Chocolaterie Bernard Callebaut / Chocolandia

Tried the cherries in fine liqueur. I can't stress how disappointed I was in these. The "cherry" inside was no bigger than the pit they include in their chocolates. Normally i love chocolate covered cherries but these were not even close to the cheapest you could buy in a department store which were by far way better than these. For the price for 8 cherries I can honestly say I won't ever buy these again.

We used to buy chocolates from here before they moved to their prepackaged chocolates that do not even compare to the Callebaut chocolates sold before the name was sold. The chocolates in house are unremarkable, waxy and tasteless. Don't waste your money. You are only buying the name. The quality is long gone. We purchased for friends at Christmas and bought some for ourselves. I'm embarrassed to think we gave our friends such cheap, waxy, tasteless chocolates. We would have been better off with Lindt and Ferrero Rocher or Purdy's. It's sad to see how far downhill this chocolatier has gone.
Definitely not recommended. Prices remain high, and you will not get what you are paying for. The in house truffles are just as unremarkable. Skip Callebaut and go to the Lindt store in South Common instead.

Unfortunately I won't be shopping here any longer. The lovely staff that were at the downtown location don't seem to work here. The website was horribly out of date and when trying to rectify the information, the staff were less than helpful. I wish I got the name of the staff member who did help me after as they were obviously used to being extra courteous to make up for their rude coworkers.

This place was very welcoming and I like the lively ambiance of their store. You would definitely find lots of chocolates here and I guarantee you would also enjoy the taste of their delicious chocolates. The rich flavour would definitely remain in your taste buds. The prices were good and I don't mind spending a few more dollars because I like their chocolates a lot.

Absolutely delicious chocolate. Tried the “Passionfruit caramel” and I’m in love! A perfect amount of sweet, and slight tanginess. The workers were so sweet and helpful in choosing chocolate flavours.

Definitely would come here to buy this quality chocolate in larger amounts. They have a very wide variety—something for everyone!

My opinion of this place sinks every time I complain about the ice and snow on their property and they do nothing. To get them ticketed and fined, contact the city at 311 or simply stop spending your money there.

Best cup of cocca I have ever had! Tried rose chocolate for the first time and it was amazing! The staff was so kind, friendly and helpfully!

This is a quaint little shop just in the bend of Jasper Ave and 124 St. Perfect for stopping by to have coffee and a croissant, pick up a few treats or gifts, or even to enjoy delicious gelato. Even in winter, this treat was to die for. I will be coming back again.

Monsieur Callebaut had been a part of the Edmonton chocolate scene for years but this store has a kitchen that delivers hot chocolate snacks to patrons along with offering all sorts of delicious chocolate.

I'm in love with Chocolate. I didn't go in and saved my diet for another day. Only the best chocolate in the world with a store, The Store, here in Edmonton. A tasty store that Tourists to Edmonton and even Alberta, shouldn't miss if visiting Jasper and the Greater Edmonton area

So good! After eating pralines in Belgium's Grand Place, chocolates in North America just don't measure up.until you have some Bernard Callebaut chocolates!

Wonderful store with very high quality chocolate. Amazing selection of ice cream! Quite surprising for December! Beautifully packaged gifts for Christmas.

Chocolate, chocolate, chocolate and more chocolate. I love chocolate. The best place for chocolate. It’s pricey but it’s not Walmart either. This is Bernard Callebaut some of the best chocolate anywhere. Did I mention great chocolate. There is also a coffee shop as part of the store with a wide selection of gelato. This is a great place for coffee and a chocolate or maybe a crepe. It’s clean and well lit. The staff is friendly and attentive. The washroom facilities are clean.

Amazing employees, you ladies are so kind and welcoming. We were blown away with the upbeat customer service. The location is awesome, on the edge of downtown very close to Planet Organic. The gelato was phenomenal. I didn’t know there were so many things on the menu - we will be back for sure! It’s quite spacious and there is outdoor seating as well. Plenty of free parking which is hard to find downtown. Definitely recommend trying the Callebaut Ruby gelato. I believe the lady said it was new!

This place never disappoints. The pure simplicity and elegance in presenting high quality chocolates and chocolate products is fascinating. Love the calm aesthetic, and super friendly staff. The hidden treasure there is their gelato! Exquisite flavors that are freshly made with the best ingredients. The hot chocolates are also incredible, especially with the added chocolate shavings on top. Blissful experience every time. Their newest innovation and addition to the world of chocolate is their Ruby Cacao (picture attached), quite interesting and staff are always happy to talk about how it’s special.

Coffee is always amazing there. But I'm not sure if any of the staff wished me a good day when I left or thanked me, and I am a regular. I made direct eye contact with one of them before leaving as well. I saw the same thing happen to someone else after that person had brought the empty glass and plate to the counter after throwing out the napkin from the plate. One of the baristas watched that man do all that as he did it to, and nothing as he turned to walk out the door.
But again, best coffee I've had hands down. And it's a chocolate factory!

This is my go to place for awesome Gelato and tasty Chocolate treats. The staff is extremely friendly and love to help you find that special chocolate creation for later.

Great place! The crepes are ohhhhhh sooooo f-ing good! They know their chocolates and they taste way better than any chocolates I've had. I come here as much as I can for fun dates with my gf and she loves the gelato. 100% recommend! The milk chocolate that they use on their crepes makes my mouth so watery as I type this review. I want one now.

Visually very impressive and good products. The gelato and chocolates are very good. However, avoid the crepes as it is not their specialty. It is tasteless (and so is the whipped cream with which they serve it)

Excellent product, and very good service. Visited for the first time to get a gift basket, and was provided with courteous and efficient service. The staff put together a custom gift basket for me that was tailored for the occasion and to the recipient. While there, I tried some of the chocolate - it was delicious! I will definitely visit again for both chocolate and espresso!

I've been coming to this beautiful store for over 2 years now and I still love it. Staff always has a smile on and they put so much love into everything they make for you here. Only thing I don't like is the fact that I can't tip on the debit/credit machine! They definitely deserve it. They do have a little tip jar but adding a tip on the machine is more convenient!

Very expensive place to get chocolate all those are chocolate is phenomenal their gelato is what I usually go for and boy is it delicious they make it in store and they have several flavors to choose from. They also make a fantastic hot chocolate and according to my husband of marvelous cup of coffee!

Amazing chocolates! What is also important: pretty good Americano (and I compare to places like District and coffee bureau) and delicious semisweet chocolate crepes.

Good chocolates, they have no real competition in Edmonton. They are now offering hot lattes but limited selection, no fancy drinks. Nice outdoor patio in summer.
