Not very good at all… the male hairstylist with short hair told me I “ didn’t wash my hair enough”… when I have wavy hair and there was product in it.

He kept asking me what I used in my hair and then dismissing anything I said… I get they’re trying to make conversation and give some level of hair education? But like I’ve had the hair on my head for my entire life and I certainly don’t need it mansplained to me.

I asked for a trim and to soften my layers a LITTLE bit at the front. He took that to mean thin my entire hair out. I have thick but fine hair I did not need my entire hair thinned out.
He checked with me about the length of the bottom before cutting it but not about how much he was going to cut my layers and just started cutting them. I already have layers I just wanted the front section retouched slightly.
It was already too late to fix by time I saw a three inch chunks of hair on the floor.

After thinning out all the extra layers he added that I did not want, he didn’t check to see if anything was even or choppy.and just assumed his work was “ perfect” now the bottom of my hair is so thinned out it’s flat and the over thinned top layers that are there are choppier than what I came in with.

He came across as very arrogant and condescending. I did not need a lecture or the volume of my hair cut in half I needed a trim….

After he was finished his “ masterpiece” he blow dried my hair.in the process this “ professional” burned me twice because he was using the flat blow dryer attachment to dry my hair… I’ve never had a hairstylist dry my entire hair that way nor have I ever been burnt before this time.

This hairstylist does not listen to clients, he is condescending and arrogant and should not be trusted with a trim or to blow drying someone’s hair…

ladies if you see a short haired man waiting for you at the salon chair I suggest you just leave.your hair will thank you:)

Extremely poor service. Had booked an appointment for my son’s first haircut and asked them prior if they can handle kids, they say they will book a professional. Hairstylist was making faces while my son was crying. She even asked us, if he is ur own kid? And also says, it is difficult to cut his hair if he is not cooperative.how baby can be cooperative? Why they appoint someone who can’t understand kids and their feelings? Not suggest to take ur kids there.

I have never once had a bad experience at this salon, despite some of the other reviews. Kelii is the best stylist I've ever had! I always leave feeling so good about myself and get so many compliments on my hair. It never feels like it takes long to get my hair done and enjoy every minute with them. I highly recommend Kelii and this location!

Went in for a hair cut appointment, I’ve been going to chatters for years and decided to try this location for it is closer to my house. My appointment was for 9am and they didn’t open the store till 9: 20, no apologies for making me stand outside waiting for their error. Then to tell me that the length of my hair was going to take longer and that he only had 40 minutes between me and the next person. I did not want a rushed hair appointment and didn’t have my service completed here. Never had such rude, unprepared appointment. If they had opened at normal time and had my appointment not been late twenty minutes my hair appointment would have happened and not been rushed. Don’t book appointments if you can’t have your stuff together for opening time. So disappointed. Never going back.

Went in to get my hair styled for an event. The stylist did a great job and I was happy. The front desk however was quite rude. When I called on the phone to book I was told $50 or possibly a bit more if it takes over an hour. Appointment was 25 minutes. When I went to pay I was charged $70. Confused I said I was told around $50 on the phone. I spoke with the associate who booked the appointment and I said I was told $50 on the phone. She kept saying “I wouldn’t say that. ” As if I’m making up the price. After checking the price she confirmed that the appointment I booked was $53 as I didn’t request the stylist and she did in fact tell me $50 on the phone. Be up front with your prices…No apology and staff seemed annoyed with the questions. Will not be back.

Poor customer service. Went there for hair colouring to prepare for a special occasion two days later. Upon returning home, I noticed my hair wasn’t properly dyed - there were too many grey roots visible and the staff died the roots way darker than the rest of the hair. I called them and asked them to fix my hair but they flatly refused to do so for the next two days. I am very disappointed.

Took my daughter in for a cut, haircut was fine but they charged for a long hair advance cut which is there most expensive cut. My daughter's hair barely touches her shoulders and just needed her hair style touched up. Be aware before you sit down cause they'll overcharge you just to see if they can get away with it. Can trust anyone these days.

Amazing customer service and value! All the staff at this location are exceptionally kind and accommodating. I highly recommend them.

I got my hair done here by Kelli and Kendra, The two stylists were super courteous and professional throughout every step of styling my hair making sure all my hair needs were met. I really appreciated amazing service from these two. Hair is super important to my identity and self esteem, and I am thankful that these stylists were so accommodating and understanding of my needs when I had said I wasn't entirely happy with my first styling. They offered a complementary touch up and both of them did a fantastic job!

Yu Mi did my hair for a wedding last weekend. She did a fabulous job - she picked an updo style that suited me and stayed in all day and night. I even slept in it and wore it the next day. She made me feel like a million bucks!

I have been going to chatters for quite a while now as does my girlfriend and children. Danielle is absolutely amazing. I have allergies and she took time to learn all bout them and work with me. My hair is stunning everytime I leave the salon. I highly recommend her as a stylist. I know with covid things have changed a lot for everyone but lately I've notice the prices have increased which I can understand but the floors have been ripped out due to water damage and haven't been replaced. Not a good look. Salon needs a face lift. Plus you cant get a coffee or even water anymore. I spend 3-4 hours in the salon at time. I liked those perks as many salons offer them. I would give all my stars to Danielle

Jay was great. He listened to what I wanted and it looks great. Plus he gives the best head massages while washing your hair!

Called in and booked an appointment on August 13,2021. When I was on the phone, I was asking and making sure my appointment is booked. Because I have lot of business appointments coming up this week. Showed up at the location at 9 am sharp, was told by the manager I wasn't booked and there was nothing she could do. I walked away desperately. Called her back and told her how upset I was. She end up tried to help. But still, very unprofessional reception. I end up have to call around other hair salon because today is my only free day. End up booked with Diva.

I called at 9am on a Wednesday, and the friendly staff had us in by 1130 am the same day for a consultation on color correction for my teen who had a bad mishap with a box dye. We met with Harvey, and got really solid advice on how to proceed, a very reasonable quote on cost and he even stayed later than scheduled to squeeze us in right away. The results were amazing, especially considering the condition on arrival, and we have a very happy teen! We definitely recommend Harvey, and the kind staff at this Chatters location and we will be back for sure!

This business is well organized and gives a very good service. Unlike many other salons, the Chatters Hair Salon is open every day and for the full day, so you always can find time to come there. You also can find many hair stylists in this salon. I made an appointment with Oliver. He was very nice and calm young man who was listening to what I wanted and did a great job! Will definitely come back! Thank you Oliver for the haircut and Chatters Salon for giving such a nice service!

I always like going to this salon. The staff are super friendly and of course I got a Great cut from Jay.

Was greeted as I walked in and helped right away. Oliver was my hairstylist, he was friendly and did a wonderful cut and blow dry.

Went in to find a new hairdryer with very specific needs for the low setting to be quite low for my curly hair. Staff let me plug in a few and see how the low setting was so I wouldn't have to return if it didn't work for me. Excellent customer services. I was very very impressed!

Huge selection of hair care products. I mean huge! Mostly women's stuff but some men's supplies.

Never go to this saloon. Anita was rude to me. I was booked with her but left the saloon without any job done. Wondering why they are not busy.

Maryum was above and beyond. She cut my hair beautifully as well as taught me some hairstyling and hair care tips and tricks. Towards the end of my visit, she even walked with me around the store so that she can show me which products she think would work best for my hair. It was my first time at Chatters but will definitely come back!

Love this place! If you also want a killer haircut ask for Maryum! She is forever my hair dresser, I love her!

First visit bringing one of children. Staff are well trained, professional and knowledgeable. Store has everything my wife or daughter would need for their hair care. Store is well laid out, not cluttered. Well priced on the top hair brands. As a know nothing dad, staff are very helpful.

Maryum did a great day yesterday on layering my hair. It looks wonderful and better than i had imagined but not only that, she is very polite and generous person. She always made sure i was comfortable or if i had any questions she was able to answer them all. She clearly knows her stuff very well. I recommended her to anybody who decides to do their hair.

I am not the type of person who writes reviews. However, I feel like everyone should know what an amazing stylist Maryum is. I always find that most hairstylists don't listen to the customers needs and wants, they just try to prove your judgement wrong and have the worst attitude. But i felt like Maryum really listened to me, I am so happy she's back from her vacation because the salon is not the same without her. She always brings my imagination to life. I recommend her to all my friends and family. She gets the job done exactly the way you want!

I’ve came to chatters before and i’ve never been treated the way Maryum had treated me. She was so very polite and patient with me whenever i asked questions and she did a wonderful job on doing my hair. It looks exactly as i imagined. I recommend her to everybody, she’s an amazing hairstylist and knows what she’s doing!

I am graduating this year and I know last year a lot of my friends who were graduating got there hair done by a stylist named Maryum. I work as a lifeguard at a rec center and my hair gets exposed to chlorine a lot which is why I am so embarrassed of my dry and frizzy hair and i am always hesitant to go to salons. Maryum was so helpful, she made me feel comfortable and gave me great tips to help maintain my hair. She also recommended certain hair products for me that have been very effective so far. She gave me an amazing cut and I can't wait to come back again and get my hair done by her for grad!

Great experience. Took the time to talk about my hair and what I wanted before I even made an appointment. Then at the appointment was very clear and did a great job on my curly hair. Also a very nice person (Danielle). I left very happy with the cut. I will definitely be going back.

Agatha does amazing cuts for curly hair. My hair is very thick and I find her cuts grow out really nicely.

I got the best service after 2 years of not going to a salon. Having curly and thick hair can be very challenging for most hairstyles. That’s why I didn’t go to a salon. After my leap of faith and zero expectations, I met Agatha God send saviour. She knew what my hair needed and how to handle, the results were remarkable. I’m glad I found a salon and great hairstylist I can trust with my hair. Please try out this salon and ask for Agatha you’ll not be disappointed

Jay gave me such good service!
He listened to what I wanted and definitely delivered! I have natural medium neutral brown hair (virgin), have not dyed my hair in 5 years because I was growing it out. I was very picky and showed jay I wanted subtle balyage with a color just 2 shades lighter than my own to create a sunkissed look. He kept my length and gave me an amazing bronzed goddess look! I'm in love with my hair! Thanks Jay!

Danielle has been working at this location since 2018. I get cuts and colours from her and she is so consistent! I love my looks and her personality. Amazing experiences here!

Definitely my favourite location. I frequent this location often and Jenny always provides the best customer service. She greets me each time with a smile and is very knowledgeable with different products and lines. A well deserved 5 stars!

I got a great haircut and styling by Agatha. She used Marocconoil products which I was very happy about.

I went to chatters.they bured my hair by joy and i told him to root my hair but he runied it and i started to lose my hair and they should not even 1 rate because they are trash same as joy and i prefer to other people not to go to chatters

Been going to this location for years. Beverley is awesome. She is the first hairdresser to cut my hair in a way I like, I can style, looks good. She listens and understands what I want, and how to get my very fine hair to look good. Everyone at this location is so nice and helpful with their recommendations.
