney D was today, I'm writing this review and will sit in her section next time we stop by.

We had a delicious meal, once again, at the St Albert location. Courtney, our server, was fantastic! Just the right amount of attention, knowledgeable about all the dishes and drinks, and even a few of her own specials. Thank you! Steak and potato bites, brussels sprouts, and maple chicken wings were very tasty. All the staff were friendly and professional. Bathrooms were clean, and tables were cleared and cleaned promptly when folks were finished and left. We left wondering why we don't come here more often.

Our group was able to use the private room at Central Social Hall St Albert. This was a good choice as we were able to circulate and chat. The service was very good and we were glad to take advantage of Happy Hour!

I heard that this place was special from my friend Emma Landry, and she was right It was a great, we went there for our family birthday super and it was a great time! The staff was super friendly and the food was spectacular.

The food here is some of the best we've had after eating in St. Albert for the past week. Also, when we mentioned being evacuees from the NWT we were given a complimetary dessert. So kind!

I was first introduced to Central Social (St. Albert) a few years ago when a company I was dealing with asked me to join them for lunch here. They made a point of telling me that this was their place of choice for entertaining clients.
Since that day I have returned countless times, entertaining our own clients at lunch meetings, and as favorite place to go with friends and family.
I am a bit of a foody and never have trouble finding things to satisfy my broad range of tastes. The menu changes, or at least some of the items change on a reasonable schedule so there is usually something new and interesting to try. Sadly, this on occasion means something I really took a liking to disappears but is invariably replaced with something awesome.
The atmosphere for lunch, afternoon escapes and evening is wonderful, a surprising number of medium and large groups, both company gathering and personal gather there what seems like daily and they add a fun energy.
The service right from the minute you walk in the door to when you leave has always been extremely friendly, sincere, and efficient. I have never had to wait either too long, feeling neglected or overwhelmed with attention.
Keep up the great work SCH, I will be back in a day or two to relax on the patio or maybe, try that famous brunch I have heard so much about and have yet to take in.

I have always had nothing but a good experience when I come to central! All of the staff, from the hostess to the managers, always have great customer service and make the experience enjoyable. The food is always the amazing, particularly the honey crunch chickens sandwich, and the drinks are delicious. Would always recommend to anyone in the St. Albert area.

The Manager and waitress were fantastic. Was on a blind date and they were very respectful and caring.

Neat place! Great service stopped by on my way up North. Love the patio will be sitting there next time. I like how they had they have individual rooms for bathrooms provides maximum privacy. Though I’m not a fan of touching the door handle afterwards that’s just me tho

Service slow this time. Not enough staff to cover number of customers. Washrooms subpar. Quality of food subpar and a little overpriced for amount of food. Quality overall has diminished over the last few months. Am a regular customer and tip above average.

Central Social Hall is by far my favourite restaurant in Edmonton! I love the vibe and atmosphere, the staff are very professional and welcoming, and the food is AMAZING! My fave meal on the planet is the Ronald burger and fries. I frequent this restaurant as a guest and also host a majority of my personal and corporate events here (birthday parties, Christmas parties, fundraisers) because I know our group will be in the best hands. Shoutout to the incredible leadership and management team, particularly Jesse and Vance, for always taking such great care of us when we're at Central!

Had dinner here and I ordered the pasta. It wasn't made correctly and our server corrected the mistake and brought me a new meal. The customer service here was wonderful and so was the food when I re ordered.

Went for dinner tonight. Was there at 6: 20 and approx 60-70% of the tables were empty but were told they were ALL reserved for 7PM. Hard time believing all the people were coming at 7 and most restaurants keep a couple tables open for Walk ins. Been going here for years…. No more.

Been to Central Social hall many times over the years, the food has always been delicous but just wanted to give a big shout out to Chef Nate for creating the "Great Nate" burger that's currently on their limited time menu. This burger deserves a permanent spot 100% I need more of it!

Wish I remembered the bartenders names would give a huge shout out. The guys made us lots of real good and different shots which were amazing only had some wings but they were delicious and just cooked how they should be. Atmosphere was friendly place was clean and they have private bathrooms which were actually clean too! Great place Great staff Great food and service and prices are pretty decent.it is a nice place.

It was an alright night. We started off with some craft beers.

Mine Boogaloo was served in a luke warm glass and feeling not like a cold one. But whatever. Maybe first pour of the night.

Got Our drinks. Thinking maybe are you ready to order. But no. Just drinks dropped off and another two passes before asking our order. Seemed a bit long.no problem.
Ordered up some Perogies and sausage and a Hot cheddar bacon spinach dip.

Say the same for Perogies. I asked our waitress if anyone complains about the temperature of the Perogies she said “no oo I’m sorry. Let me check with the kitchen”. I thought she would come back with some sort of feedback as i wasn’t asking for anything to be done just a test on customer service when we all know we pay alot for things these days. So without any feedback i am sorry Brooke P. Maybe it was she was to scared to ask manager or anything about this. But i am sure any management would have come over to make it right some how. So with that fail in my eyes. I did not give a great tip. Sorry. I would gladly retip if there is feedback on this. But let’s see managements comments

Always great service, constantly improving the menu and really good atmosphere. Food was amazing and good drink specials daily. 2 big patios too. 6 stars!

My elderly mother and I are staying across the street at the best western. We walked over at 5: 20 for supper and a couple drinks for the evening. The patio was empty and the pub was half full. The hostess informed us that she can only seat us for a limited time due to upcoming reservations in an hour. Disappointed we walked across the parking lot to Boston pizza where we were seated immediately and welcomed with open arms. Why advertise at the hotel if you are just going to turn people away?

Very busy during the playoffs, so service was a bit slow. But the staff and service were still fantastic- we made a reservation for the following week in case there was another game scheduled, and when the oilers won and ended the series the host came to our table to ask if we still needed the reservation. We're very appreciative that she kept us in mind and came to us on her own to double check. The menu is a bit limited and pricy.

I’ll preface by saying normally I get SkipTheDishes, I enjoy the perogies, the ballpark pretzel and the steak. We went out for a family dinner; there was about 20 of us and I got the spinach and bacon dip. First time having it. The bacon was not cooked prior to putting it in the oven so it was chewy. It’s a different texture. You also only get about 1/4 inch thick of dip to share Haha so it was gone real quick. The steak was good though.

Food menu and prep exceeds disappointment. Lofty prices and descriptions lead you to believe this might be ok - but alas - its a scheme to maximize profit out of each meager plate. The advertised meal - chicken breast - could have fit in the palm of my hand - was buried in a pasta bitdsnest. Ive made better via Hellofresh

I skipped town and was more satisfied by real local pub nearby for half the price and twice the personality.

Went to watch the game and was super impressed! The wings were amazing and our server Brittney was totally dialed-in…. I never once held an empty pint glass and it was busy for the game! Great job guys!

Disappointing first visit on Mar 31. We were seated by the staff, after 20 minutes we did not get approached even once to let us know there would be a delay or anything so we walked out and went somewhere that wanted our business.

We love to eat here any time we're near St. Albert and this time didn't disappoint. The staff are super friendly, the food is always incredible and the atmosphere is great! We will be back!

It's been a long time since I've had a bad meal. It's been an even longer time since I've had such a meal that justifies acknowledgement. I'm not even mad, an abysmal condition needs to be corrected and I'm the person it chose.

Tonight I ordered the Shrimp Gyoza and the Honey fried Chicken Sandwich with a Poutine substitution for fries. My starter was the only enjoyable part of my meal. The Chicken Sandwich was soggy and for some reason salty, but that paled in comparison to the "Poutine" I had which might as well have been pulled out of a salt mine. Regrettably, that's not all, I was left to wonder which curdled the gravy; was it time left out, or was it the excessive salt?

I hope this was an isolated experience for tonight, perhaps an exhausted and busy team in the kitchen. I should note the staff were friendly and timely with my takeout order.

I can’t say enough good things about Central Social Hall! We didn’t know what to do after my daughters baptism (planned pre Covid restrictions being lifted) and they let us book the party room! We had brunch and they allowed us to bring in a cake for dessert. The waitress was super attentive, helpful and fast. Our food came out hot and yummy. They even let us come in early to decorate the day of and make it personal. We also had little kids and they were super accommodating. Thanks!

Great food! Service was good despite being a busy night. Parking can get a bit tough here as the parking lot is a bit tiny.

My wife and i have been going to central for years now and we had to write this review after our last visit. Our server Jackie made our date night so wonderful! For starters she was the first server to tell us her name when greeting, and was attentive and professional at her job! Her happiness just gave off good vibes. She made it our best experience yet at central, and will be sitting in her section anytime we come in!

Had a order to go. Long story short one item in the order was not correct. Called let them know, came back to pick it up. The manager came out personally with the correct item missing, plus 2 other food items and an 6 pack assortment of beer. He apologized and thanked me for coming back. They went above and beyond and truly care about your business, I would highly recommend Central the food is always consistently good!

I came to your establishment for the first time and had the most wonderful server Jackie, she was so attentive and her recommendations were amazing. I have never been to a restaurant with such amazing staff, food and drink. By far Jackie was and has been the best server I have ever had! Please thank her again for me. She made my week:)

It has been awhile since we have been to a restaurant, but this was great, rep in place which makes you feel comfortable and food that tasted amazing.

My girlfriend and I visited this restaurant for brunch on a Saturday during “peak hours. ” It was a great visit. Both of our food came out awesome, we each had a couple of the non alcoholic drinks which were outstanding. I’m embarrassed to say that I don’t remember our servers name, but she was great as well, very genuine and attentive.

There was two of us, we went for dinner on a Friday at about 7. Our server forgot one of our entrees so we had to wait about 30 minutes until the second came out. The meal that we did have, we were unable to eat because we didn't have cutlery. We sat for over 30 minutes until the server returned with our second entree (we were then able to ask for cutlery) and to take our order for a second round of drinks, at this point we had been there for over an hour - served one round of drinks and 1 entree. The "manager" walked past us numerous times and didn't seem to notice an uneaten plate and empty drinks. Before manager #1 left for the night, he said that our food would be comped plus a drink each. Manager #2 approached us later on in the evening and seemed to be quite confrontational (body language, tone), informed us that only one meal would be comped and whatever the other manager promised us wasn't his issue. We honestly didn't feel safe around manager #2 - it seemed like he wanted to fight and that the buttons on his shirt were about to burst.

We apologize for our meals not being served at the same time, won't make that same mistake ever again - we'll just eat one plate and then wait for the next. It was also our fault that we couldn't find cutlery. - we should have looked harder. It was also our fault that the manager made promises that he couldn't keep - mighty neighbourly bunch of people.

We were there all night and had a large tab by the end of it and the fact that he couldn't comp the meals was pathetic.

The food tasted alright though, shout out to the kitchen.

Classy cocktail menu-I recommend the Londoner (I always say no lemon). The nutella cheesecake mousse is a must-try. We ordered one and it was so good that we had to get another one Also, Jeremy is an awesome bartender with a wonderful attitude and no doubt keeps regulars coming back.

Food was delicious (as always!) But what really stood out was the service. Our server, Jackie, was quite honestly the sweetest, most genuine and attentive server we've had (maybe ever? !) Our drinks were never empty, she checked in multiple times throughout the evening and you could always tell she had a smile on her face (even with a mask on)! Thanks Central Social for the wonderful dinner and thanks Jackie for the unforgettable evening (and donuts) :)

We popped in for happy hour and a bite to eat. We were served by the twins. They did a great job. We really liked the menu options. The happy hour prices were good. I had the backyard burger and poutine. The burger was over cooked a little but I’m sure that’s not the way they normally serve them. Decent flavour and quality. Felt that it was priced appropriately. Fish tacos were perfect. We were satisfied customers and will return.

Sorry for the delayed review, I thought I did this already.maybe I did. Anyways, last summer my husband and I were tired of being engaged. We decided to elope and Central Social Hall was gracious enough to host us and our family during a pandemic. They followed all protocols socially distanced in the trophy room.each family at their own table. The service was absolutely fantastic.and the food was amazing. They made the whole process from A-Z stress free and made my small family feel at ease and safe yet still uplifted and fun! I am sorry if me and my grandma drank you out of sambuca! We will be returning for our anniversary this summer. Cant wait to see you all again <3

Can't say i've ever been here myself but they were incredibly kind, patient, and over-the-top helpful with my elderly grandmother on a very busy holiday and i really appreciate it! Wonderful people thank you so much

I’ve worked at Central Social twice in its time in St. Albert, both enjoyable times and only left for further opportunities. While covid has put an end to many opportunities and ended just as many, I do my best support local businesses, Cental being one of them. Not only has their food met grade A stantards ever since they’ve opened, they go the extra mile whenever possible and I speak with knowledge of the inner operations. A true local business worthy of supporting especially during this peculiar time of existence for humanity—and if you buy enough they’ll give you desert on the House. ;)

I ordered a Keto (lettuce wrapped) burger, and received a burger patty, 3 sauces and a pile of lettuce in separate containers.

The pickles and cheese were absent. The patty was dried out and sad, and there wasn't enough lettuce to wrap the burger.

For $19 go somewhere else.

Best of all the refund will take several days to process, and the hostess kept the 20% tip I left.

Just had the Bogo fish and chip deal from the VIP group on Facebook and the beer-battered haddock was absolutely delcicous! And, that's coming from a Maritimer! Well done! Finished it off with the Nutella mason jar cheescake on an orea cookie crust.to die for! Yummy all around!

The service at Central Social Hall in St Albert was very good. I had the ginger chicken rice bowl and it had a very good taste and was delicious. Would not hesitate to return and have the same thing again. Keep up the good work.

I tried this spot in the past with my friend and I am addicted since then. I like the awesome character and yummy food and drinks. 5 stars from me.

Today was our first time getting food from Central and it was amazing. We got the Bobby B’s Double Cheese burgers with fries and were very impressed. The burgers were well cooked, not greasy; the bacon was thick and nicely cooked with very little fat and the fries had a nice seasoning.

We were one of the first orders of the day and I was able to pick up the food in 10-15 minutes. The staff member I dealt with was friendly and cheerful and even though there were only two tables with people in them at that time, there were other staff in sight, so even as it got busier, there would have been people to serve them.

We're looking forward to ordering again in the future!

This was the first time we have been out for a meal since March and I missed it we normally went to the Central Social Hall for Sunday Brunch. They did not disappoint our burger was great, and server was very nice.

Service was great! But my friend and I both had to send our food bad. PIizza tasted like burnt garlic, and the chicken for the chicken and waffles was over cooked, the waffles were undercooked and the gravy was lumpy

Have been here twice now and both experiences were very good, some of the best salt and pepper ribs I’ve ever had. Prices seem a little higher but it’s worth it food is consistently amazing and Tastes fresh. Try the dessert doughnuts! Only issue is felt forgotten on the patio by the staff.

Went to BSB after party and there was one security guard who was in charge of not letting anyone into the VIP area from the regular admissions section, He witnessed a girl from VIP section shoving and pushing with her buttocks towards another girl who was right beside her but on the other side of the security guards arm on the regular admissions side. Girls around were talking about how she is doing it to alot of girls that stand by her. The security guard was told about it and also he saw it with his own eyes and chose to do NOTHING about it. But what he did say was " youre too close to the VIP" are you kidding me? The place was packed no one was trying to sneak in to that side and we were on the other side of his arm but the saddest pathetic girl at the bar kept bullying everyone. But because she was in VIP it was fine. When finally someone said something to her, and it got very verbal he kicked 2 girls out when he knew very well that that girl was pushing one of them the entire time. He was standing right there. Not impressed and it reflects poorly on you to have him work in your establishment. Definitely did not feel safe being there after that happened.

I love the food been there a few times and never been disapointed especally with there brunch menu and the croque madam in paticular.

Slow service. Drink prices to high. Only think I enjoyed was the music. To bad there's no dance floor in the st albert location.

The server was unpleasant - had to waited more than 45 min for food.
Even coffee took forever to get a refill.
At one point we thought they forgot about us.

Walked right in and sat down on a busy friday night. Within 2 mins had our drinks, within 5 min had our food ordered. Within probably 10 mins we were eating. Excellent awesome service and food. I spoke with Michael the manager and told him we really appreciate the consistency of service and food. Definitely recommend this restaurant!
