DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY EVER.we ordered a boxset of books and had it shipped to store. Item did not arrive on promised date, customer service rep said was. " ORDER IN PROCESS" provided no further data, wouldn't cancel the order or refund money. Claimed she would escalate the call but would not promise time frame nor offer any help other than.in process.

I thought chapters was a book store. Someone please explain to me why there are more home goods than books? I left severely disappointed

Chapters is always a great place to shop. For me, there is a great selection and the staff are always nice, knowledgeable and helpful. The store itself nice and organized

You get your money's worth. Some items, product, books can be pricey.

The book selection is always excellent, I can never leave without finding a new read! They also have a wide variety of home and decor items, which I have always been able to find a gift for any occasion. The employees are always friendly and knowledgeable.

I'd spend every penny I had there if I could. Let's just say whoever handles the marketing and products knows Exactly who they're selling to. The spread of the store flows well and with a Starbucks inside you could lose days happily wandering the isles. Helpful staff, great atmosphere

The Starbucks was really nice and had some really friendly staff. Next to it is a book store that has such a wide range of books it amazing. They even have a really good manga section I was able to find a few mangas that I was missing from my collection and the staff were also able to order some more which are coming in the next few days

Deplorable customer service, asked for some help finding a book was told to use the website and the employee walked off.

Always a nice and calming place to browse. I like to get a drink from Starbucks and sit by the fire reading a good book. I am always greeted with a friendly smile and asked if I need anything. Great place!

Been coming to this location since I was in highschool and I could spend hours in here just wandering around with a coffee.

I like the gifts they have in store. Many of them are shockingly expensive. Nice place to browse.

I was looking for more of Anne Rice's books to add to my growing collection, I couldn't find ones I didn't have until one guy that works there looked up her other pen name and helped me find her Beauty chronicles. #ripAnnerice

Lots of books of every kind as what you would expect from a book store. Was looking for a certain book the staff member that helped me was super good. Looked it up fast and even went and pulled it off the shelf.

There is a fellow that works the till who has really long hair. His laugh is loud and infectious. He is also the friendliest funniest most knowledgeable, helpful and beautiful soul you may meet in a long time. Having a bad day? Go in for a coffee, a browse end a chat with this chap. You wont regret the experience.

The store is clean, comfortable, and well organized. I had a fantastic conversation with an employee about a product, and the premium card was only brought up after an expensive item was scanned. The staff is friendly and are a joy to interact with. There weren't any unwelcome pushes or pressures for my stay and overall this location is a good one. No real complaints and nothing to earn a fifth star, so I feel a solid 4 stars is fair.

Chapters always has a quaint and warm atmosphere that they were able to maintain even in the midst of a pandemic.

I only give take off a star because it seemed like some titles were placed in some niche spaces that they didn't belong, as if they were trying to hop onto a trend they didn't fully understand.

The space was well sanitized with interesting product that grabbed our attention and I would easily recommend this place to friends and family.

I love this store! I've been coming here for over a decade and it's always a pleasant experience. The store is very well organized, the staff are quite helpful, and I really enjoy all the miscellaneous things they stock. The on site Starbucks is a great addition, especially with restrictions lifting. It doesn't have the charm of a small book store, but it's still a magical place where there are way too many books that I want to buy.

Ridiculously overpriced for everything there. A simple pack of pens is over $20, and I can order books cheaper on Amazon. Sorry to say, I think this is one service you are better to order online.

It's a mid-sized bookstore with friendly, enthusiastic staff and a Starbucks attached to it. If this is the kind of thing you like, then you'll love this.

Now this Covid stuff is getting ridiculous. Chapter's now discriminate the mask you have to use. They have lost my patronage. My mask wasn't good enough.

They have many thing you wouldn't expect a book store to have (this is good feedback). A cool place to get a coffee and maybe find a good book.

Always a great place to shop for new books. The staff were helpful and recommended a few True crime books to me. Folloqing that thwy helped me locate some magazines i was looking for relatsd to Raspberry pi.

Was followed around by multiple employees, watched like a hawk, made to feel like a criminal. All because my young child didn't have a mask on. We took maybe 3 steps before we were immediately stopped and handed one.

If they are going to treat people with mask exemptions as second-class citizens worthy of contempt, they don't need my business anymore.

The manager seemed more interested in flirting with the door greeter than helping me figure out a replacement notebook for a smart pen they sell.

Zero product knowledge
Zero empathy for the frustration

Walked out without purchasing and received better service from Amazon.

Shop online because the employees at this location are here for a paycheque and don't give a damn about the customers

Great book store. My only complaint would be that they aren't too friendly if you cant wear a mask

My father who has 2 lung conditions and can't wear a mask but can wear a face shield, went in today and was refused entry because he wasn't wearing the "proper mask". Even though he was wearing the face shield. Meanwhile, another family member wore a plastic chin-shield that went just above her nose, and that was deemed fine. My father is able to wear the face shield to every other store except Chapters. This place is a joke, I would give 0 stars if possible.

I'll be honest, I read like one book a year yet I still absolutely love browsing this store. I'm not sure why, but I always have. It has a nostalgic feel and the fact that I can't quite pinpoint why both bothers and confuses me but I'll tell you what. They somehow made Starbucks feel much less pretentious and that is a feat in and of itself. Congratulations!

Not much to say, classic chapters. Book n' a coffee is all anyone needs in one place.:)
As for staff, fantastic and thorough when you want a personal voice opinion rather than simply looking up the title of a book.

This store is breaking the city bylaw by not honoring mask exemptions and discriminating against disabled, people suffering trauma and other medical reasons preventing them from wearing a face covering. This decision this store has made is no different then refusing someone due to skin color or religion. Contact their head office if they discriminate against you for not being able to wear a covering. Another store tried this in Lethbridge and the end result was they had to follow city bylaw and allow exemptions.

I enjoy shopping at Chapters. The Lethbridge site staff are friendly and helpful. This bookstores is fun.

Book store, nothing more, staff seemed sad to have to help me and it smelled like stale coffee and dead dreams.

Went to this store and was informed I had to mask up. When I advised “medical Exemption’, was told Chapters does not recognize them and to mask up. I advised ‘ok’, went back to my car and grabbed my big face shield. This monster (used for grinding metal) goes from my forehead, almost to my chest. Came back thinking ok, this should work and my breathing can handle it for a short while. But nope, turned back.
So, this means that if you have COPD or other medical issues, you are not wanted in this Chapters. I guess they live by their own bylaws and possibly their own physical reality (different laws of physics?). So, I buy elsewhere. I wonder when this store will go broke chasing customers away.
I did give 2 stars because the gatekeeper at Fort Chapters was polite. So I will give them that.
Suggest Chapters looks at AHS order 38-2020 section 24 for mask definition. So many books, so little knowledge.

A good selection of books of many genres can be found here. The store also contains a Starbucks.

Will no longer support this company as they discriminate people with medical conditions and exemptions. Very sad to see in today’s world, and how much of their staff have been so rude about it as well. Stop supporting business that are ok with stripping your rights. Picking and choosing which part of the bylaw to follow is wrong.

Ordered a book online and it was ready for pick up in an hour. Service was quick to run in and pick up.

It's a Chapters so you already know the staff and store are lovely, but I was also pleased they are taking the current epidemic seriously so it feels like a safe place to visit.

Also, it is a Chapters. A bookstore would have to screw up pretty spectacularly for me to dislike the place.

Chapters is a pretty good place, but once a year they rearrange everything and you have to search what you came in for again.

Great customer service. Keep doing what your doing. We were looking for a certain book, the sales lady knew her stuff & the cashier was very friendly.

You can never go wrong with chapters. Aside from the wide range of selections they have cool knick-knacks, games, toys, notebooks, stationary, etc. The customer service is even on the better end of the scale here.

Books are so expensive. I wish I would win the lotto so I can buy more books. Staff was helpful once I found one. Staff recommended a book. It was wonderful.

This location allows dogs, and is in close proximity to park place mall and all its amenities. One of the nicer chapters I have been to!

Always an enjoyable experience, staff were helpful although I didn't need their help find the books I was looking for as the store is well stocked and has lots of signage.

Love this location! Has a great starbucks that I like to come for coffee and to do a bit of light reading or work. I came here over the Christmas holidays to buy jellycat monkeys for gifts.

Great selection here. If they don't have it, they will bend over backwards to try to get it for you. It is nice having a place who will go the extra mile to help you.
