My wife and I went for a late night dinner date and wanted only the best Chinese and we were so pleased with how hot and fresh and quality the dinner for one was for each of us - we absolutely loved it and can’t wait to come back - thanks!

Catered a lunch for our office for 25 people & it was delicious! Helpful with gluten allergies & food arrived hot! Ginger beef, sweet/sour chicken & salt/pepper squid was one of the best in the city! Highly recommend in Calgary!

Amazing Shanghai noodles. We’ve tried a number of places and Cherry Inn is by far the best for this dish. We haven't branched out too much, usually sticking to noodles and fried rice, but the quality is always good! It is our go-to chinese takeout place now.

Great lunch combo with plenty of items to choose from and for a very good price. Food is freshly made. Ginger beef was delicious. Recommended!

Always amazing food and steller service. It is one of the best small Mom and Pop ru restaurants I have been to. Will definitely recommend it and will definitely be going back.

Been going to Cherry Inn since 1987 and never had a bad meal. Great staff, great portions, and fabulous service. The best Chinese food anywhere.

Ate here last month and it was honestly the worst Chinese food meal I've ever had. I came in optimistic and hopeful from all the rave reviews but was very disappointed with my meal. Broccoli had a weird burnt taste or like it had been cooked in a dirty pan, it was pretty much unedible, the ginger beef was so chewy and the batter was doh'y the rice was bland and had just frozen mixed vegetables. It was also cold when I picked up on time and don't live too far. There are too many other great places to try so I will not be back. I hope this reveiw helps this business to strive for better.

Used to be good but the poor experience from my last two pickup orders here have soured me on this place. Problems such as missing items from my order, declining food quality, and problems with their online ordering system due to menu changes. Won't be coming here again.

Ordered a dinner for 1, was very excited based on the reviews but kinda skeptical cause it sounded like a LOT of food for $20. And it was a lot of food for $20. Not awful food, but not consistently great either.

Wonton soup was beautiful, had like 5 wontons and so tasty.

Spring roll was above average I’d say. Pretty good.

Sweet & sour chicken was very tasty but the chicken chunks were way too big for me. Not the end of the world. I’d still say it’s good though. (See edit @ the bottom)

Shanghai noodles were great, can’t complain there. There was something questionable on top of them idk if it was a mushroom of some sort or a weird chunk of meat but it was a very odd texture & I didn’t eat it.

Ginger beef is where ya lost me, it was very bad & disappointing. Not a good texture, the beef chunks were dry and tasted like the bottom of a deepfryer. And there was no sauce asides from a measly puddle under the beef? Very strange, not like any ginger beef I’ve had before. Didn’t eat it.

(Edited my review bc it was way too generous. Halfway through I gave up trying to enjoy the noodles/chicken. The chicken tasted oily but was masked by the sauce in the first couple bites. I wound up eating two pieces of chicken, maybe 1/3 of the noodles, finished the soup & spring roll but damn. That was disappointing as hell. Dropped to 2 stars and won’t be returning.)

Best mom and pop chinese restaurant. Been around for 40 years and personally have been a regular for 20 years. I love this place

First time at Cherry Inn was by far best Chinese food we've had in a long time
Would highly recommend
