The ladies and gentlemen here really know what they're doing, and it's good to see that there's always ongoing training in their salon to improve their skills and knowledge.

We've seen a few of the stylists since moving to Red Deer and never been disappointed with how our hair has turned out. Budget friendly, knowledgeable stylists, and very clean. The price of the products leaves a little to be desired but they often have sales.

Jonnie did a fantastic job with my highlights and my cut. He is patient and takes the time for a consultation before beginning. His head massage was the best I've ever experienced.

I been with them so many times to get hair cut, Color hair and so on. They do great job and they are really nice.

The guy who cut my hair did an awesome job. Everyone there is very friendly. Will definitely go there again for my next haircut.

I went in for a haircut, I have long hair so expected it to take time, but I was in and out in 20 minutes! No wash, no checking with mirror to see if it was liked. For the price I paid, I was extremely disappointed! I will never go back! In my opinion, when a woman goes to a salon, they want to feel pampered, not felt like a number that was just filling a spot for a stylist.

Didn’t leave happy.
I have a blunt Bob with layers and I had it tied back, I said I wanted about an inch cut off/ thinned out too, and my bangs trimmed.
I wear my hair with a side part too.
My hair was washed, dried and then the hairdresser started to thin and trim.
However it was then cut with a centre part and the hairdresser started to cut my bangs across.
I then had to tell him I wear my part on the side. Isn’t this usually something I should be asked?
He did ask if I wanted it straight or curly at the end, I asked for straight.
But rather than a modern use of the straighteners I got the lovely rounded ends.
I know that once I wash it myself and straighten I’ll do it the way I like… but I was extremely disappointed with NOT being asked anything.
Yes, I should have been more upfront but surely from the previous cut the hairdresser would be able to tell the shape etc…
Plus even though my hair was tied back, I still had the side part and side bangs.
So as you can tell, not a happy customer.

Larona was amazing, she was so patient and friendly, my son had such a beautiful experience, as he's really not a happy camper getting a haircut. It was his birthday and this was the first time he left a hair salon smiling. Amazing and helpful, will definitely come back to see Larona. All the guys at the salon are awesome, did such great work on my kids haircuts, will definitely come back.

Sent my wife in for a hair cut and colour. She is a special needs mom and only gets her hair done twice a year. She asked for something permanent and knew that she doesn't get much time for self care. She got it done beautifully but then it faded in 2 weeks. When we called to I quite they said fashion colour fades and demi gloss lasts longer. So instead of letting her know her options and then deciding they chose to do her hair in a way that wouldn't last long. The customer service was lacking and unapologetic, Would not help in any way. For a family that spends most of their money on their child's needs, splurging for a hair colour and cut twice a year is a big deal.
I would not recommend chatters chain to anyone anymore. I'm actually shocked at how they seemed to try and milk more money from people by touch ups and not educate them on their options. Not a professional approach at all.
A couple days after it was done vs just under 2 weeks.

Emily did my hair today, I received a full Colour application, I have short hair.
Before coming here I had aweful hair trauma and have had many bad experiences else where but I decided to give chatters a try and I’m glad I did! Emily was understanding of what I have been threw and she did a great job on fixing my hair… I’d recommend anyone to come here for a cut and colour! The staff is kind and professional and they do a fantastic hair!

My little brother went here for a haircut on August 5th and it was done so horribly he broke down the second he left. He can’t recall the name of the stylist but it was a gentleman with blonde hair who cut it.

My brother has very thick curly hair which is hard to manage and if a stylist is inexperienced with curly hair like that they should say so at the beginning of the haircut.

He asked my brother if he wanted an undercut to which my brother said no, he would like a fade and specified which guards he wanted used on his sides and the top of his hair to be trimmed down. The stylist did not listen and gave him an undercut and a severely uneven cut at that.

If it would let me post pictures I would share how awful the under side of the top hair was. He paid $60 for a hair cut he didn’t want, and felt very uncomfortable saying anything at the time as he’s only 14 and still a CHILD.

Paying that kind of money on a child is obscene but to not even get what he asked for and then having to go somewhere else to have it fixed and pay again is a bit ridiculous.

I hope in the future you employ better trained stylists, or at least train them on different textured hair. Will not be going back.

First time here and it deserves less than 1. Booked online for a long hair cut. Said 45 mins to 1 hour for $56. I ended up going to Jonny who apparently can only do a dry cut and was in the chair and done within 17 mins. He never spoke 1 word to me. His comb and scissors were taken out of a drawer full of hair and never cleaned before starting my haircut. The only thing that came out of the barbercide was a hair clip. I should have gotten up and left then but I didn’t I left with a choppy haircut that wasn’t blended at all. I told the asst manager what happened and she apologized with no care to fix the situation except to give me $5 off the hair cut. I’d advise going somewhere else for a better hair experience.

Have been seeing Brandy for several years! She knows exactly what I want and delivers on a consistent basis! Got in with Ladawn for my latest colouring and had an excellent experience as well! A little sad that the fashion colours I chose this time won’t last as long as other dyes, but wanted to go a bit more funky this time! Will continue coming here!

I went in today for a haircut and was very disappointed with the end result. I was as clear as I could be when describing exactly what I wanted to my hairdresser and explained and demonstrated with my hands at least five times how my hair usually looks and how I wanted it to fall when it was done. I came in for my hair to be cut to just passed my shoulder and curtain bangs and left with straight across bangs and a Bob. I am so unbelievably disappointed and the man who cut my hair did not seem to care about what I wanted, was quite aggressive when moving my head instead of simply asking me to tilt it up or down etc. He also seemed very annoyed when I asked for touch ups and I left after the second round of trying to tell him what I wanted because it was clear he just wasn't getting it. I do not plan on returning here and hope my hair grows out quickly so it can be fixed.

Went for a trim. Haircut was fine but the price was completely out to lunch. Was in there maybe 15 minutes and they wanted nearly $60. Definitely lost this customer. Will be using a private hairdresser from now on.

Have been to both locations in Red Deer, and this second time, I was charged a full $56 for no wash or blow dry, no styling afterwards. My basic trim took the guy all of 15mins. And he took off way more than what was needed. Grr. Why there is nonpricing for a basic trim. With no wash/blow dry/styling afterwards is beyond me. Especially in these times. Never again.

Edit: it took all of 15minutes to get in the chair pay and then leave.

I came here in March to get my hair cut after 5 years of cutting my own hair. I was really excited to have it professionally done, as I have an under shave on each side of my head, which I wanted reshaved and long hair on top that I wanted styled a little differently.

The service was awesome besides one part, my hairdresser tried to convince me to grow out the shaved part because it is "boyish".

I didnt come here to be judged for my style or to be convinced out of it. I came here excited and left disappointed.

I dont reccomend coming here for alternative hairstyles unless you want to feel insecure for it:/

Well it's always a pleasure to see my lady Elissa and she is always up to changing my look. I’ve been going to Elissa now for about 14 years now. Couldn’t even go to anyone else when I moved away. Now being back I’m still back to her.

The young man who cut and styled my daughter's hair, was awesome. He knew what he was doing, cut and styled exactly as we asked. Excellent cut:)

Callista is amazing, she listened carefully to what I had in mind, made some great suggestions and checked in with me often throughout the service! She was very professional and efficient and so kind! I love my hair, it turned out even better than I had imagined with her suggestions! She's got a client for life, highly recommend her! I can't wait to go back!

I had a root touch up and trim. My stylist was Edwin; and he did a fantastic job!
I was very impressed with how meticulous he was in my root touch up. I didn't have color where it wasn't supposed to be. I was pleased about that. (ears, face or worse yet, on my clothes.)
Edwin is amazing with the scissors! I wanted very little taken off; and he did a beautiful job in blending my layers!

Wouldn't reccomend. You would think black tax would not be okay in this day and age. Also did not do a good job on my son's bone straight hair. Do better.

Hannah is amazing, always on time, knows my likes and dislikes. Love my time there. Friendly staff.
