Sends you an email on Saturday telling you you’ll be charged 200$ for no shows and late cancellations for an appointment reminder you have on Tuesday. Not a chance. This place is an absolute joke 200$ who has that to pay for a cancellation get out of here with that nonsense. Not pleased at all with my experience with this place doubt I will ever return.

This was my second overnight Sleep Study at this facility (this was a follow up approximately 5 years after my diagnosis of obstructive sleep apnea. On both occasions I have been treated respectfully and had my questions answered professionally. The facility is very clean and the design well thought out and the staff are great.

Hmmm, I received a call cancelling my original. Ok, no problem. On the rescheduled date I was called and ask why I MISSED my original appointment? Huh, well you cancelled it. No we did NOT cancel but can you be here Friday. Ok I will be there on Friday. Arrived Friday, about 10 mins l late.
So I was abused by staff and the staff said it was too late go away. We can see you, but in October. Nasty front desk! Cold and unfeeling. See this is what happens to private doctors in Calgary, they have a fixed clientele, the Taxpayers of Alberta, but the private pay. Takes preference.
I will continue the review once I get past the trolls at the front desk in two months.

Everyone at CSHP is kind and truly invested in improving your sleep. Dr. Cohen was warm and empathetic - I felt like he really cared about taking the time to listen and understand my needs. And when my insomnia and quality of sleep improved, I could tell that he was genuinely happy to have helped. I also saw Sonny for CPAP assistance and he was very friendly and knowledgeable. I appreciated his patience instructing me in how to use the device and his willingness to explain all of the sleep data to me. Overall, I had a wonderful experience, and I cannot recommend this clinic enough.

The doctor here did not care about my wellness at all, just rushed through the appointment. I had ongoing appointments there for a few months and it did not help at all. Very disappointing clinic.

I just called today to inquire about sleep apnea treatment for my husband. I was surprised, the lady who answered “Andrea” not that very friendly over the phone. I haven’t even made a first appointment. Now a days, receptionist are not as warm as friendly as they should be.

Hope they change so you guys don’t lose your business. Always remember, without patients you wouldn’t be even needed to work there.

I was referred here by my doctor for the overnight sleep study. At first I was hesitant as the reviews aren't great but I was pleasantly surprised. Priscilla was my sleep technician for the night and she was amazing! She was very pleasant, thorough and knowledgeable and made me feel very comfortable for the study.

I would unfortunately have to agree with some of the comments below and on Rate MDs for Dr Charles Samuels. Seemed annoyed by answering questions, like I was wasting his time and it was below him. When asked for other strategies besides drugs he said he doesn't do that. Was not empathetic or compassionate, just seemed to want to get out of the appointment as soon as possible. I am sure he is very skilled and very knowledgable, but if you are looking for someone to discuss a treatment plan with and ask questions, I would encourage going to someone else.

After meeting with the doctor it was fairly clear that my insomnia was being caused by something else that would not be fixed via regular treatment. Why they decided to have me do they 8 step sleep thing, I don't understand. It was a waste of my time in the end, so I stopped going. Why would you recommened a 8 week program that doesnt pertain to the patient? I also tried calling to cancel ahead of time but I got no response.not helpful.

Initially booking my appointment, it was cancelled and I was told just before the appointment that the doctor had decided to go to a conference and cancelled my appointment, which took months to book and then rebook.

The overnight staff seemed to struggle to work the machines and operate the sleep study, which isn't cheap.

This place was very unprofessional and rude. Dr Samuels can be quite short with patients and offer little assistance. This was my main contention with the clinic. I paid all this money and this guy offers little assistance, and is short tempered with me.

They also required that I take further testing in order to give me a prescription for sleep apnea. They wanted me to trial a machine for $200 in order to receive a discount off my purchase, which is a requirement by the way. The machines APAP/CPAP bought online are 1/3 of the price bought through them. I wouldn't be surprised if they required me to buy a machine through them as well.
