Waited for the manager for about 20-30 mins he never came out i saw him just sitting there and he never bothered to come and talk to me.

Horrible staff at Palisades branch who aren't properly trained in proper procedures. Teller told my elderly mother who had just had knee surgery and is using a walker she had to go to her home branch in Meadowlark for an issue that could of been addressed at Palisades branch. Rude unprofessional staff.

This CIBC is a joke. Unfortunately this was my first and last interaction with CIBC and I’m not even sure if they meet CIBC standard. I have been working for at least a month on getting a student line of credit from an advisor named Karan. He is a very sweet guy and does put in the effort however he does not know what he’s doing. I was led on from the beginning on some false information, and towards the end of a long and wasteful process, he told me that I got rejected not because of credit or finances, but instead because my guarantor hasn’t been a client for several years? !? What bank does give line of credit to the public, but instead an exclusive for their CIBC members? The management is also not the brightest whats so ever since they couldn’t understand half of the process, and they led us on as well. I am extremely disappointed and do not recommend this bank to ANYONE!

Rajeev Kaler highly knowledgeable, intelligent and friendly person I met in my life. He explained me everything so nicely so I can understand. He knows what he is doing and understand the needs of other people. I had few questions about interest rate, open mortgage and closed mortgage he explained me very easy way.
If anyone looking any kind of investment service please check with him.

It's alright. The wait times whilst in line are either super speedy, or a half hour of standing. So far all the staff have been nice/friendly. This is probably one of the better ones to go to, based on my interactions with the staff! I wish they had a coffee machine for customers.

Best CIBC branch experience at this location because of the manager and staff we deal with. Manager Grewal, Mortgage specialist Deepika and Financial advisor Kam have been extremely helpful for all our banking needs. Vaibhav is a great resource as well. Thank you for all your hard work while providing prompt solutions whenever needed.

What a gong show! So I'm with CIBC (and I have been for almost 17 years) and this morning I had to go get a new bank card but that didn't happen all because I didn't have photo ID (I had a photo declaration of Identity from a Commissioner of oaths) they legitimately held my money from me and then when I said "You can't do that, that's illegal. I want my money and I'll record you if you keep up your attitude! " They had the security call the Police on me but because I didn't do anything wrong they didn't even do anything. I have never had an issue at my branch until this new group of women started working there. The teller legitimately took all my money out of my account and put it in her drawer and held it from me for an hour! I missed my Cats vet appointment. As I was on the phone with a lawyer is when they gave me my money, oh after they had their security guard threaten to put his hands on me! Definitely looking into a lawsuit now!

Cibc is the worst bank. Never enough tellers. Thursday afternoon only one teller working.the other employees just sitting or walking around.
And this is always like that (POOR MANAGEMENT)

Worst bank my friend somehow lost $200 in her bank account due to her account being hacked. She didn’t have anyone she know use it. This bank wasn’t helpful. AVOID THIS BANK!

Doesn't read important messages on commercial banking accounts. Doesn't forward copies of deposits or information to show what is what. Very frustrating branch to deal with.

The branch is friendly and knowledgeable. Everyone at the branch is following covid protocols and ensuring people are following the restrictions. Great branch to deal with and very focused on making sure that my needs are taken care of in a timely manner.

It used to be good branch however all the good friendly staff is gone. Right now most of the staff is rude, not helpful and so slow. 2 secs transaction takes more than 10 mins. And they don't care

By far the worst expierence I have ever had to deal with. Talked to someone on the phone Inreguards to my bank account being frozen due to my VISA, they told me to go in, I went in with my 80 year old grandma (we have shared accounts), and delt with PAM DE LUNA! She did nothing but put me on a phone to talk to phone banking again, and tried her hardest to push my grandma and myself out of the bank and not to help us. After being rudely ignored and shoved out of there I called again on my own time and got transferred to 5 different departments (being on the phone for 2 hours) and still have not gotten any help for my visa that has been fraud. DO NOT reccoment the ignornance and lack of empathy and business they give here.

Came in Saturday and there were a few people in the line up ahead of me. A lady came out of her office (I believe her last name is Sidhu) and asked me what I needed help with. I told her I needed a replacement debit card. She pulled me into her office and helped me out with my replacement card and also helped me out with setting up 2 savings accounts and a student visa (which I had no idea I qualified for)
After she gave me the replacement card she also set up my mobile/online banking for me so that I would have no problems logging in when I got home.
I made an appointment a few days ago and was going to switch my bank account to TD Canada Trust next week and I’m so happy that I walked into this branch today because the customer service from Mrs. Sidhu was outstanding! Because of her I won’t be switching banks. Thank you for all you did!

I went to this branch on Saturday, February 17, around 1: 30 pm to get $60 change in $5 and $10 bills when I was rudely told by a bank teller that it was their policy to not provide change to non-CIBC customers. This teller then told me that I should just go to a bank machine at Safeway if I need change. The bank teller eventually did provide the change that I requested, but told me that I was lucky to be helped and then very strongly encouraged me not to come back again. This teller was very loud and rude. Her behaviour was unacceptable and she should not be working in customer service.

I went to another CIBC (in Oliver Square) and asked if it was their policy to not provide change to non-CIBC customers and their teller said absolutely not, and they were happy to provide me with change.
