Great little place to visit! Small place so I would not recommend a large group go at one time. They have homemade pie!

Phenomenal food, I have came here since I was little and the consisent amazing food can not be beat anywhere else especially for the price. Servers are very kind as well as very knowledgable. This place is somewhere were I always recommend people go to eat.

We found our eggs bennies disappointing - salmon was extremely salty and the steak was fatty. They are served in a bowl on top of a croissant which just dissolves into goop, so the whole thing literally becomes a hot mess. I’m sure the hollandaise sauce was instant, but it was hard to tell for me because the salt taste was so strong. Hash browns were ok and the coffee wasn’t great. We would probably have been less disappointed if the reviews hadn’t been so surprisingly good! The place has a nice atmosphere though.

Hands down the best breakfast and launch spot anywhere in Alberta Or BC. My wife and I have eaten all over the world and this is one of our favorite places anywhere. If I'm driving within 500 km of the chuckwagon cafe I will make the detour to get the
Chicken club as it is juicy and tender and amazingly flavourful everytime without fail. The Benny's and seafood chowder are also phenomenal. Thanks for the great experience every time and please don't go a changin'.

This is a must stop on the cowboy highway down to Crowsnest past! Super friendly service and huge portions of breakfast.filled us up all the way to BC.

Wow. Can’t believe I stumbled across this place. Doesn’t look like much from the outside but don’t let that fool you. Unbelievably great food, exceptionally friendly staff and a quirky cowboy small town atmosphere. Can’t wait to go back.

Came here on a whim, and it did not disappoint! Our server Sue was awesome and the food was delicious. We’ll definitley be back!

The food was delicious and my family and i enjoyed it.
My kids were offered coloring books.
The syrup was hot and the food was so good.
My daughter got offered jam with her toast and we over all the service was great. Our food was delivered fast and we got our drinks fast as well. 10/10 definitely recommend!

This place holds a special place in our hearts. It was the first place we visited and quickly decided to move to the community. Food is absolutely amazing and atmosphere is so cool!

Best chicken club I have every had. I was dancing it was so good. The staff were all really friendly the wait times was long but it was soooo worth it yum yum yum

Prolonged my visit due to the distance but it's well worth the drive IMO. The staff were fantastic and the food was delicious but now I'm very full. I will definitely be back and would recommend, don't put it off due to the drive as you won't be disappointed.

Oh man, so freaking good. This is the kind of place that makes me feel bad for giving out too many 5 star reviews, because I can't think of many places more deserving of 5 stars than here. All of the food is super delicious and completely homemade, including fresh cut fries and hash browns with fresh red potatoes. We got the steak sandwich, ranchmans breakfast, and the beef melt. Everything was perfect. Apparently the beef comes from the owners own ranch, which explains why it's so good. You absolutely don't need to get something with beef in it to have a fantastic meal though. I haven't been to any other diner better than here. Prices, service, and cowboy atmosphere seals the deal.

Make sure to finish with a homemade slice of pie. The banana cream pie is out of this world.

Always good hearty food for a decent price. Good service as well. House Burger & Beef Barley Soup were excellent today. Great atmosphere. Its all good here.

Was visiting from out of town and was recommended I come here for breakfast, probably the best steak and eggs I’ve ever had. 11/10.

My husband and I had breakfast here this morning and it was delicious. I had the Cody scramble and it was so flavourful … loved every bite. My husband had the Eggs Benny and one (huge) blueberry pancake and they were both delicious. Definitely worth the drive from Calgary. We will be returning.
