Visiting from houston and tried the chicken karahi after a long flight. It was amazingly good and perfect karachi style karahi along with a taaza tasty naan. I ll definitely be visiting again before I leave Edmonton and will highly recommend to try this place out. You won’t regret.
This was supposed to be my birthday dinner. This is the worst churga I’ve ever had. It’s covered in this nasty sauce that didn’t even penetrate any flavour into the chicken. The naan is like it is reheated store bought kind. Soggy. Not good at all.
Excellent Pakistani Fusion Cuisine and Prices Are Good Too. Love The Charga Chicken and Buffet. Amazing Breakfast Buffet Too. Service Is So Warm and Welcoming. Lassi Is a Must
Me and my husband we went there for a quick meal, we had 1 beef biriyani, 1 nihari and 2 butter naan. When we asked for the bill our server handed us the debit slip which showed us the amount we paid but she did not provided the actual bill that displayed what we ordered. The biriyani was 15.99$ nihari was 15.99 and butter naan was 2.75$ each (we ordered 2). The server over charged us extra 8$. But something was very suspicious about the bill. So we went Inside and spoke to the server about this error and asked her to call the owner but she refused and she refunded us the amount that was overcharged. Clearly It felt like a scam to me. I hope other people are not being over charged. We would never receive our money if we never went back
Just moved here and saw that they have a breakfast buffet for 17.99 on the weekends. Went in and it was exceptional. Everything was fresh and warm. Beef paya were amazing. They also serve karak tea. Highly recommend
Never go hungry to this restaurant, it will take forever to get your food on the table, the customer service is hilarious, they don’t deserve even a one star and the people who gave them 5 stars could be their employees or their families, we went there because we love Pakistani food but they disappointed us, will never go again
I enjoyed the food here. Washrooms could be cleaner and one of the faucets wasn't working and I believe the dispenser was some what temperamental. I'd give this place a 4.5 out of 5 if I could, just wish bathrooms were cleaner and it took a long time to get the food if I'm being honest- they are actually busy as they had alot of delivery drivers come for pick up and patrons and we had just come when it opened so its busy
AOA it is a nice cosy venue to visit and enjoy Pakistani cuisine while in Canada. Courteous, disciplined friendly staff. Owner by himself is a Noble soul to meet. Quality of food was good especially fried fish. On the whole one can rate it four star. The only drawback is "SPACE". It was all cramped.
We used to order from this store using doordash frequently. This was our first dining in there. Pretty good interior. They tried their best to mimic authentic Pakistani vibes. I believe this place has more of a Pashtun vibe. The foods are great, huge portions with decent price. We had Goat biriyani with Sweet Lassi, Papri Chat, Goat paya with Plain rice. For some reason, the goat biriyani was a dollar more expensive from Doordash. But their goat/lamb biriyani is I believe the best in Edmonton. The Lassi was okay. I am not a great fan of chickpeas and yogurt, but my friends loved the papri chat. Customer service was kinda okay, not too friendly.
Its so delicious, satisfying food. I always come there for authentic Pakistani food. I also appreciate the servers who are polite and friendly for going the extra mile beyond the call of duty. Will come again next time.
I can event describe I rude was the server. Saturday, we entered the restaurant and placed our order by 6.30. Food took an hour to come to our table. We ordered tandoori platter, one naan, one chicken paratha, and three normal tea. I asked the server more than thrice for an empty cup, they bought tea after 20 min. I politely asked them again that I want an empty cup. After that they disappeared (both of the server). One server (who was wearing black tea shirt with Levi’s tag on it in red Color) came with two cups, and she was very rude. I’m not coming back here again. It was feeling like we are eating here for free. I wouldn’t even give a star. I thought Pakistani restaurant will also great in hospitality and serving people but I am very sorry to say that they proved it wrong!
Fish pakora was TERRIBLE! The fish was undercooked and tasted bland. Oh and you are also supposed to wait for at least 30 mins before food gets handed over to you. Stay away from this place unless you don’t mind wasting your precious time and money.
We are a always looking for yummy desi food and are an old customer of chutney restaurant But we had a mishap recently and forgot our food there unfortunately the next day we called they were closed so my wife got a hold of their Facebook and they were happy to make it fresh again for us. I thank you again to Mr. Riaz Khan for great customer service and yet again delicious food! Good Luck
Excellent Pakistani food and very friendly service. We ordered Chicken Krahai and Dal Makhani with Tandori roti and everything was delicious. We also tried the Chai (doodh Pati) and I strongly recommend that. Overall A+
I like Beef Nihari, tonight I went there to get two beef Nihari and a chicken tikka it took them 40-45 minutes to serve our food finally. The Nihari was made of steak never seen Nihari made of steak. Steak was boiled in gravy and it was hard has rock.
Chutney restaurant was recommended by a friend so glad he did! We went back both nights and for a breakfast too. And, on next trip here, we will return to Chutney restaurant insha Allah! We love Pakistani cuisine. Chutney offered unique specialties which we had not tried before and- yum! Food great, staff friendly, a big man (owner or manager) was so friendly and he was asking every table how was food. And the ambience of the restaurant lovely and cozy
I will give this place 5out 5 stars.we had a great experience eating there.kids loved it we have tried their Peshawari Karahi and Chappli Kabab was a great. And fresh grama gurm tandoori naan. Pakistani legends pictures And Pakistani Songs Loved this place.my wife almost cried Environment was perfect Food was good

Garbage Chana Chaat with not a single onion, tomatoes, potatoes, cilantro.nothing in it.only chana and chutneys.with hell of a super sour chutney. They don't even know how to make chaat. Garbage Bun kabab. Good Limka. Wait time half an hour for chaat. We told them to pack everything. Put all our food in container. No bags provided. I don't know how they r doing business. First n last time.
This place should be out of buesness.my order was completely wrong and the food was garbage.samosas were raw and slimy.ordered extra Naan, was not there, ordered extra chutney was not there. Had bones in my butter chicken. Save your money and go to McDonald's.way better food.such a disappointment. They just do not care about customers and they lie
Do not cater food or take-out food from there, kitchen staff makes food and keep it for themselves.when we called and complained, the owner didn't called back. WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN.
Service time is terrible, I try to order regular chai and they said it would take 30 mins. I called few times after that but I stoped going. I’m not going to wait 30 mins for damn cup of chai. Are you out of your mind? 30 mins for chai?
Well, it is my first time trying Pakistani food and tried their buffet … interacted with owner who was taking care of each and every table and dealing with people himself.loved the food and loved the staff, 100 times better than other neighbourhood restaurant.will be back again:)
We went towards the closing time but the service was amazing. The food was great. We asked for gola ganda an hour after kitchen closed and the girls never fretted even once and she kindly made really good gola ganda. Five stars for outstanding service and food.
Walked in to the restaurant for the first time today since they opened recently and we haven’t tried their food yet. The lady at the reception seemed very upset when I was asking questions about the food that sounded interesting to me. When the replies started getting rude, I just left. Went to the restaurant next door and bought food for my family of 3 from there. Just a piece of advice for the owners. Please ask your staff to treat the customers like humans.
Last week me and my other family's member order food from there, I bought the big sizzler platter cost $61 dollar, butter Chicken and sekh kabab.the tandoori chicken was not fully cooked and rice was so bad in the sizzler platter that I got worst Diarrhea next day.will not recommend any one to buy food from there.
Food was excellent as always but I found the food portion a little bit smaller than before and the waiting for the food was too long? All aside it was great time with friends
As I have mentioned to the owner it is not the best paya I have had. Cold not well boiled blunt. Again confusion regarding the dish preparation. Also please take care of the prices indicated on the menu. Perhaps one land paying more. Overall okay need to try it out again.
