Nadia is really the best! She makes sure you are doing well whenever she sees you around and she also loves to get to know people as well. She makes my morning anytime I see her working with a smile on her face!

We have been a resident of the Chateau Apartment complex for the past seven years. It has always been a nice place to live, but in the last couple of months, it has been great. The onsite manager and the maintenance crew have been nothing short of exceptional.

Their responsiveness to any concerns or issues truly sets them apart from all the previous managers we had. They consistently demonstrate a genuine concern for the well-being and satisfaction of their residents.

Our experience at the Chateau apartment has been good, but it has been outstanding lately.

I recommend the Chateau apartment to anyone looking for comfortable, well-maintained and welcoming people.
Thank you to the onsite team for making it truly feel like home.

Boardwalk team at Chataeu apartments in Calgary is awesome. Danny at the lease office is super helpful, excellent resident care, nice guy! Adam is always up for help, excellent guy! Security officers are vigilant, very watchful and kind too at same time. I have had an excellent time with Boardwalk!

I lived at Chateau for a year and I loved living in this building! The modern units were a great size and you couldn't ever really hear neighbours at all from my experience. The management team was one of the highlights of the building! They are all amazing, always very professional and friendly (specifically Scott Kerr!). I would definitely recommend living here!

Please note I did not live at this location but this is a review of Boardwalk as a company- not a specific location.

The problems began when I moved out and broke my lease after living there for two years and four months. I ended up paying more than 2000$ for “incentives” for four months. My one bedroom apartment was valued at 1450 (more than my mortgage) and I was paying 1280. Later I found out that a lady was oui g 1200 for a two bedroom two bathroom. All units are valued individually and there is no consistency in rent. I had to rembourse the “incentives” plus my parking spot (100/month) plus 1000$ penalty. It ended up costing me 2000$ to move out. Without my knowledge or permission, they took my damage deposit, no damage occurred (I have the paper to prove it), and applied it to my bill. Pretty sure you cannot use they damage deposit for anything else but damage. Instead of giving me the full bill, they assumed I didn’t want it back and took it because I had a balance owing that I was willing to pay. I would have much rather made that decision myself of whether I wanted to apply it or not. They took my deposit for non-damages. Not only that, they charged me 320$ for the Telus contract that I brought with me for my new place. They eventually reimbursed me for this, however, I had to fly off the handle to get it. And I mean lose it on the phone. And forget about ever getting in touch with these people at Boardwalk. I left three messages in 8 days to be able to have someone finally call me back. I explained to her that I can’t sell my house and go back months later for what it should have been worth. Paying for incentives- really? I understand I signed a contract however these are stipulations that are non-negotiable. If you say no to paying incentives if you break your lease you can’t live there. Be aware that this is a clause.

Honestly, I’m a young lady who has a lot of friends and social media followers and I would not recommend Boardwalk to any of them simply for the move out experience. Avoid- they do not appreciate loyalty for two years and four months of income. Another bloodsucking, capitalist company who does not think long-term about their reputation. Rather live in a box on the street than sign a lease with them again.

I lived here for 11 months. There are few things people want to live here should know. First three months, fire alarm thing happened every week. Nothing actually happened. Then the elevator is not working. In the fifth months, I washed my clothes in the laundry room. My clothes were be stolen. Today, someone broke my car's windows. Nothing was be stolen. But it makes me unsafe to park here. People need a key to get in. How come that broken thing still happen? Office people is nice. He helps me to clean and put cover on my window. People want to live here that really need to think about. Is it the safe and nice home to live? I do have question mark here?

To all haters here. Please do not consider those ratings below. Come on guys, if you want to live in a nice apartment then of course construction is a must. I live in this building for few years and Boardwalk have done such a fantastic job with renovating lobby, hallways, gym etc. People should start appreciating things not only complain. They had an issue with changing staff but that was about a year ago. The 2 new managers Harry and Eldonna are super friendly and very helpful, greeting and asking if everything is ok every time they see me. Fresh coffee in the lobby everyday! Which company will do that for you every morning! Little things but they mean a lot! Which rental office is open 7 days a week? The best customer service in a building I have ever lived in. 5 stars with no doubt!
