Very bad experience in this bank. Her name is #samia chehade.she is very rude to me.so i really dnt like her service. I never see this type of service before. As being a valuable customer of CIBC (Personal and Business), it is not expected to be this type of service.

I also pre ordered a bank draft and waited over an hour to pick it up! When I asked why there was only two tellers, I was told it was because they want to push people to use online banking. That is what I usually do but because I needed a bank draft I had to go in and as a result missed my appointment with my lawyer. Not impressed as many people have unique circumstances and need HUMAN HELP! I am with Simplii Financial which is all online. I love it and they have NO FEES. (highly recommend) But unfortunately I have to use CIBC which is their parent company to go in and do things in person.

Hours of operation is posted 6pm for Friday. I walk in at 5: 25 and was told the tellers were closed. Lots of people work late and don't want to take time off work.

I have dealt with a lot of banks all over the world, but I have never received worse service from this bank. They don't respect the customer.

I would give 0 stars if I could. I usually don't write reviews, but my experience here was TERRIBLE. I didn't believe others when they told me that the staff at this location was bad. However after my interaction with a teller and the bank manager, I understood.

Customer service aside, the bank manager would not have passed preschool if basic manners were part of school curriculum. She ignores questions and concerns clients bring up, she has NO social skills whatsoever, and completely disrespects clients to their face. After chatting with her for 10 minutes, I felt like I needed to be rushed to the hospital to get my ears checked. Her tone was aggressive and deafening, as if I was her husband who was just caught cheating and was now subject to her scolding on full blast. I felt like I was being under arrest for small requests that other banks could have easily resolved for me in 5 minutes. The attitude and lack of ANY facial expression mirrors stereotypical aggressive senile DMV office workers in movies who could not care less if you dropped dead on the spot. I seriously felt suffocated in this building.

This branch has become a pool where young, talentless, untrained workers get the job likely cause they have connections to senior workers who are identical. Apparently customer service has been this way for ages now. This process is cyclic. It has festered into an environment that is unwelcoming and unprofessional.

To this day I have 2 regrets. One, I should have stood up for myself that day instead of responding with a smile and a polite tone (I did not want to risk getting my task delayed as it was time sensitive). Two, I should have listened to the comments. The latter will continue to haunt me for my remaining existence, but serves as a good reminder to trust the MAJORITY of reviews left online.

Props to the security man though. Only good interaction that day.greeted us warmly with a smile and directed us to the tellers.

They never have enough tellers working, something that should take maybe 5-10 minutes takes an hour.
They usually have one teller working when there’s fifteen people in line

I have to say by reading the reviews I would never want to come to this bank.
But the reality is that I do bank at this location. Not often because I am ill. But every time that I have come here I didn’t have a horrendous experience like a lot of you.
Actually one time during the plandemic I went to the bank and was treated like royalty because I am on oxygen and was taken into an office to sit.
I do agree that some of the staff aren’t exceptionally friendly but they aren’t rude either.
I must say that if I had to contend with winers and complainers like you guys on a daily basis I can guarantee you that I’m not going to be very optimistic.
We all have been through a very traumatic time the past few years. It’s time to be gentle on yourself so that you can learn to treat others properly and with kindness. It’s not all about you. Time to quit throwing your tantrums and act like adults

I went to this branch to cash a cheque and they were quick and friendly. I was served by a gentleman named Justin, and he was pleasant to talk with.
