Wonderful experience at Centre for Newcomers!
I looked for help from the the women at front desk and I was really excited to get so much information and support immediately. They were so nice friendly and I do thank you a lot to Najet B.and Helen N.and I also wanted to thank you Evaristo V.for his incredible service and help showing positivity and support. Thank you

An outstanding resource for immigrants arriving in Calgary. They coordinate all areas of assistance including employment, housing, health plus help with all the paperwork.

I was only there for 5 months. I thought it was a pretty chill place to work security at. I met so many people from around the world. Staff Is great. It was a clean environment to work in. I'd say it was my best security site, if not my best workplace to work at. I'm leaving with good memories.

The advisors here provide you information about the different programs. You can be a part of as per your status in Canada. All advisers do not work on your behalf, but they can guide you.taking an appointment beforehand can always help you get the assistance as quickly as possible.

There is a cafeteria inside in case you feel hungry

You will not get much help if you are looking for job. Must visit if you are new to Canada

My friend recommenced me this place for asking how to apply the citizenship test and said that they could help me with all the step but No! They just give me the phone number and tell me to call and ask how to do it! So dont waste your time event to come here and ask for help because they too lazy to helping people like us! USELESS!

I had a really great experience with the Centre of Newcomers. As soon as I got in touch with them, they helped me with various things in getting settled in the new country.
Thanks to Mr. Mansoor Qayoomi for helping me get my DL and Ms. Gagandeep Kaur for providing me with information related to various benefits that I was eligible for.

The settlement and career counselors are very empathetic. They guide you so nice and help new immigrants settle down with so much of an ease. Many thanks to Mansoor and Gagandeep Kaur for all their kindness and support.

Centre for newcomers is a great place to start a new life in Canada as a newcomer. They provided for me 10 hours driving training for free. Mansoor and Pablo are so nice and helpful.

I am one of the new immigrant. I have registered in centre for newcomers. I will be getting an notification email, whenever there is a new program or any new updates for immigrants. So in that way, I got notification email for free driving program. I got selected in the first cohort itself. And Mr. Mansoor helped me a lot to join in this program and he guided me throughout the whole program. The free driving program was really helpful and I learned driving. I am going to give my driving test next week. I hope I will get an license successful. Thank you Mansoor for your wonderful support and Thank you Mrs. Gagandeep Kaur for your all updates and finally Centre for Newcomers is doing wonderful services to all immigrants.

Centre For Newcomers is the best place to search for help and getting in touch with people. I like it’s diversity and inclusion. It’s a safe place to every newcomer who is searching for settlement and work. My career counselor Mansoor Qayumi helped me a lot to search for a job and choose the right option for me. I highly suggest the newcomers who are looking for jobs, learning about Careers and Career Culture in Canada, to go to Centre for Newcomers and ask for advice and help.

Have been there for a workshop related to neurology. The staff is very helpful, co-operative and guides you throughout your visit. Its a very helpful resource for people who are new to the city.
Also, Ethnicity serves delicious and healthy food.

Mohammad Mansoor Qayoomi a career practitioner at the Centre for newcomers in Calgary helped me to find a very good job in CIWA “Calgary Immigrant Women’s Association” and a work as a part time LINC instructor at the center for newcomers.
He can be a good resource to newcomers in order to find areas of work in such new environment.
I would highly recommend you all to book an appointment with this centre post arrival to Calgary, Alberta. It can make things easy to reach and soft to deal.

CFN is a great place for newcomers to get the necessary help that is needed. I approached CFN when I arrived to Calgary in 2022 they introduced me to Mr. Mansoor Qayoomi on of their career practitioners and he has helped and guided me a lot.

The Centre for Newcomers was extremely helpful to me with various steps in Canada. I'm grateful for their assistance in getting my fair-entry application sorted out. My husband and I would like to thank The Immigrant Educational Society and the volunteers of the tax clinic for the opportunity to file our tax returns.
Everything was very well organized. We were scheduled for a meeting on March 10, and they were waiting for us. Since this was our first experience, they had a Russian interpreter to make sure we understood everything very well. Therefore, we felt confident and calm.
Once again, we would like to thank everyone for the good organization, starting with my English teacher, who helped registering us for the tax clinic, everyone involved in the organization, interpreters, the person who filed our tax return and to finish the nice girl who said goodbye to us and wished us a good day. Thank you all very much!
