I had the extreme pleasure of experiencing a haircut and styling with Pear today. I was looking for a new stylist as my long standing, very experienced stylist, is retiring. It is a daunting task to find a stylist who listens, discusses options and executes a cut, with proper skills. I am used to a quality technician and after reading so many wonderful reviews of Pear, I decided to make an appointment. She listened to my requests and the difficulties that my thick, slightly curly hair, can give me. Pear executed a beautiful cut, taking the time to texture the layers to ensure they lie smooth. She used her phenomenal blowout skills to ensure all the layers complied with the style line then she went back in with her scissors for further finishing. I am thrilled with the quality of her technique and the finished results. I believe I have found my new stylist. She may be listed as intermediate on Chatters experience level but she has Master skills. Thank you Pear. See you soon. Gwen

I’ve been going to Pear for my hair needs for quite a few months now and I always leave the salon with beautiful hair. Pear truly cares about her clients and goes above and beyond. You can tell she is very passionate about what she does and loves making her clients look their absolute best.

The ladies at the front desk are also always lovely and create a welcoming environment. 10/10 would recommend this salon:)

Maddie was a pleasure to have an appointment with. Was very sweet and made me comfortable throughout my appointment. Super easy going and nice to chat with during my service. Right off the bat we did a consult as it was my first time there and went over pricing, which I appreciated as not everywhere does that or they'll give you an "estimate" and it'll be way more than anticipated. I have a lot of hair and she never made me feel like it was an inconvenience or a lot of work as other salons have. She's knowledgeable and kind. Will definitely be back to see her:)

I recently came to this location for the first time in August 2022, I was greeted with a warm smile by the wonderful stylist Pear. She provided me with extensive information about hair care and explained in detail how she would do my highlights and verified with me multiple times that she was doing what I wanted. I’ve been to many different stylists and have never gone back to any, as they charge insane prices for things I don’t want, and I am never satisfied with the result. Pear is the first stylist of many that I would recommend and come back for, she makes sure I get everything I want with my hair and is a great conversationalist! Pear doesn’t push products or unnecessary treatments which is great! She is a very understanding and sweet lady. She has done my hair perfect every time, when booking your appointment at this location please choose Pear. You will not be disappointed! Thank you Pear for the consistent amazing service:)

I go to so Pear at the East Hills Chatter. She is AMAZING and passionate about her craft. She really cares about making sure you’re getting what you want and loves to make you feel and look beautiful! She’s gentle with your hair and very friendly. As a natural “red head” it’s been hard to find a good hair dresser who “gets” your hair and isn’t afraid to work with it. I will continue to book with Pear for my hair needs. If you’re looking for a great Christmas hair-do or colour, I highly recommend booking in with Pear now!

WOW! I have never had so many compliments on my hair. I went in to cut 6” of my long unruly hair. They did foil highlights and darkened my base colour by 2 shades. Friends constantly comment on how great it looks. I even have strangers stop me on the street to ask how they “get my hair” I tell them book at Chatters East Hill, best staff, best services, best value! Thank you so much Chatters East Hills! I love this location. All the staff are super friendly and very helpful with all my colour questions. The girl with brand new hair with green and orange in it was absolutely wonderful at helping me pick out my colour. I look forward to coming back here!:)

Pear is the BEST hairstylist I have ever had. She puts so much effort into her work and truly cares about her clients. Everyone should go to her without hesitation. My mom brought my daughter here for a pixie type haircut as her hair was already pretty short and we just wanted a cleaner cut and appropriate for a 9 year old girl. What she got is nothing like what she wanted, it’s uneven, it’s choppy and we are not satisfied at all. When the stylist was done the cut, she slathered on a bunch of hair gel so we didn’t notice how awful it really looked til she washed her hair that night. I don’t think we’ll be coming back here.

I had an appointment booked for 3PM, complete with a confirmation email also saying 3PM.

I arrived, and was told that my appointment was at 2: 45, and now someone else was scheduled in my appointment time.

I was then made to wait to be seen until the time my 3PM appointment would have ended.

Nobody could explain to me what happened, and nobody was apologetic.

Pear is an amazing hair stylist very very happy with my hair and took the time to explain every step I will go back again and recommend pear to everyone I know

Really disappointing! Switched Chatter locations as my regular hairdresser was no longer there so I tried someone new at the Easthill location. Very inexperienced did not get at all what I asked for.which wasnt much, I just wanted it brightened up for summer. She used the wrong toner turned out darker than when I walked in. I dont mind paying the high price of 193.00 if I come out with what I asked for. Then she did not even style my hair, just a quick blow dry not even a proper blow out. I let management know via text survey and nobody even bothered to reach ou to me. I should have said 1 star but the stylist was sweet just young and inexperienced.

Maddie is a amazing hairstylist knowing how to make the perfect tone of purple I wanted for my highlights. She is also really good at making me feel relaxed and comfortable. IMaddie!

My daughter got her hair bleached here for the first time, she got several blisters on her scalp, the girl who did her hair was very nice and kind but she needs more knowledge.my daughter has had her hair bleached many other times and this had never happened.
I got my hair color and cut done as well by a different nice girl and it came out super cool, but when she bleached it she was supposed to leave it for 15 to 20 mins, she left it for more than half and hr and never came to check it during that time, my tips were fried but luckily I got a cut and came out good.
I think in general they should be more careful with bleach. I would go back for haircut but definitely not for color.

Update March 24,2022: a year ago I sent the email and guess what.never got a reply.my daughter's scalp got permanently damaged and the hair she lost never grew back

I recently called Chatters East Hills and they were able to get me in for a haircut within 4 hours. I chopped my waist long hair into some choppy curtain bangs! My stylist Pear is amazing and spent 30 minutes on my hair ensuring ever strand was how I wanted it. They can recreate any photo. 5 stars! Check out Hair by Pear at Chatters. Attached are about 50% of the product they carry (it's massive in there) and my bangs. (The color is grown out and was not done by Pear). OH and BTW the total cost was $10.50!

This review is a bit overdue. My stylist was Mehwish and I had her the first time in summer 2020 and I have to say I suck at describing what I want exactly in a haircut, Mehwish was able to anticipate what I wanted and that is rare to find in a hairstylist. She was amazing, professional, friendly and just super awesome. She also recommended some hair products which made my hair super healthy for months. I was so satisfied that I visited again couple weeks ago, she remembered who I was and gave me head massage which I desperately needed. She is so amazing and exrtraordinary. I will be coming to color my hair and for sure I will be choosing Mehwish to be my stylist. Overall this location of chatters is my favorite the staff is amazing and considerate and I am so glad I found a stylist that knows what I need.

My stylist is Pear. I have thick hair not easy to manage. She is so knowledgable in coloring and styling. I had many bad experiences before but she is amazing. Great customer service and very understanding towards clients needs. Strongly recommend if you have thick indian hair.

Totally disappointed by keratin hair treatment that did not even last 3 days, made my hair even more frizzy. PLEASE DONT COME HERE IF YOU WANT BETTER HAIR BECAUSE ALL THEY GONNA DO IS USE STRAIGHTNER ON YOUR HAIR WHICH YOU CAN DO AT HOME WITHOUT PAYING SO MUCH MONEY!

Staff is always very friendly, helpful and Andrew is very experienced with great personality. Won't l let anyone else cut my hair.

I had a great experience at the East Hills location. The staff were friendly right from the phone call, all the way to the salon chair. My stylist, Shennia was very knowledgeable, kind and professional, resulting in a wonderful visit. I will definitely be back!

I have visited this location of Chatters a few times. It feels like every time I go I get different stylist. Lucky for me I have nothing bad to say about any of them. They have all been very pleasant. They listen to my comments and / or instructions then do exactly what I want, even when I change my mind mid style. I have also had highlights a few times and was pleased with the end result.
The store itself is very clean and organized. In these uncertain times, everyone was very accommodating.
I will be back, Toni, said she can do grey highlights, to blend my natural color instead of the "been home for too long" look! I am looking forward to seeing her again.
If your looking for a place to do your hair, I highly recommend Chatters.

I called today to book for Wednesday and was pleasantly surprised to be given an 8pm appt for tonight. I had Joe, an apprentice, he's super sweet and he actually listened to me. Joe made me feel comfortable and we spent a few moments just laughing. I came away with an amazing cut n style. Everyone there were so kind and helpful. I definitely will go back and get Joe again. Both times i went there i had a great experience. So Did my daughter. It was very relaxing. I had the best stylist there is. Shes amazing. She k ew what i am heading towards and she knew what needed to be done. Love the fact my hair feels amazing and healthy after the steps i put it through.

Every time I come here. It's a good experience. I have a young daughter (inbetween baby and toddler) and if I have to bring her with me, the staff there are so fun and friendly too her, and try to keep her entertained while I get a cut! The staff are always very friendly and for the most part, Chatty with me. And I havent recieved a bad cut yet, and I hope not too.

I never thought I'd go to a salon called Chatters, but I did, and it was expensive. Thing is, you get what you pay for and my hair looks spectacular.

The reception staff are friendly and efficient, and the environment is welcoming and relaxing. My stylist, Evelyn, is an absolute genius. She listened to exactly what I wanted, did an excellent job and explained her processes well.

My expectations were mostly managed, except that the whole shebang cost about $100 more than what was outlined at the beginning of my appointment.

I'm happy with my perfect pastel hair though, so I can't complain too much. Will definitely return.

I went to Chatters East bills this afternoon and can’t stop raving. I have never been to a stylist that truly respects the amount of hair you want cut off. Ana was so nice and listened to exaclty what i wanted. My hair feels AMAZING. Everyone else was also so friendly. Will be back in a couple days to purchase some products! Can’t wait to get my hair cut with Ana again.i never thought i would say that in my life!
