Stayed for a convention. Great service, nice breakfast! Clean rooms. Great temp in rooms too.

I found this place to be super convenient to get to even if you are pulling a cargo trailer behind your pickup (in which I was). Tons of parking out front of this hotel to accommodate cars, pickups, pickups with trailers vans and moving size vans. The rooms are really great. The prices are reasonable and not crazy like some others. Very clean and the restaurant in the lobby tops off your stay with a hot breakfast. I also believe you get breakfast vouches with your stay. My wife and I have stayed here many times together and we have never had anything less than a pleasant experience. I would definitely recommend Chateau Nova Yellowhead to friends and family.

I attended a 50th wedding anniversary celebration and was impressed with the venue. The staff was friendly and attentive. Table service and clean up all fantastic!
The celebration had a buffet and service was great. The dishes were replenished so yhere was always fresh and hot food available.
Seafood medley was delicious and same with the roast beef.
Dessert table had fresh fruits and a selection of squares, not too much but perfect as the celebration desserts were plenty!
I would totally recommend this venue for weddings or for any celebration.

Hotel was fairly clean and staff were friendly. They don't have a pool unfortunately, but they do have a fitness centre and a steam room. Our room wasn't cleaned when we checked in, so we were given another room right away, which was nice. The most annoying thing about this place was the static shock that I experienced EVERY SINGLE TIME I went to use my key card to unlock my door after getting out of the elevator. I don't know what it was that was causing it, but it hurt and made me scared to open the door ever.

Located a bit out of the usual hotel strip it was close to an event I attended and chose this hotel for convenience. Staff were pleasant and helpful and the room was clean and cozy. The bed was very comfortable and expected traffic noise (due to its proximity to the yellowhead highway) was at a minimum level. Not even noticeable. I would stay here again

I do not recommend if you have children I have a son with autism so sometimes he is loud the hotel kicked us out even after knowing he is autistic that is a human rights violation and they didn’t even care very unprofessional told us to take our kid to a park this is not your home it’s a hotel

The place was dinged up, walls were scratched molding was falling off sink was cracked amongst other issues. They didnt honor the expedia price, I was promised $120 a night and they charged me $160 a night that wasn't counting room tax nor was it counting the deposit. There were people smoking crack out front when I showed up and they were there almost daily. The managment was very aggresive, they didnt offer continental breakfast and there was no room service and the desk lady let me know about the option of bringing a menu upstairs to my room so I could make food orders from my room and could go pick it up, the managment got upset with me for asking for a menu, he basically snapped at me saying that I could look the menu over but I couldnt take the menu with me to my room.so not sure why the manager was rude towards me and why there was a clear lack of communication between staff and managment. I am leaving a 1 star review due to the lack of services the upcharging, dishonestly and drug consumption outfront. I took photos of the damaged areas of my room and notified the desk workers about it because in the contract there was a part mentioning any damage will be upcharged. Knowing this place I will be up charged anyways. Avoid this place at all costs.

Rooms were perfect. Great size, comfortable beds, very quiet. Lots of parking and restaurant on site was better than expected! Ended up eating there a few nights because it was good! Exactly what I needed for the week.

Only downside was there could have been better water pressure in the shower/washroom.

Great service, very clean rooms. Fast check in and check out. Pet friendly. Close to regular Costco and Costco business center. Ample parking. Only issues were on the second floor ice machine tumbler was broken so you can hear it going round and round. Had to go to 3rd floor for ice. No room service, that was disappointing cause we brought a dog and wanted to order room service so we did not have to leave her. I had to pick it, which was fine but the take out containers were weak and absorbed all the liquid from the hot food and the food was spilling. The food ended up being dry cause all the liquid soaked into the containers. Should bring back room service. For suites they should consider a small table with chairs. No tables to eat on, other then on the floor lol. With a puppy that was a fun time. Ha ha! I would for sure stay there again though. The front desk girls were

This hotel is a hidden gem. This was our second stay and the room was clean and cozy and QUIET! I can’t get over how quiet it was just being right on St. Albert Trail and the Yellowhead.
The room was great, the hotel has a very ‘grandiose’ feeling and the hallways are decorated with wonderful historical photos of Edmonton. It was almost like taking a gallery walk each time we went out into the hallways. The room boosts a bar size fridge and freezer as well as a microwave.

Very happy with the stay. Very reasonable rates and you're still in very central location in the city but avoiding having to park downtown and pay for separate parking.
We had the pet friendly room and asked to be placed away from entrances and elevators so our dog would be more comfortable and the staff accommodated our requests to the best of their abilities. Very much appreciated!

Due to the location being right by Yellowhead you do hear some traffic noise during the night, so if you are a light sleeper keep that in mind. Didn't bother us though.
