We had a great experience with this company replacing a failed window. When they came to replace our old window, they discovered the frame was rotting from water damage over the years. Omar and Richard has such attention to detail and fixed it promptly and recaulked the other windows that may have been affected by water damage. They were honest, courteous, and got the job done in a timely fashion. Jeremy was open and honest about the quote and let me know of potential issues (that thankfully never occurred). He got us scheduled in before the weather was about to change for the worse. I would have no hesitation in calling them again for any future window concerns. Well done!

We ordered 2 large picture windows with awning windows on the bottom. The third person to handle our order added a mullen to the upper portion without telling us and Chinook said that we had signed off on the order so if we wanted to have the mullen removed we could pay $2,000 per window to have it done.

Best place in town for hard to find door and window hardware. I get all my 10mm shower stall from them and their service is the best!

What the runaround from this company. First I need to get it approved from my property management and my condo board. Then I do and I book a day and time and I talk to the manager and they said oh we don’t need to have two times you come out we will all do it in one so Chris and Terry came out and Terry forgot the part that they needed to do it so they had to rebook so I rebooked and today Omar came out but he was not going to they phoned and the timeframe they said that someone was going to come out and they would have to cancel and I said OK then we’re looking after the May long weekend. You go and you try to call the managers, Jeremy or other people and nobody picks up the phone so pretty it was very good that I talk to so it’s either but I haven’t been happy with it and also the screens are very flimsy. They will not last for very long as vinyl. I am happy it is done.

Amazing! My dogs put a lamp through my front window, after calling around, chinook was not only the cheapest but also the quickest at 5 weeks, but after explaining I had a hole in my front window they had it replaced and installed in 2 weeks! The two gentlemen that installed the window were very professional and polite. Gave me a ton of information about windows and made it very comfortable to have people at my home doing work. All around beyond happy with the service! Highly recommended!

I've been to at least three or four other glass shops and they didn't have this special molding for an older building for a Storm door, but these guys had it in stock. Very surprised. Also great service and they cut it to size for free. Thanks again for your help. Would recommend to everybody!

Scheduled to have someone come out and estimate my broken window and he calls I was on a call and I call him 10 min later and he is all booked up for the day and then tells me what day would work better. Horrible why bother scheduling something please use another company.

We had a good experience with Chinook Glass for our gym mirror installation. There were a few issues along the way but the key takeaway was that they stand behind their product and ensure that the quality of the work is spot on. The Operations Manager was a large part of our positive review because he made sure any issues were taken care of to our satisfaction. For this reason, we will be a repeat customer in the future and promote this company for others looking for mirror installations. One caveat is that they are extremely busy so timing and availability within your schedule can be tight. That being said, they tried their best to help honour our schedule.

We just had Kevin and his team come and install glass for an office and shower and mirror in our home. The office door is such a beautiful feature in our home. Kevin and his team were efficient but paid attention to detail and wanted to ensure the door looked perfect, and included myself and my designer’s opinions during install. They were polite, respectful, friendly and very professional. They did our office door, bathroom shower glass install, and gym mirror. We could not be happier with the end results! It was done perfectly and we are so pleased with how high end it looks. Thank you so much Kevin for being so awesome! We love your work.

Came in for glass for our broken window and the sales person was very helpful with our questions. Unfortunately, the price were alittle too high for our budget so we had to go with a different glass store. Definitely a good store to buy custom glass from but expect to wait in line as the store is quite busy.

Carl did a wonderful job on coordinating a complicated closet door glass replacement. Can't recommend enough!

Great experience with the replacement of a glass shower door. Estimator was bang on with the measurements. Terry & Chris did the install. Two very professional and friendly guys. Left the place spotless. Chris even spent 10 minutes on his hands and knees picking up tiny pieces of glass I missed. Communication via email was great. Quote was on par with most other glass companies I checked with. Highly recommend Chinook Glass.

My mom had a few window large window panes replaced. The work order stated to save the stained glass inserts as I was too pick them up. Contacted the company on several occasions and did not get back to me. Finally after over a year find out they were disposed. Would think twice about getting any work done thru these guys.

Thank you for listening and coming up with a temporary solution until the new doors arrive. Appreciate the customer service after the initial mishap.

Amazing customer service. I was looking for a special window lock that is not available on any of the big stores. I showed the lock to a staff member and was helped right away with loads of smiles. Definitely great collection with amazing customer care.

I called Chinook Glass on June 22,2021 to replace the balcony sliding door tandem 1 inch roller and they were here the very next morning. They got it fixed in no time and now the door is sliding smoothly. Their price is reasonable and they are very knowledgeable. I recommend Chinook Glass & Screen Ltd.for their service. They did a good job on replacing the cracked mirror door for the bedroom's closet. Job was completed within the expected time window. Office and delivery staff were always available on the phone. So based on my experience giving them 5 stars and will definitely use/recommend them again.

My experience was fantastic. I locked myself out on my patio and resorted to breaking my door to get inside. Called Chinook and they came the next day. They fixed my door in less than a week; it looks like nothing even happened. Their invoice was very affordable. They did a great job, really happy I picked them.

Extremely happy with the service we received. Seemed like a very fair price for the obviously great expertise of the technicians that fixed our 40-year old sliding patio door (which I think was a pain in the butt, but the two guys didn’t miss a beat and ultimately got the job done).

Had to wait a while for our appointment, but glad we went with a company with high reviews as it seems like quite a few people have had bad experiences with companies.

Anyway, very happy with the service, the cost and the quality of the fix for our stubborn door. Highly recommend.

Had Chinook replace mirror glass in a hall closet door; they picked it up; took to their shop, repaired and re-installed all within a few days. Good service.

They cut and installed a replacement pane of glass for a vintage desk quickly and at a very reasonable price. It's nice to have the desk looking tip-top again. Would definitely recommend their services.

The front counter service was good. The timeliness were excessive for window repair. The front counter staff were professional but the phone csr was very rude when I called in to check the progress. I decided to buy the glass and install myself. They are very busy lately which was no problem. I would still recommend them as they provide an exceptional service.

Employees were very nice and professional. Price was very high we were told what the service call was but we were charged for 2 service calls, they had to take the door away to fix it and then a second call was charge when they brought it back. In my opinion, they installed this door less than 5 years ago, their files should have told them what parts they need to fix it. The almost 8 weeks it took them to do it was ridiculous. From the looks of it, the original hinge they installed was not strong enough to hold the door up.

Recently purchased and had a new window installed by these guys. So first off, I understand it's Covid, I understand that things are taking a bit more time than usual and that it's not always the company's fault for that however.this whole process took 6 weeks, and the company never called us 1 time in the 6 week period to keep us updated, or to tell us our glass had even arrived at the shop. WE had to call a few times, (almost being treated as an annoyance on the phone), to find out the status of our window. We even had to book our own appointment for the install, because these guys still hadn't called us even when the glass arrived in the shop! Just poor communication. The 2 stars is for the installers, I have to give them credit, they were pleasent and did a good job, and were quick. In these times, it might be helpful to change your sales strategy to cater to products you can more handily receive or are on hand, and could be accessed in a timely fashion rather than selling people something that's clearly either back ordered or out of stock.

I needed a few parts to a custom shower I was building for downstairs. I was surprised to see how many parts and types of door and window hardware they have. They helped me pick the right door sweep and recommended door stops.
Great service, knowable and very helpful. I recommend them and will be calling when ever I need parts or new windows and doors.

Inefficient, disorganized, rude.

It has been an extremely exhausting experience dealing with this company, especially with the person working for the scheduling department.

When we made the deposit, we were told that we would be contacted within 2-3 weeks. When we called back to follow up on our order after 3 weeks, the scheduling person expressed his annoyance that we were being impatient. Another 2 weeks of no updates, and after making numerous calls, it turns out that our order was forgotten. We were eventually scheduled for the installation without any apology.

On the scheduled day, the installer did not even show up. When we called the scheduling person, he treated us again in an extremely rude manner. He said he forgot to let us know that the installer had called in sick. The installer came the following day, but the work could still not be completed because he did not read the order properly.

After 3 appointments, the work still remains far from perfect. The installer left saying, “I could have easily finished it today but there’s no order for it. ”

Lastly, the crux of the situation that led us to write this review was that we felt like no one valued our business and their lack of remorse.

I was very satisfied with Chinook Glass for the recent repair of a rotted window sash. I assumed that it had to be replaced, but the fellow suggested a repair instead which saved me about 60% of the cost of a new one.

It was promised for the next day, and indeed the repaired window was ready for pick up the next morning.

When I picked it up the fellow gave me instructions on how best to re-install it, provided the necessary screws and offered to have one of his service guys visit and help if I could not install.

The guys in the back were very busy, but found time for this important repair so I did not need to go through a Canadian winter too long without a window. They even marked and pilot drilled the screw holes on the new frame pieces.

All in all great performance from a very busy shop! Well done!

Horrible customer service on the phone. I called to discuss 2 tempered shower enclosure glass for 2 washrooms along with the Custom Mirrors on the phone, and the representative asked me to contact Jason at Chinook. Now, how do you want me to contact Jason without providing any information? It seemed the person wasn't really interested in new business and hang up the phone. Now, I have no clue who Jason is and I am going to contact another company since they are not interested.

Chinook Glass & Screen recently fixed 4 of my older windows & cranks / mechanisms. I have to say that this experience from the start has been Spectacular. Jason was my initial contact & was very efficient & gathered all of my information. I received a call from Gordon within a day to book a convenient time w/me. Gordon Is Amazing! PRice is reasonable, service is friendly, quality is there. Easy to park. Takes a bit longer than expected for 4 basic screens but wasn't in a rush.
