I came in with a rotator cuff injury. After examining I fiound out it was actually a tear. I was a little sceptical at first but after several treatments, and the PRP experience which was great painful but great my tear is healed over. I felt from the track mill 3 yrs ago and injured my spine and had an operation on my spine after that my both legs and hands feeling numb and my shoulders and arms are sore and tight. Two months ago I started some acupuncture treatments with Dr. Wu my numbness on my legs and hands reduced and my energy level and appetite also improved. There are some significant improvements of my overall situation. He also did the hot cupping and messaging the meridian after acupuncturing which helps the circulation. Thanks Dr. Gui Chao Wu. The practitioners at Century Wellness are the real deal! I injured my lower lumbar about a year ago, and I could not get any relief no matter what I did. I saw a couple different physiotherapists and chiropractors to try and fix me up. I tried all the recommended stretches and exercises without any reprieve.

It wasn't until I went to Century Wellness and started a treatment plan with Dr. Michael that my back finally started to get better. The initial consultation consisted of taking x-rays. From there, we could see that I had degenerated intervertebral discs between my L4 and L5 vertebrae, and my hips and spine were also out of alignment. The treatment plan was pretty aggressive and consisted of getting treated twice a week for the first 2-3 weeks, then once a week for about 4 weeks. Finally, treatments were reduced to once every couple weeks. There was also massage therapy included in the treatment plan. The chiro treatments were not your typical 10 minute adjustment and out the door. Rather, they were hour long sessions where I would get a combination of laser, graston, decompression, acupuncture and finish off with an adjustment.

My back hasn't felt this good in over a year!

I also had the pleasure of getting treated by Dr. Kong, who is trained in ancient Chinese medicine. The treatment we were doing was to get rid the excess heat and perspiration from my body, as well as cleanse my liver and lungs. From the second I sat with Dr. King, she was able to read my body's symptoms of a past cannabis user and heavy drinker. I tried to pull the wool over Dr. Kong's eyes, to no avail - she knew I had fatty liver and was a smoker. Century's approach is generally a holistic one. Dr. Kong provided me with a personalized meal plan to detox my body and reduce the internal inflammation.

Since becoming a patient of Century Wellness, and a hapkido student of Master (Dr.) Micheal, I have lost roughly 25lbs, my back feels great and I couldn't be happier with the results. I feel better all around in all aspects of my well being. 5 stars - 100

At the beginning I had trouble shoulder checking while driving due to lack of mobility, tightness in my neck that always led to headaches as well as lower back pain that would come and go. I have been dealing with all this for years while seeing other physicians to help this that only seemed to be short term bandaids. Dr. Michael took X-rays to show the problematic curves in my spine and a detailed plan on how to correct it. Their entire Team from the front desk to the numerous staff assisting in the back are so pleasant and accommodating! Dr. Michael is the only chiropractor our family would trust. My "restoration" was amazing, fixing many things I had simply put down to getting older (now 70). Dr. Michael knew what combinations of various treatments were needed to efficiently get results. Everyone at Century Wellness is also genuinely friendly and very good at their jobs. You will be put at ease from the start. For me it is now the important process of maintenance. I'm now not only pain free but am standing straighter, walking better, have better posture, have more energy and confidence and even my clothes fit and look better. I also want to add a review of my PRP treatment. My initial visit was to see Dr. Michael was about a painful Achilles. He confirmed by X-rays and ultrasound it was torn and PRP was recommended. I had rather high anxiety about the pain level only to find there was a minute of discomfort during the injection and mild soreness after that was easily handled with Tylenol. The results surprised me. After 13 days the tear was healed. No more limping, pain or daily pain pills. A real win for me and a very worthwhile treatment. The results far outweighed the cost as it has greatly improved my quality of life and allows me to be more active which is only a positive thing.

Very friendly staff, who greet you by name. Dr. Yoon is very knowledgeable, personable, and caring. He is trained in radiography doing x-rays right in the clinic, and does ultrasound imaging as well. After my evaluation, an entire treatment plan was presented, and explained to me. He asks questions and listens. I was very impressed with the wide range of treatments offered. I noticed improvement after my first treatment, being able to shoulder check much better while driving. The massage therapists complemented my chiropractic treatments as well, seemingly knowing what areas needed work. With my initial treatment plan done, I have committed to continue with monthly maintenance treatments to keep my body more agile with less pain.

I have to admit that I was very skeptical about what was attainable through chiropractic care as I’ve seen so many over the years, none with good results.
A few months ago a friend showed me a picture of an X-ray taken of his back by a doctor at the Century Wellness clinic The shot was a before and after of his spine. The difference was incredible too say the least! I made an appointment with Dr Yoon as I’ve had back and shoulder pain for years. The Doctor took X-rays and ultrasound of my back, shortly thereafter a plan of action was set into motion using platelet-rich plasma (PRP), laser therapy, acupuncture/ dry needling, massage and Chiro. These tools had become my journey to healing.

Posting for my elderly mother in law: I got used to living with pain, just thought it was part of growing old. Then I came across Dr. Michael Yoon and it changed my life. I have a medical condition called Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. It's a degenerative soft tissue disorder where hypermobility is a symptom. I can dislocate joints really easily and it's incredibly painful. I've been partially dislocating both my shoulders for the better part of 20yrs but recently not only did I dislocate both my shoulders, but I also dislocated 4 ribs and my neck was out, too.

I had pain from a car accident for 4 years and severe sciatica for 10 months when I started at Century Wellness. I got a recommendation for this clinic and it has changed my life. I have been to Century Wellness since last summer. I have enjoyed the chiropractic, & acupuncture, sessions. Dr M. Yoon and his staff provide excellent care, and are very good at what they do. They are able to provide a before and after assessment, showing progress through treatment, and improvement of your spine using images prior to treatment and after treatment. This is very helpfull to understand changes that occur over time to improve spine posture.

My experience with Century Wellness was overall very good. I did not suffer from any injury, but had some work done as preventive maintenance. My alignment was far from great, but after just 10 sessions with Dr. Michael, my alignment was nearly perfect. I am satisfied with the compound techniques used including shockwave therapy, laser therapy, chiropractic adjustment, acupuncture, massage, and Graston technique.

I have been seeing chiropractors for over 17 years because of a car crash when I was young.   I have seen numerous other professionals in my years however Dr Michael has been the best.   I now travel over an hour every month to see him because of how much he has helped my body.   If I miss a month I can easily tell how much he does for me.   I can easily recommend him to anyone and everyone!

First met Dr Michael Yoon in the summer of 2005, he had a table at the Lilac Festival where I stopped to ask a few questions in regards to my constant headaches/migraines. He invited me to come to his clinic to complete a full assessment, turned out I had a curvature in my spine.

It was recommended that I would need three visits a week to start to correct the situation. At first thought it would be a bit much due to the clinic being a 45 minutes drive each way, realized it was worth a try to see if it would help.

To make a long story short, I am still driving the long distance and have followed Dr Michael to his new location. My visits have decreased to monthly maintenance and I feel so good leaving his office after my acupuncture/chiropractic treatments and wouldn’t have it any other way. 16 years and counting, client for life <3

I’ve been a competitive dancer for 15 years now and my body was very run down and in pain including a curve in my spine. I started seeing Doctor Michael and after about a month or more of treatment, I’m already feeling so much better. Happy to have found this clinic! Dr. Michael is extremely knowledgeable and staff is always accommidating.

I was nervous about coming to Dr. Michael because previous chiropractors I worked with were very rough and there seemed to be no game plan. They just wanted me to keep coming indefinitely. Dr. Michael is very gentle. He tells you what the game plan is on day one so you know exactly what your treatment is and how long it will take. And it works! The symptoms I came to see him for have resolved completely.

Dr. Michael is very transparent and open when he discusses his treatment plan for you. The centre is very clean and everyone is very warm and friendly. After my first month I already see some changes in my pain and posture! Being proactive is key!

I visited Century Wellness when I felt that no one else could help me. My hips and neck were out and I walked into their clinic limping. I felt release after the first treatments. Dr Yoon does more than one kind of treatment depending on what is right for you. I had tried other treatments with no relief. Dr Yoon has a treatment plan for every patient. He treats everyone with great care trying to help people heal no matter what their problem is.
I was very empressed with his treatment plan for me so I took my husband in to see if Dr Yoon could help him as well. My husband suffered a bad fall. He got a concussion, broke ribs and hurt his back. My husband noticed a difference after his first treatments as well. He stands and walks better now and is continuing treatments to feel more normal.

Before coming to Century Wellness I avoided the chiropractor, sports medicine therapists and the like. Just the thought made me anxious. I would cringe at the mere thought of the pain I would endure for little/no results. Even worse I would suffer a huge confidence blow when I was dismissed quickly and told that losing weight was my only option.

I had suffered for years with chronic pain. I had also resigned myself to the fact that this was my life. Diabetic neuropathy, a broken ankle, and many years of hip pain and I was ready to accept this.

Then I received a phone call from Dr Michael Yoon. A family member had mentioned that I suffered a lot. Told him how I had given up and was too anxious to even consider treatment.
He called me at home (with my permission of course) to talk about my health.

We spoke about many things and he told me he wanted to help me. That he could help me get better! He made me relax, and I decided to try.

Right from the first visit I was encouraged that I could and would get better. Mentally I wasn’t prepared for what was about to happen.

It’s been just over a month and all I can say is I am almost 100% pain free. My spine has straightened over 50% and I am even taller!
