Clean room and got a free upgrade. Location is great if you just want to arrive in Calgary fast and relax in the room.

Always a great place to stay! It is perfectly clean. The customer service is absolutely amazing, I forget my dogs water bowl ALL the time, and it is in my room clean and waiting for them. They have doggy blankets even! My dogs absolutely love staying here as much as I do! What a jem of a motel! It is actually the best place in Calgary!

This is truly a well run motel. They let us book in early which was great as we were on a motorcycle. Very friendly manager or owner. Park outside your door.

Fantastic service! Very lovely front desk people, gave great recommendations for walkable restaurants. It is a little loud in the rooms during rush hours as it is located on the TCH, but they did provide earplugs.

This place should be in a better place on the list of hotels. Little gem. Not expensive. Nice people.

What a wonderful gem of a place! I very much enjoyed the quiet and peaceful 2 nights sleep I got from staying here.

Pillows and bed were comfortable, room was clean, strong water pressure in the shower were just what I needed to relax. The place is well maintained, and the welcome letter I found in my room added a personable approach.

The room's layout made my stay even more pleasant as it allowed me to place my items without feeling cluttered or tight (work desk and comfortable chair, clothes hangers, small fridge/freezer).

First night I arrived was a warm Calgary day but opening the windows cooled and vented the room significantly- didn't need to use the aircon unit during both nights of my stay (last of May/first week of June).

Having arrived late my first night, I decided to take a walk around the neighborhood at midnight and felt very safe.

Being near the main road and its location allowed me to take the bus downtown and drive around in a car. The relaxing hum of the road traffic disappeared when I closed my window. There are also nice places to eat within a few minutes walking distance.

While a friend suggested this place, I still called around other places. The brief and pleasant exchange I had over the phone with the front office staff, convinced me to stay here.

Checking in/out was also a pleasant experience. Very glad I stayed here.

Great and friendly staff. The hotel was great. Pet friendly which I loved. Cleaning everyday. The bed was super soft and comfy. Loads of pillows.
I few things I was surprised about.
No movie channels, not even pay type channel. The fridge was a great size but no freezer section. No microwave. Not kettle (I had asked if they have one and was told we will see what they can do and never heard back. So I bought one. Was disappointed on my last day to see the office bringing another room a kettle.

I stayed 9 nights and only on one night was the next room super noisy where I landed up putting in ear plugs. Each room has a connecting door inside to the next room. Only issue when you have dogs in both rooms was a lot of sniffing and pawing at the door.

Location is fabulous. Parking is great. Price was wonderful.

There’s nothing super fancy or beautiful, but for a budget, it’s fantastic! The room is clean, with a good attempt at making an older motel into a really decent and affordable motel? Anyways, we’re super happy with our stay. Front desk, very nice, very quick. I’d love to call it 5-star, but it’s a motel, it’s a nearly 5-star motel?

%100 would stay again! We’re coming from fire evacuations and they made having animals potentially be there so easy!

I've stayed here recently for 7 nights in the past 2 weeks. Great price for such a comfortable, cozy place.
Staff were great, especially Ethan, who works at the front desk. Cool guy, accomodating and easy to talk to, great people skills. So, kudos to Ethan.

I stay here everytime I come to Calgary (5 times a year). Beautiful, fluffy robes! White fresh linens and towels. I love the provide a "rag" for make-up and spills. Lovely toiletries, hot large clean showers, coffee and pillows. Rooms and furniture are updated and I love its eco-friendly. Nice desk to work or eat at. Spacious rooms and the flooring is easy to keep clean with the snow that comes in, doesn't smell dingy. The staff are always so kind. I just can't express how welcoming they are. I love there is 24 hour help, feels safe. Food delivery, walk to cafes, pubs and liquor store less than a block away on Bowness road (behind hotel) and close to the river and downtown. River rafting and bike rentals in area, quick drive to Markey Mall and Childrens hospital. Beat morning traffic to the mountians with the straight shot on trans-canada, stampede and airport, easy access from trans-canada and I can easily get to meetings at any end of the city because its central. I haven't had to bring pets but the rooms are easy to clean and easy on allergies because there is no carpet.

The nicest motel I’ve ever stayed at! My boyfriend & I booked through Expedia for one night stay here. We were blown away by how modern & newly renovated everything was. So many positives overall: The check in/out process was quick and easy, room was cleaned perfectly- they even left us a note about the sheets being slightly wrinkled (so cute), also the bathroom was bigger than most of the places we’ve stayed - for example the shower had sliding glass door, with shelfs on both sides, the toilet had its own door for privacy, lots of counter space & deep sink. They also provided many clean towels for you to use. I found “the rag” (a clean cloth to be used for the messiest of messes) super cute! The bed was also vert comfy and much bigger than we expected. Being greeted with the softest robes I’ve ever felt on our bed was a nice touch! Really helped push forward their luxurious motel vibe. Overall we’d definitely come back again & again. The value for the price is just unmatched. The only thing I’d say is the walls are abit thin, the people in the room to the right of us were super loud & yelling till 6am. Not the motels fault though, we just put in the provided ear plugs & had a great sleep even with that! Thank you so much Centro motel for the great experience!

Sure, you can tell this place is older but you can also tell they do try to make it look nice and keep it comfortable. There are some really nice added touches. If you're looking for a reasonably priced room this fits the bill.

Clean, comfortable, pet friendly, pleasant staff, feels safer than some other motels. Plenty of parking. Very reasonably priced.

For the price this place was amazing. Extremely comfortable and well kept. If you need an affordable hotel but don't want a dank dingey place, stay here!

Kind and helpful staff, clean and comfortable room, nice beds. They even let us stay an extra hour free of charge because our car was at the mechanic and we were stranded. We will stay here any time were in Calgary!
