Really beautiful patio, great location. A nice spot to get a drink. The service was amazing. The food wasn’t my fav. We found it to be not as flavourful as we expected. The tacos and corn ribs were quite bland. The jalapeño poppers were the highlight of our meal. The wings were ok too. I’d go back for a drink on the patio, but would likely grab a bite somewhere else.
Very cute Mexican restaurant. Food was good. Would definitely recommend the Fiesta Basket and the cauliflower taco for starters. The service was excellent. The server was very attentive and very accomodating. Prices were a bit on the higher end.
I came a few times here and it's been one of the best restaurants I've ever been calgary. The food is just amazing, people is so polite! And everything is just so cozy. I feel at home when I eat there
I don’t usually give low stars but i think i should for this one. We came here at 1pm and ordered our food first with 4 people but they served other customers who came later than us with around 6 people, followed by other customers with 2 people and other customers with 2-3 people while we’re starving, that was already 2pm. Everyone had gotten their food and we’re still waiting for more than 1 hour. We’re told fajita would take longer to cook. That was such a bad experience and we won’t be back again.
Great food, nice ambience, friendly and efficient service. Can't understand why I waited this long to try this place. Will certainly be going back and excited to see they are on Skip the Dishes. I think I now know what I'm having for supper tonight.
Great atmosphere, great service, good drink specials. Pass on the food unless you're really hungry. We love flavourful, spicy Mexican food and this place was disappointing to say the least. Tasted a bit like cafeteria food (cooked and reheated).
Fun patio with great Mexican food. Got the nachos last night and the tortilla chips were crispy and the plating was pretty. We all had the mango beergarita which was delicious. Only issue was the service was slow with how busy they were but that was out of our waitresses hands. Can't wait to come back
The food was pretty disappointing, flavour wise. For burritos you are going to be much happier at Mucho Burrito or BarBurrito. As an aside, for the price they don't serve a lot of rice or beans with your dishes.
Still, the staff are very nice, the service was quick, and the venue is very pleasant.
So were the food more flavourful, and had better toppings (or just more might help), I would probably give it a 4.5 maybe 5?
Had suuuuch an amazing experience! Silvia was phenomenal as was all the other staff! Would absolutely recommend this sweet little spot to anyone! Thanks for such a lovely night ️
The pato space accommodates many people to the point that it wasn't enjoyable for me. I had a tuna and corn chip 'starter' for lunch. It was ok. Clever menu system using QR codes for COVID19 safety.
A great little place that sets the right ambiance and backs it up with awesome service. We came during happy hour and ordered a plate of tacos and a burrito mexicano. The tacos were pretty good with the standout being the yucatan for me. The bistec had great flavor, al pastor was just right but unfortunately the barbacoa was dry. The burrito was fantastic and we loved the verde they smother one side in. The $5 margarita was fair.it's a $5 margarita. Overall I would come back again to try some more of the taco menu and the delicious looking nachos we saw.
Lovely service and tasty food. They work really hard here to please you. Would have loved a patio seat on a hot day like this but happy to sit inside and support this family owned small business! Happy to see them busy and thriving after a tough year.
Store bought Margarita mix, mediocre food with premium prices. Even though it wasn't busy, service was below par. I don't think I will be back, there are better mexican places with decent prices.
Food was awesome. Service was fantastic. So glad we are 'Open for Summer' and great local restaurants like this survived with all the shut downs through the pandemic:). We will be back!
Not the best mexican food in town. I wish I had a picture to show you. The baked beans on the side of the dish looks like can bean. Not even cooked just dumped on the plate. Customer service was great, couple of waitress did pass by to see if we were ok. Food was very blend not at all authentic Mexican food. Not worth the price
Service, atmosphere and food portions are great! Fish tacos didn't taste as amazing as they looked. I would've preffered having a flavored sauce as a topping rather than the guacamole cause it made it bland. Will definitely try again by swapping the guac for a different topping!
Was really looking forward to this restaurant. The food was not good at all. We got the fish tacos, they were incredibly dry and tasted as though they were old and had been refried. There was no sauce on the tacos at all. We got enchiladas as well- they were bland, the sauce was dried on top- not appetizing. For dessert we had the tres leches cake, which was good, the churros were alright.
The only saving grace of our trip here was the nicely set-up patio and the lime margarita
Not sure if it's the same owners but the food wasn't that great. My wife ordered enchiladas with a side order of mole sauce. They said it wasn't part of the order so she had to order something else. I ordered the jalapeño relleno thinking it was the chilli relleno. It had 4 pieces of small chilli stuffed with cheese and bacon. Terrible
I went on may 17th 2021 and this place is BOMB couldnt sit at the patio due to covid but the food was still AMAZING, I ordered tacos and was amazed at the quality and quantity and cooked to perfection! 10/10 would reccomend for something new to try! I reccomend the Lengua taco. SO FIRE!
We went in on the first day of patio reopening and it being taco tuesday, we had to try the tacos. Very disappointed with the pork and the vegan tacos as the pork was very cold and chewy and the other one was very bland and tasted like soggy cardboard.
The chicken and beef tacos on the other hand were amazing. The wife had a virgin guava margarita which was delicious, i had a tequila on the rocks but the shot was poured very light handed.
