I called 3 days in a row multiple times and always get send the voice mail and no one calls me back

I have used this branch for years and there have been a few occasions when I have wondered why. Today was one of those occasions. I had a meeting on Monday January 8 with my new “financial advisor”. This was an appointment to get the RESP funds for my children who are both students. I was meant to receive an email with forms for my son to sign and my daughter, who was at the meeting signed that day. I hadn’t gotten any follow up information by Friday morning so I sent an email and was finally contacted by email on Saturday evening. Today is January 16. We have not gotten the required funds for my daughter and the appointment I was supposed to have today was canceled as the employee was out sick. I stopped by the branch to drop off the signed forms for my son to get the funds he needs for school. I waited for more then 20 minutes before one of the two employees who weren’t hiding in the back finally acknowledged me. The customer service here is, in my opinion terrible and I would not recommend using this branch to anyone

I received a cheque by who I thought was a friend who said he'd help me out with some money. My bank refused to verify it and go to CIBC to see if they could.
At the reception a named woman named Shelley was there and very helpful. She did what she needed to do. In this case Shelley brought up the account and discovered the cheque was NSF. She asked if she could photo copy it.
Of course I did as she wanted to show the manager.
Upon return she pointed out very interesting things.
Only on the photo copied the word void appeared on it. The paper was heavier than a normal cheque plus the logo hadn't been used for a very long time.
I use a scooter to get around this small city. Shelley politely told how to get back on the most direct route back home.
What impressed me even more she called me a couple hours later as promised to tell me what her manager said.
The surprising part was she wanted to know if I got home alright.
Not only was Shelley professional she was polite and went out out of her way to inform me on a few interesting things.

I've tried and tried to speak with someone from the branch directly. And now it's been a week I keep leaving messages and do think anyone would return my call

Darren is deadly slow. It took him 10 minutes to complete the transaction. I cancelled it and moved to another branch

I don’t know if I can direct this to the branch itself or CIBC itself… but one teller at all times and limits for cash withdrawals really are too much to bank with this company. Record profits and record cuts to in-person banking.

I was in and out in no time. Friendly and cordial staff. I'll will go back in a blink next time I need to do in person banking.

I am running a business in Sherwood Park, and have three bank accounts in three different bank, but CIBC bank make a exception from all of them. I would like to thank to Mr. Hardeep Singh Nanda for the services provided to me while running the business and he help me to get my loan approved. I will recommend them to all. Thanks

Front end staff have been friendly. The problem is with staff who are to file documents for you, there is no carry through. I have been into this branch 4 times to have the power of attorney documents completed, each time I am told that they will complete it and it does not happen. So this week I have called the manager several times to have this issue taken care of and she has not called me back once. I have a terminally ill parent and have been trying to get this completed since January it is May tomorrow. Something is seriously wrong if there is this much incompetency in one place.

Left messages for a callback four times over a two week period, inquiring about a letter they sent me. Two of the calls were to the manager Miss Commisso's direct line. Explained I could not come into the branch. Not one return call was ever received. This seems like the service I get every time I or my daughter try to deal with this branch. Glad I'm moving everything I can to BMO who I always get great service from.

Got rid of all the staff at their other locations and replaced them with atms. Now every cibc customer in Sherwood Park has to use this single location that is overworked and barely open if you need to speak to an actual person

What a joke they closed ur account because of theft and then tell u its your fault because they don't have any security on there easyweb oh anything i would neven recommend them for nothing

CIBC is the worst banking corporation out of the big 5, their customer service is a 1/5 star. Their security is compromised, and the worst Bank for bank fraud online. Be very cautious dealing with this bank, bank employees have no real ability to assist real banking needs, and bank managers heavily limited.

I have been on hold off and on since Saturday morning about fraud on my account. Havent heard a single word or even talked to the right person about this problem. Very disappointed and very disrespectful considering no one seems to give a rip that this is happening. Will be canceling my account with CIBC as this is not the first time this has happened.

Literally the worst bank. What do you need a bank for? To cash cheques! And CIBC won’t cash THEIR OWN Cheques. Completely useless.

Lined up 5 deep. 1 teller on at counter.other staff standing around talking.how about some timely service?
