My furnace stopped working on the coldest day this week around -35 degrees, and Charlton & Hill was able to send a tech over within 2 hours of calling. They provided space heaters to use in our home until the issue could be solved, and corrected an initial diagnosis that would have cost us over $1000. The problem was much simpler, and 1/3 of the original estimate. Cole clearly explained everything over the phone, and completed the work quickly. Will use their services again in the future and would recommend.

Charlton & Hill Home Service provided my mom with the best quality service! Her furnace quit late at night and I called and spoke with the after hours secretary. The next morning my mom received a phone asking if she was ok and that a service repair person would be coming to look at the furnace. Her furnace needed to be replaced and it would take a day for it to be picked up. In the mean time they also provided my mom with heaters to help keep her home warm. The very next day her new furnace was installed and the service repair man left her home just as clean as when he arrived. I am so very thankful they could help my mom. I hands down recommend Charlton and Hill Home Service for all your household needs!

The people who came to install our furnaces were very courteous and fun! They worked steadily to get us up and running. They answered all our questions. The office called a few times to make sure all was okay and that we were satisfied with the furnaces and the people doing the install. We had a very positive experience with the whole event. If you're looking for great customer service, I'd say Charlton and Hill is your company!

Missed/ignored multiple requests for service regarding a leaky toilet tank. They apologized several times for their service error, but were ultimately unable to resolve my plumbing issue.

All three people I worked with from Charleton and Hill (forgive me, I am terrible with names) were professional, pleasant and helpful. In particular I really appreciate that they spoke directly to me rather than deferring to my husband (who is not the one in the household who knows about home maintenence). I have had problems with that with other companies in the past. I had an excellent experience with this company and will call them again.

Chris came to our home to give a quote for an A/C unit. He was very helpful and informative on the type and size that our home would need to be as efficient as possible. He sat down with us and went over the quote, his knowledge of the construction side was very helpful as well. We were so impressed with Chris so I decided to get a quote for a garage heater and referred him to a family member. We will be having both the A/C unit and garage heater installed this month. This is my third time using Charlton and Hill for plumbing/HVAC issues in our home. I was beyond impressed with Katie, who went above and beyond when we experienced a small problem to ensure that the job was completed and that we were satisfied with the work completed. Brian and Kyle did amazing work installing our Generac. Really nice work. Never left a mess. They were fast for the amount of work done. We love it. Kind and professional guys.

Ryan and Kyle did a great job removing and installing a new range hood as well as replacing the outside outlet. Work completed in about two hours. This was after waiting over a month trying to get Rona Installation Services (contracted to Quick Contractors- an oxymoron). Will sure be contacting Charlton & Hill Home Services for any future work.

Kyle, Bryan, and Dillon did an excellent job providing us with a Generac generator that can power our whole house! Looking forward to never losing power again! Brian, Jerrett and Austin did an amazing furnace and AC job too! Very happy with the final result

During a heat wave my parents (seniors) air-conditioning conditioning quit, they canceled 2 appointments on them! When I called to ask why, the secretary was very rude! I would not recommend only because of the cancelation and attitude towards the situation! Not impressed.

Keevin made what turned out to be a lot of bad new more bearable.
He came to do a service check and he found alot of problems. He is the first technician who actually talked to me and not past me. He explained the problem and the probable causes. He was kind, helpful and sincere. I felt like I could trust him. Thanks Keevin!

Called this company to install a new sink unit for us. The first time he installed it 2 inches away from the wall and tried to convince me that it was the best he could do. I made sure it was possible and called him back to do it right. He came back 2 days later and put re-installed it flush to the wall (after I drilled the holes for the pipes myself) and he charged another $250 for this visit. The office knocked off $50 after I complained. Noticed last week that the drain is now leaking…the “special” drain he had to install because it was “better”. Never again will I call this company, they used to be excellent…not any more

Kevin has come out twice for two separate things and each time he has been professional, courteous and detailed in explaining what is going on and what can be done to resolve it. I would recommend Keevin and give him top marks for all categories.

Kyle came to complete some electrical issues after the install of new ac unit & furnace. Kyle was friendly and professional as well as being super fast and efficient. Would recommend every time!

Charlton & Hill did a great job diagnosing and fixing a plumbing issue I had behind my washing machine. They were very quick to respond, very knowledgeable and professional. Joel even took the time to take a look at any other issues I might have had around the house. I couldn't recommend these guys enough!

A first rate experience

Joel (plumbing technician) was on time and began by offering his estimate for the installation in addition to quickly reviewing other systems which we might be having any issues with. This was very thoroughly done in a very professional manner. He noted the minor issues so that should we require a visit from HVAC technician, some preliminary information about potential issues would be on hand.

The appliance installation was completed in an efficient and thorough manner.

Our furnace died on the 27th of December of 2021 on the 28th we lost water in the kitchen. The temperatures were roughly -30 at night and -25 in the days. Stephan and Austin arrived on the morning of the 29th. They were installing new water tank and a new furnace. LENNOX ELITE c/w HUMIDIFIER and MERV II FILTER. They started working on the install at 8: 30 and by noon they had the new furnace in and running and within another hour or so they had the water tank in and running. They brought portable heaters with them to help unthaw the water lines. So by the time they left at 3: 30 I had heat and water. They were professional, through and very helpful.

Cole attended to repair our furnace which had quit working on one of our cold days last week. He was extremely knowledgeable and answered all our questions. Our furnace needed to be replaced, however he managed to get us heat until we could have the new furnace installed this week. Stephen Vandenburg & Austin Buckert attended on Monday morning to install our new furnace. They were amazing, on time and answered all our questions and were extremely professional.all three employees (Cole Friesen/Stephen Vandenburg/Austin Bueckert) are all definite assets to your team. We will definitely use Charlton & Hill for all our future needs for heating/air conditioning/duct work etc in the future!

Stephen and his crew installed a new furnace for us almost immediately after we called. They arrived on time, we’re very fri fly and respectful, cleaned up when they were done and explained everything we needed to know. I would highly recommend this team!

Our fan motor on our Air Conditioner failed on the weekend during an extraordinary heat wave. We called Charlton and Hill and they not only had the hard to find parts in stock, but they were willing to come out on a Sunday afternoon and fix it up. Nathan is very professional and competent. Charlton & Hill continues to impress us with their quality of work. We had a loud, annoying water hammer banging happening whenever there was a change in water pressure in our home. They quickly determined the location of the problem, explained the situation to us, improvised an approach to resolving the situtation that provided access to the trouble area, then carried out the work quickly and professionally. Plumbing checkup. Excellent communication regarding appointment time. Was contacted prior to arrival. Quick & thorough inspection. All questions and concerns were addressed. Minor repair was completed without a return visit. Excellent service.

The upgrade to a sinks water supply hoses was completed quickly and the work was of high quality. Service technicians (Don S and Joal) were friendly, polite, informative, knowledgeable, and left the area very clean. After the work was completed they explained what was done. When they entered the house, they wore plastic covers on their boots and they wore masks following all Covid 19 regulations. I would recommend them to anyone having plumbing issues.

They replaced my hot water tank. My service tech was very friendly and professional. He got everything installed and even gave me instructions on how to relight my pilot light if it ever went out or how to clear the calcium out of my tank. Everything was explained in such a way that even a total novice like myself could understand it. Awesome service.

Although I wasn’t prepared to replace my hot water tank, knew it was getting ready to quit, was replaced on the same day as service call.

Charlton Hill did an excellent job with our retrofit A/C installation. We found them to be very knowledgeable, experienced, skillful, well organized, hard- working, courteous and friendly. Lon from Charlton & Hill came to do a Flood Awareness inspection at my home. He recommended replacing my old water tanks, sump pump and washer hoses. He and Jamie came 2 days later and replaced all of these and installed a new humidifier as well. They were very courteous, checked with me every step of the way, completely cleaned everything that they worked with, hauled every thing away when done. They were friendly and had a great attitude and sense of humours. They also explained everything to me afterwards and were very good about questions. I am very happy with the great service they provided.

I phoned for a plumbing repair. Within 3 hours they had arrived and fixed the problem. It was done in a very pleasant manner.

We had Charlton & Hill come out to replace a hot water tank. I called about it not working and they had someone here within the hour. They were very courteous and professional while working in our clinic. They were able to install a new tank and complete the job in a timely manner. Whether it's furnace filters, problems or regular maintenance, evaluations and repairs, I have found them to be honest, knowledgeable, and very clean, prompt, friendly and helpful.

I found this business to have no communication. I am very disappointed as this seems to be the trend nowadays but not linked to what is going on in the world. Got the feeling if I didn't have a large paying project that I wasn't worth the time. Good luck with running the business that way.

We had our furnace inspected and found severe cracks in the heat exchanger. Charlton & Hill did an estimate for us that was better than other estimates we had. Over several days we had at least ten different employees dealing with us and working in our home. Every single one of them was friendly, professional and bent over backward to be helpful. They did some extra things that were not in the estimate for no additional cost. The service was exemplary and I would highly recommend this company.

Charlton&Hill installed 2 furnaces, air-conditioning and a tankless hot water heater. They were very professional in installing this equipment, understood what they needed to do and completed the work on time. It was a lot of work for them as they had to vent the Energy efficient 2 furnaces and hot water tank outside. Although we did not check around for other prices we feel that the Quality and performance of the product, the quality of the workmanship, and the price was well worth it. Thank you

When we called this morning we were pleasantly surprised to have an actual person answer the phone instead of having to leave a message. The office kept us informed on the approximate time someone would be here, ‘she’ was very helpful.

Adam, the service technician just left our home; what a friendly helpful guy he was! We were having a problem with our furnace, which fortunately turned out to be a very minor problem. Adam answered all of our questions and even gave us a few helpful hints.
