Fantastic fun rafting experience. The tour guides were great. Definitely a good challenge but still very safe activity for the whole family.

Our white water rafting experience with chinook rafting was wonderful. All the staff including the shuttle driver, the host and all the guides were very friendly and made our experience memorable.
Our boat guide Georgina from Newzealand was exceptional. She is energetic, well skilled and social and we had a great time rafting with her.
Based on the level we chose I was expecting more wild rapids but overall the experience was great.

Loved the tour & our guide Tadhg was super funny! For me it was the first time rafting and I would definitely recommend it to everyone!

What an amazing day. The weather for our first rafting adventure was perfect. Our guide Jordan was fantastic. Loved his stories and his knowledge. Also an extra point for being from our hometown! I would recommend this fun filled day for any age. The whole crew was amazing from start to finish. Thank you and I will definitely be back for another run. Till next summer!

Chinook Rafting and our guide, Georgia S was amazing. We did the family friendly trip with our 12yo and 6yo and they loved it. The team at Chinook took great care of us and made sure we all had loads of fun. We would highly recommend Chinook to anyone looking for a fun family time on the water!

Second time visiting Chinook for the Horseshoe Canyon rafting. The staff are amusing and helpful and keep the day entertaining. There is a 10ish minute walk once dropped off on the bus to get to the rafts, followed by a steep 5ish minute climb to pull the rafts out and carry them up to the van. Photos are published for free on their website, or you can grab a memory stick with them on for $25 on the day. There are T-shirts, joggers, hoodies and caps available to purchase at the end of the trip which are good quality and reasonably priced (between $25 and $40). Richard was our guide this time and was extremely informative on the river, local locations and great places to eat and drink around Canmore and Banff. We chose Chinook for the rapids selection, the amount of time spent on the water and the value. Definitely check Chinook out if you’re looking for a rafting adventure, you won’t be disappointed.

It was awesome! Our guides name was Jo, and she was awesome! Definitely recommend doing this! Has the perfect balance of beautiful river, rushing rapids, and relaxing boating adventure?

I had to cancel my tour due to emergency and the company was so awesome. They understood my problem and cancel the booking and refund the entire money without any questions. Unfortunately I didn't got chance for the rafting. I will do soon once I get a chance. With them.

We had a great family experience on the Kananaskis River rafting with Chinook. Our guide was Tadhg and he was experienced, knowledgeable and a delight to be with.

Great place to go rafting for the first time! Informative guides, beautiful scenery and refreshing Rapids! A must try for everyone between the age of 5 and 99.
We had Josh as our guide and he was fantastic, as were all the other staff!

The staff was friendly and they explained in detail about our package and what to prepare aa it's our first time doing rafting. They also gave a group discount which was awesome.

My group & I went on the Kananaskis River which was at 200% and our guide, Tadhg was able to expertly navigate the high waters. He was very knowledgeable and ensured we had a great time. It was our first time rafting and we all felt safe. He was able to teach us how to row properly & safely, as well as, share historical information about the area. We were treated with light refreshments and snacks after our session which was a great delight. Overall, we had a great time and would highly recommend Chinook rafting.

Our family had an excellent time rafting with Chinook. We had an excellent guide who pointed out things along the way. The orientation was thorough, and the equipment was in great shape.

Had the best experience with Chinook Rafting! I was greeted with a smile, all the staff were so welcoming and they all just seemed so happy to be there, right from the bus ride to the end of the tour. My guide was Tim from Australia (or New Zealand maybe? I'm so sorry) and he was AWESOME! He joked with us and took the time to get to know each of the rafters. It totally made the trip (other than the fact we all got soaked which was AMAZING!). I highly recommend Chinook and if you get the choice, choose Tim!

We took our staff team for a white water rafting trip in June of 2022 and had an absolute BLAST! Chris, our guide, did an amazing job navigating the river while keeping us entertained with his commentary and jokes. This was a great way to bond as a team and a fun way to get out for an afternoon. I would highly recommend Chinook Rafting to anyone looking for a great staff event or group activity near Banff and Canmore. Thank you guys so much! We will be back.

Our group of nine from Saskatchewan ranging from age 5 to 66 had an awesome time white water rafting with chinook rafting. It was the highlight of our trip. Most of us hadn’t been rafting before but the guides explained all safety protocol thoroughly and made us feel confident and safe. Rachel was our guide and she was awesome. We would highly recommend chinook rafting for your experience of a lifetime.

This was by far the best experience and blew my previous experience out of the water. They gave us all the gear and outfitted us to be warm enough during our June trip. The kids are still talking about it and we have updated our vocabulary with the word “refreshing. ” Special thanks to our guide Gabriel for noticing all the things to make this trip memorable, fun and also comfortable for the kids. It was an epic adventure!

We had an amazing time. The whole team was engaging, friendly, helpful and professional from start to finish. In particular our guide, Chris, was awesome. Would whole heartedly recommend everyone to give this a try.
