Checkers Pizza & Kabab (Whyte Ave. Branch)

The food can be really good. Great pizzas and excellent donairs, the service is very unreliable though.

I ordered a delivery and after an hour was called back to be told they cannot deliver the pizza. Left me in a very frustrating situation with little time to arrange alternates.

Cleanliness of the store could also be better. When asking for cups they often give these polystyrene cups which have dirt caked on the bottom and hairs stuck to them.

We ate here 3 times during our stay on Whyte. Pizza by the slice was fresh, Calzone was amazing, vegetable samosas are fantastic and the Donair was super. Great staff and service. Highly recommended for lunch or super.

Great value and even better food.

I went to visit this place with a friend, the front counter lady was extremely rude. Her customer service was awful, she didn’t have any interest in serving us. This place practice discrimination The cleanliness of the place is very poor. Theres insects swarming the place and several dead ones. The bugs are on the ground and on the tables. At least 10 people I know stop eating in this disgusting place.
Don’t recommend don’t waste your money

Grab the full rotisserie chicken, comes with a ton of biryani rice, feeds a family of four for a $20, the sub and pizza are also amazing, any questions ask for "Ahmed"

One of the best pizza places in the city. Their halal beef options are great and the pizzas are loaded with toppings.
Meatlovers is a must try.
