Atrocious customer service. Waited in line for almost an hour to see a teller and every single person in front of me was receiving terrible service. If you want to stand in line just to be told to call a number that you called yesterday that told you to go to a branch, bank with CIBC.

I had an appointment today for 2: 30pm with Remya Anoop. Arrived 10 minutes earlier and waited till 2: 40pm until one of the other employees informed me that unfortunately Remya had too leave early and she wasn't there, she offered me if I was willing to wait till she was finished with other clients. I refused and left.
I found it very unprofessional that they didn't even have the decency to follow up with me and cancel or reschedule the appointment instead of just not showing up.
Obviously I don't have any desire to put my money in this branch and deal with more problems in the future. Thanks for wasting my time.

Showed up at 455pm, hours say open until 5. Bank tellers were closed and gate was shut. Maybe try following your hours of operation

Absolutely disappointed in the service at this branch. I’ve been a customer with CIBC now for 10 years and the service keeps going downhill. This branch manager has no regard of people’s special circumstances given we are in a pandemic and not all of us have the luxury of being at the branch in person. Going to look fo a different bank as CIBC will not see a dime from me in the future.

Small brunch does not have all the larger branches features but staff tries their best to help. Great extra hours

Sharon was my adviser and she was fantastic. I came in looking for options to build my credit as I had been out of the country for many years. She was really through with explaining my options and extremely helpful. I was honestly surprised with how fast everything worked out. She is a great asset to your bank.

Still being closed when everything else is the city is open. Taking advantage of this bad time and causing people to crowd around the only 2 open CIBC. CIBC don't care about people they are using this to rip of everyone and put you in more danger.

I sold my bussiness, so I closed my account to avoiding unnecessary fees, but my business GIC was not mature at time, after Mature day, I ask my bussiness advicer Debbie Missal to transfer the GIC to my personal account, she refused, she said I have to reopened the account, I asked her to reopen it for me, she said she had no time for me, she ask me go somewhere else. I guess it wouldn't have benefitted her. She went from a smile to a frown and sounded very annoyed. I am really disappointed with her and CIBC.
She definately does not represent CIBC well. I have been business banking with this branch since 1998. I have been banking with CIBC SINCE 1990.

Rude manager, East Indian guy I think one of the managers refuse to give me change on my money to smaller bill after I waited for 15mins in line which I use to do for a couple of months already even I don’t have an account to them, I’m planning to open an account but not anymore. But thanks to the other teller who helped me before.

They cant seem to understand English and half of them dont know what they're doing beyond the computer. Sometimes people are unable to go to the bank. They need to be more compassionate about people's situations not like robots.

Thought I would share my positive experience since people always tend to complain on forums like this! Went in on Friday and a client was being so rude to the poor teller. The teller was so respectful to this gal. The manager and staff tried to their best to be understanding to her. Never seen a manager who has been so patient & graceful when dealing with such a rude client. I like banking at this location, amazingly friendly people always welcome you with a smile. And honestly I only bank with CIBC because of the staff & management at this location. Great job!

The staff there were nice enough but it took me 20 minutes online to book an appointment due to language barriers. In addition, I had explained that my CIGs would not be matured until the day after the appointment. He said that did not matter and I could do all paperwork a day earlier - this was not true! I had to go back to the bank on the maturity date as well!

Absolutely awful terrible service. And to top it all off I saw the manager outside after using the services and he was rude and condescending without provocation. Worst workers I have ever dealt with in the city. I will happily spend an extra 30 minutes commuting rather than use this branch. AWFUL.

The staff here are terrible. Indian lady at the counter refused to help me get my new debit card activated and she looked disgusted to be helping me. Other Indian lady walked out from the back and looked me up and down In disgust- probably cause I'm white. I have to go to another bank just to activate my new debit card after getting information on how to do it over the phone.

I was sent from whyte to downtown and then downtown said they didn't know why i came to them.when returning to whyte to inquire why i was sent dowtown i was met with hostility and a smug bank manger who literally stated that she was being condescending.wow ridiculous experience and i will not repeat it.

Went to increase my limit on a line of credit that I've had since the 1990s. After over 30 minutes they told me that my interest rate would be prime plus 11.

Signed up for a new account online and had to go to this branch to get the card. Staff member was polite and it all went smoothly.

Would have been 5 stars except the location is awful for someone who drives.

Had to park in the subway parking lot. Luckily I was hungry as I never park at another business and use their stalls without supporting said business.

Was in the branch making a deposit and there was another customer who just wanted a new debit card and was very polite. Because they were a business customer the bank would not help them and the teller told them to try another branch. The manager refused to help (which i am sure has the knowledge to issue a debit card). The customer asked the bank if they can call the other branches to make sure they have someone available to help them so they do not drive around from branch to branch. The teller said no that's not her job. Very poor service and the fact the manager did nothing to assist the customer makes it even worse.
