I'm reviewing the Universal Banker (UB) Sumaya Habib, not the institution/banking center as a whole.
Sumaya was a joy to speak with. She guided me through the various changes in my account eloquently and thoroughly. Not only is she knowledgeable in her field, but she's a great conversationalist as well. Thank you for your help, and the jokes you cracked along the way.
I'll recommend her–and by extension this branch—to others for their banking needs.
Poor service, they suppose call me when my new credit card arrive but waited for 3 weeks nobody call me, no message left, no email, until I go visit the branch to find out, they told me my card has been arrived a week already. In the branch only one staff working, 4-5 clients are lining up, they should hire couple more staffs to help.
One staff on hand. Some sort of bizzare open concept space without tellers. Ultra bad customer experience when entering the space. That said, the one lady on staff was helpful and polite.
I could sit here and write an essay on how terrible this mortgage experience was. In summary inexperienced reps and managers such as Ronke and Ola. Customer service comes first and here there was none. The manager needs to work on his inter personal skills and understand positions of a frustrated customer. And trust me it was nothing but frustrations regardless of their "help" Multiple emails sent requiring clarity on things. Multiple arguments on misinformation by both If your looking to mortgage. Use a broker This bank and the staff were terrible I will never use CIBC for any banking due to this Early mortgage payment taken out without notice. Ronke took weeks to respond. As a mortgage that turnaround was terrible
Went this location to certify my cheque, since am with another bank and they require it. The lady introduced herself as in charge of Manager tried to help me. They do not have a seal to do the same. And after 20 minutes, they asked me to go to Country Hills branch. So I went to Country hills branch, they said they didn’t receive any information, so they can’t do. From the country hills location, they tried to call this location, but no one answered. They actually yelled at me in that location. When I went all way back to this location, and met the lady at reception and asked about it. Then she asked to go back on Tuesday, even it was still open hours. They played with my emotion and time. When I said that to her she asked me to go and complaint.
Me and my parents decided to open bank account as a newcomers. We opened our bank accounts with advisor Sumi. She really did a great job and he put a lot of efforts to explain all details on how to use services of CIBC bank further. She was very helpful and kind.
First time I deal with CIBC due to my capital one been transferred. So I wen to the branch to pick up my card in the morning where there was only one other customer there. Something wrong with one of the lady works here. Just hanging around, and so not willing to help people. Doing her job madly! Not recommend this branch!
I went to open an account in a hurry today. Patricia was so kind, smart and skillful at her job. It was my first time at CIBC, but thanks to her, I got a good image at CIBC. He waited patiently for me in a rush, explained and was very helpful. I appreciate her.
No one answers the phone, absolutely no one. It's a real inconvenience for the person at the front desk (when they are there) to do even the smallest thing for you. My God, terrible customer service.
