Was in desperate need of a haircut when this area was being developed, so went to this salon (but I'm a fella so I'll call it a Barbershop as well). Haven't gone anywhere else (unless I'm travelling) since. Going on 4 years now I think. Always pleased.

Upbeat, funny, open, and kind all the while doing a perfect cut.

I am very happy with Sue. I am always happy with her skills but I will be looking for another place to have my hair done. The expense of a haircut and highlights is way too high. Also I was charged a green fee last time I was there and no one mentioned that to me. Like everything/one else, this vendor is greedy. Recycling is part of doing business, stop charging your customers!

Stopped in for shampoo, conditioner and a heat protectant. I was able to find the perfect t match for me with the help of the sweetest and most helpful staff member. Gave great tips and tricks and was able to answer all my questions like a champion.

I was scheduled with an Elite stylist to do a balayage on my hair. While she was working with me she took on another girl and literally forgot about me. I had to stand up and ask but that’s not all. When finished my hair was all yellow and told her it’s not the caramel color I asked for and she said this is what it is. However today I went to another stylist and she told me I have just bleach hair my hair was not toned and spent another $75 because of a botched balayage. Never coming back there again as I spent $250

Nice place, no complaints! Lots of products to choose from and Benneth is my go to for my cuts.

Nelson is terrific. I came in for the first time today and was worried because last time I got my hair cut, the person chopped it off and did not listen. Nelson however, is great at Listening to what the client needs. He is professional, calm and knows what he is doing. I loved his attention to details. Thank you, Nelson!

Came here a bit apprehensive after a rough experience at a different salon, Allan was wonderful! He kept the length I requested, took his time and I left with lighter, softer hair. I will definitely be back to see him.

Ana p is the best, I’ve been coming to this location just because of her for the last 2 years. She’s like family at this point, if you’re having a bad day she will put a smile on your face. I’ve always been happy with the service she provides.

Nelson E Is probably the best hair stylist I’ve had in a long time. He used my hairs natural textures to their advantage and my hair cut turned out fantastic! I could not have asked for a better result! I definitely felt like he gave me his full attention all the way down to the small details. 10/10 would recommend.

Counter service was good. Stylist seemed new. Always ask the experience level of youre hairdresser.

Nelson is great very patient and gentle with the service. Although he is a newcomer, he makes up for it with his service! I recommend!

I was searching for a good stylist after my stylist went to Mat leave, I was so lucky to find this amazing stylist in Chatters in Beacon hill, her name is Jacelain & she always does a great job, I don’t need to tell her what I want, she gives me a few options & I tell her that I always trust her & I know I am at good hands, she is so sweet & friendly, also very professional! I recommend her 100%

I recently had my hair cut by Nelson. He was awesome! So precise, detail oriented yet has a feather light touch. I’m so happy with how he cut my hair. I’ll definitely be back to see you Nelson.

Nahid gave me an excellent haircut and partial highlights. The cut made my fine hair look thicker, and excellent colour result refreshing partially grown out highlights. Highly recommend!

Today I got my hair cut at the Chatters in Beacon Hill. Jenny V did a wonderful job on my hair. It shows that she truly cares about her work and her clients.

The hair stylist was very nice. I'm blonde, went in for a balayage and cut. I showed the stylist a picture of what I wanted. I ended up with yellow streaks (and as any blonde will tell you, you do not want YELLOW). She retoned it and it was better, but still not what I was looking for. Paid $300, which is ridiculous. My back was soaked, no scalp massage, water sprayed on my face. If you're charging $300+, you need to be able to keep up with the nicer salons and be a master stylist. I will not be going back.

I have had no luck since I came to Calgary last year in finding a good hair stylist, who listened to what I wanted and looked at the picture for how I wanted my Color, then another picture of how I wanted my hair styled! I finally found my hair stylist! A big thank you to Jenny V! You were awesome and I was very happy with the Color & style I wanted, I love it. I definitely recommend Jenny V and I don’t have to keep searching!

I went in Asking for full foils for blond highlights matching the blond bottom of my hair, walked out with full light brown with slight highlights that look like they came from a cap. Charged for a dual treatment so not what I asked for and $100 more than quoted. I was so in shock and complete disappointed that I just paid and left. They did cover the grey which was the biggest issue but booked another apt as soon as I got home with another company to fix and actually make me blonde. With all the great reviews I guess I just felt to much trust with my stylist. But never have I had full foils blonde be a complicated request at any other salon

My stylist Jocelyn is the absolute best. She is professional, efficient, friendly and SO talented at what she does. I could not be happier with my experience. It took me a long time to find a stylist that I loved and I am so impressed and happy with the results! I have long, blonde hair and she does an amazing job, every time. Thank you Jocelyn!

Do NOT book for blowouts here - every stylists decides if your hair is long or short

A short hair blow out is $35 - which they say takes 45 min - I booked that as my hair only takes 15 min to was and dry (I’ve timed it) Jenn G charged me this price on Wednesday

BRANDI - same salon, 2 days later says my hair Is long and wants to charge me $48! Even after telling her I just had it done 2 days ago at $35

Needless to say, I said NO WAY! And left and will NOT BE BACK!

Go see Jenny V! She is an amazing at what she does! She completely fixed my colour when another stylist had incorrectly matched my colour. She always gives me professional advice. I trust anything this woman says when it comes to my hair! I will follow her anywhere. She’s also the sweetest human on the planet!

Ive been going to Jenny V. For many years now and will follow her wherever she goes! She does an amazing job with my cuts every single time. If you are looking for a reliable and consistent stylist, look no further.

This was my first time in Chatters, my stylist Losa was very rude and impersonal. She didn't make any eye contact, let alone greet me. She made little attempt to find out what I was wanting other than how many inches to cut off. She washed my hair in a very rushed and abrupt manner. She did a few simple snips with a blow dry. I would give this stylist a zero for customer service. I was very disappointed with the whole experience and will definitely not be returning.

I have been getting my hair done by Jocelyn at Chatters Beacon Hill for over two years and could not be happier! My cut and colour always comes out perfectly - and I always get tons of compliments on my hair. Jocelyn is friendly and professional - as are all of the staff at this location. Go see them!

I absolutely love seeing Jocelyn for my blonde. Jocelyn is the only hair stylist that perfected what I like. I have tried many other salons many of high end status and with out a doubt would prefer chatters and Jocelyn’s excellent service any day

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! Dont ever go to chatters.
I went a day before my apointment to make sure there is not going to be hidden fees also to show them picture of what i wanted.they said its ok we can do it just come tommorrow.i went and my stylist was still working on last client.she just came to check on my and then vanished for another 20 mins.after that stylist said we cant acheive color A shown in picture.she consulted for a long time with assistant manager JENNIFER and came back with a picture of color B that could be achieved.i agreed to color B.when service was done they charged me $90 extra and the color was neither A nor B.it was 100% same what i had before.i wanted to get ASH white but after the apointment my hair was Golden highlights exactly what i went in with. No change what so ever.when asked about charges she said oh your hair is long.even though my apointment was for long hair with FOIL and color.yet she charged me extra for long hair. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER AND RUDE PEOPLE AT THIS PLACE.stylist was still trying her best but what good is it if she could not achieve what she promised me. BAD BAD BAD EXPERIENCE.

I had very bad experience in beacon hill chatters. The very very bad quality service. I was expecting to get good service like bad quality shampoo and not using at all conditioner. Like I wouldn’t suggest you to go there. I went to my niece wedding and they made my hair very bad. I would never give even 1 star. It is just name nothing else. Below 0

I've been going here for years and have never been disappointed. My most recent visit (yesterday) included the staff very kindly and professionally dealing with an out of control 3-year-old who was spreading bright pink nail polish far and wide. My cut and highlights were excellent, as usual, thanks to Sarah.

1st time I asked for was a balayage and it wasn’t what I wanted but it was okay. Went in there the second time, thought they were gonna make the highlighted part lighter. Instead they bleached my entire hair the second time. So the third time I went instead of them just apologizing another lady told me that it was fixable It was not. They ruined my hair pretty much. Manager toned it once and that looked okay for about 2 days. I got a Refund only for the time the really messed up.so now I have had orange hair for approximately 2 months.not impressed or happy.would not recommend. I have a full time job so I really don’t have time to deal with bad hair or hair appointments.

Found a place that specializes in color correction and everyone who works there knows how to color correct. Probably cost around $400 to fix tho. Rip my hair.

Everyone in the Salon is friendly, it's clean, affordable and all stylists are prompt on time and very experienced. Kristen is my main reason I come to Beacon Hill. She's awesome! She's a lovely person and an excellent stylist. We've been working on my color for a while and have achieved a result I only dreamed of.

I had a good experience here. Booked a last minute appointment as my regular hairdresser was away. I was very impressed. The only thing I was disappointed with was the fact that the lady rewatched my hair even after I told her my hair was freshly washed, in fact it was still wet. Then I was charged for a wash and cut️

My wife used to bring our girls here for haircuts. Today I brought my daughter in to get her bangs trimmed. Seemed like a good way to keep customers (free trim), but "10 minutes" turned into 30 with no word or apologies. We left with 3 women standing around the counter. They couldn't care less. I will no longer care to spend a dime with this poor excuse for a business!
Update: spoke to customer service and they were quick to reach out and try to smooth over problems. Let's see how they do next time.

My stylist took her time and gave me an incredible haircut. She didn’t rush me in or out. At chain brand hair salons it often feels like they are just trying to get a quota, here it felt like they actually cared about providing quality service. I highly recommend.

Was in between hair stylists and tried this as it is close to my house. The service was very inexpensive and my stylist was nice, offered me coupons, etc.but she unfortunately smelled very strongly of cigarette smoke and my dye job was so bad that it ended up costing me more to fix it.

Sarah has always been the best stylist. She always provides excellent service. The counter staff are always friendly and helpful too.

I don’t know if these guys are ever going to get my hair colour right. I go in to get my hair dyed every couple of months and every time I leave all the whites are not covered, my hair is different colours. I have complained many times to the receptionists, the front and back managers, the hairdressers. Nothing is getting done. I’m upset and frustrated.

Very happy with my new haircut, the stylist was very professional. She listened to what I wanted but made great suggestions in regards to what would work with my hair type etc.

Finally a good and cost effective place to get hair done in the North West side of the city. Thank you Losa for the great haircut.
