As opposed to other reviews, I have no issues with this splash pad. It’s not a “splash pool” as others describe it. It clearly reads “splash pad on the website.
I have never been harassed there. The only issue I have is that it’s July 9th 2022 and it’s not turned on. The website has no info and when I called 311 they couldn’t tell me anything either.
Way to put tons of money into renovations that don’t work.

Love the very open concept to the park but still hate the homeless trying to act tough, shouting things while your trying to enjoy yourself.

I was told there would be a splash pond/pool by the website. I was lied to. There was just this little waterfall thing my son barely fit in to cool off in this heatwave.

There are green areas and benches for seating and the park is located just next to a c-train station.
The water was quite cold on comparison to some of the other parks we've tried.
Please also note that the restroom / changing facilities are currently closed. There are temporary toilet facilities but these were not well-maintained on the day we visited. Will update the rating if things improve.

Loved watching kids play all over the new place, with fresh clean grass, the water park, it's perfect and much better than before.great job!

I dislike the fact that people bring their dogs to the middle of the grass to get relieved. This space is supposed to be clean for people to lay down and for kids to play freely, and should not be ruined that way.

The makeover is beautiful! It looks like a completely different park now. I will probably visit more often now (The goose pic is from a couple of weeks ago. I didn't see any today)

Finally open! Looks nice for time being. All depends on the city and how it maintains it. Just on the adjacent LRT in the morning (5/5: 20) I see many times people huddling in the enclosed waiting areas doing dope and no one seems to care! So I wonder about the new park facilities. If no patrol, we'll it will end up to be the same as before but the city would have wasted millions for nothing!

With such a large grass area, there should be consideration for a skating rink in the winter months. This will better utilize the area not only for local residents but also has easy access with the LRT station from any other part of the city.

AKA Waterpark. Not there anymore. Fenced off to the public and being redone. Very disappointing, I think Waterpark AKA Century Gardens was nice the way it was originally: (
