CIBC Branch with ATM

Staff and customer service are not professional at all. Had an appointment to open an account last Friday at 2: 00 PM. The officer who I supposed to meet was sick and couldn’t make it, without letting me know over phone before my arrival. I was waiting there for long time to inform me that I should reschedule another appointment next Saturday!

If you are interested in trading and. 50 pieces or silver dollars, DO NOT try to do so at this bank. My husband took in $500 worth of coins which they took and deposited into his account. When he came back in with more coins they said they would no longer take the coins and took the $500 out of his account. They suggested he send the coins to the Bank of Canada himself. My husband pulled all his money from CIBC and took it and all of his coins to ATB which they gladly took the Money and coins, with no problem at all. I highly recommend ATB and definitely not CIBC who not not give a dam about a good customer.

I haven’t had the best experiences with CIBC lately, at other branches, but Shannon at this branch is incredible! She has amazing customer service! I’d highly recommend this branch and specifically Shannon.

Drove up, put my card in, money came out, it gave me my card back, what can I say, pretty simple.

On 22/07/2022 I went there to get a bank draft with my driver license, pr card and passport. They spent over one hour on checking my identity, even asked me private information like the usage of money, the address of the house I will buy and so on. On 23/07/2022 I can’t do transactions on CIBC app. I don’t know the reason. On 24/07/2022 I called the customer service of cibc. They asked me to go to the crowfoot branch again to review my identity. I am so angry because I will sign the contact and send bank draft on 25/07/2022. No calls or messages from the crowfoot branch. They are awful. Waste customer’ time and money.

We wandered in today needing a bank draft, and Janet was lovely and got everything done quickly and efficiently. She was also lovely to talk to, we had an excellent experience at the branch, better than any other cibc branch we've been to in BC or Ontario. Excellent service, and changed my opinion of cibc as a bank. Stellar!

Worst bank, do yourself a favor and take your money somewhere else. You could do better with your money under your mattress!
If I could score zero I would. No customer loyalty, they simply do not care.

Friendly, but have no idea what power of attorney means. I mean what's the point of one when they still have to ask why the person you represent is not present.
