CIBC Branch with ATM

Left after 37 years, The service through out has been extremely poor, Communication breakdown within the staff.

I have worked in banking for many years, and I can say with complete honesty that I have NEVER seen people as dumb or as useless as the employees at this branch. They can't complete the most basic of transactions, (even at senior or management level,) and they get mad when asked to perform anything more complex than a cash withdrawal. I don't think there's a rating low enough to accurately portray the incompetence here. When I tried to speak with the manager to get help with a time-sensitive transaction, (relating to an estate settlement,) she actually refused to speak with me. I truly don't understand why anyone would pay these people, (or trust them,) to handle their banking. I hope I never have to do business with CIBC again, and certainly never at this branch.

I had great experience with the hiral patel. As i’m new in the country.she is very helpful and knowledgeable, offered the best customer service and surpass expectations.

Lovely young lady at the front whose job is to encourage clients away from live agents but steering them towards trying to solve our banking by machine. Didn't like that actually.

I was paid for a job with a CIBC check from this branch. I came here and asked if they would cash the check for me. They were extremely rude to me and told me no. They will not cash a check unless I open an account with them.

Hurry up! This place is so bloody slow. Stop chit chatting with the customers and just do your job. Some of us are in a hurry. Unfortunately had to be here 2 days in a row and ive been waiting minimum 30 minutes. Stop saying be with you shortly. SLOW AS HELL!

This place is ok I do a lot my banking here but one worker who was saying I was big now like fat kinda made me upset I mean I don’t know that worker but it just seems rude in my opion but other then that nice employees and good bank to bank at I mean maybe she had no bad intentions it just felt rude to me she’s Asian lady but I’m not saying she had bad intentions it felt rude to me in a way

Just don’t bank with CIBC. Especially with this location (keep in mind this is a main branch). Look at CIBC’s ratings throughout the city…they are all terrible! I deal with banks on a regular basis professionally and I can’t warn you enough to stay away from CIBC for a vast variety of reasons.
This banking madness needs to stop and CIBC is most definitely one of the worst.

Great thanks to Nissy Peter Abraham on helping with my mortgage. Helped with my paperworks all to get done in no time. Employees like Nissy makes more customers to join CIBC bank.

Once I moved to Canada, I had a great service when I opened my account at this branch. Despite the fact that my English was not so good, they understood me and all my requirements, and suggested the best products. They are quick and very knowledgeable.

Worse experience of my life this nice mortgage lady was helping me and she told me her manage said that she wasn't able to take the time she was to help me! Unbelievable they are suppose to be there to help!

Asked to get a cheque certified; not only did they certify it for me, they deposited it without giving me a 5-day hold unlike the other branches across Edmonton. Highly recommend this branch for your banking needs.

Foreign money I had ordered was sent back without notice. Not a single msg on my phone nor a single email. They said they had "called" but they left NO MESSSAGE. No apology, no nothing. If there was notice I would have come in earlier.

Your ads in the middle of me watching YouTube, they are so annoying that I'll never even consider using you guys. Ads do more harm then good.
