The place is so relaxing. It is so peaceful here. It is good for those who like walking, a great place to have picnic and bond with friends and family.
I took a drive out to Chestermere Lake. It's a cute little day trip to enjoy an afternoon on the lake. There are picnic tables can use for lunch near the swimming area. The lake can get very busy. There are many food stores near by to choose from.
A wonderful spot to relax, play and mingle. I witnessed so much joy, so much peace. Seeing all models and makes of humanity united in a one, sandy spot with a beautiful lake; happy children running around with sounds of joy, loud laughter filling the air. Bright colours of umbrellas and multiple balls volleying around. The sand was so soft and very cooling to feet on that hot day. A place to frequent indeed! ️
Loved to do kayaking…. Was fun and would visit again … just one lil thing that I want is to have rentals on motorboat or jetski as well and that the beach should be expanded so that the rush on that small portion of land would be less.
I'm from Edmonton. Just visiting in Langdon. Went for a drive and found this beach. What a wonderful surprise on a hot day. There is steps in the lake which is great for kids each step takes you about a foot down. Great place to go if passing through
Gorgeous spot. Seriously. It's nice to have a free beach area with lots of seats, lots of walking areas, sand and water. Need more of these in Calgary and outside of it. ️
Had a great day enjoying the beach and water at the Chestermere man made beach. I think I'll be keeping a beach bag in my car for the rest of the summer so I sneak back out here on a whim!
Because of it's fresh air and also near of it you got what you want like Timhourtons gas stations found near this place also it's nice for children if they are with their parents.
This is a great beach to visit. Water is a little cold. Great for kayaking, paddle boarding and other water activities.boats and paddle boards are available for rent across the beach. Sandy beach is perfect to children to play. Parking is very closed. Bathrooms available here.
The lake itself is nice, I just wish it's wasn't 97% surrounded by homes. Only a few small areas of the lake are accessible for public enjoyment. BUT.the areas that are, they are dressed up really nice and there's a beach area too. A lot of people go there including from Calgary and surrounding communities. The town/city is growing and there are enough amenities to enjoy an entire day around there. The lake is big enough and popular for all kinds of boating, kite-boarding, other water sports and some swimming, and there are a few small festivals there too.
Good lake has sand and washrooms good place to relax has room for everyone in a good location beacuse the food place are right acrosss the street and chestemere water are cold but very recommended
