CIBC Branch with ATM

Inderpal was very helpful. I would say that he is an asset.

I came in without an appointment on a Saturday morning and was in hurry. He took a very good care of me as a customer.

I have been with this bank for Over 6 years and normally iv had some good and bad experience with them but today this was the last starw now I had became administrator of my late father's estate and I got his last tax return in the mail (Yes it was put in the Estate of my fathers name but it also states in the care of and my name)

I took it into Cibc today and was told I woukd need to set up a estate account even tho it also has my name on it and they refused to help even tho the government told me I could and the brach manager told me that depositing it without a estate account is against the law

Well I went to the Bank my father had before I closed it and they said that because it had my name on that my bank can cash it no issue this bank is so Lazy when it comes to Costomer service! And I'm getting so fed up with this!

I have had nothing but amazing experiences with this Branch. I've been banking with CIBC for over a decade now and they've been nothing but helpful and easy to communicate with since then. This particular branch has phenomenal staff and is amazing with over the phone issues. My last few issues with my card were fixed in less than 5 minutes and I'm beyond grateful for that

I want cancel my account. Got rejected they explained that I have couple dollars in account. But they don’t have cash. I mean why office work?

I live in Ontario (previously Alberta). I’ve spoken to several CIBC staff here (in ON) and no one was able to help me. The last person I spoke to told me to call my branch in Alberta to find out why I am not able to access the funds in my account. I called and spoke to Carlton and he immediately knew what the problem was. The problem was rectified is less than half an hour. I am very impressed with the service Carlton continues to give me even though I no longer live Alberta.

Terrible bank. Went to get a mortgage about a year ago and the broker would not even bother running the numbers as he deemed me unfit to get a mortgage. Went elsewhere and got one no problem!
Also had a account with them and it took me weeks to get in and cancel as there hours are the worst! When I asked them about them as COVID caused some places to change hours, the response I got was "go to the city" if the hour's didn't work. They have called to try and bring me back in but don't even have the hours to be able to accommodate me

One off the worst bank that you can have an account with especially the Airdrie location I went to see the Account manager it takes them more then 3 weeks to figure out some simple transaction and once I went to see him in his office, as soon as he so me coming in he just closed the door acting that he is very busy it’s a sad to go from this bank after banking with them for over 25 years shame on them

Went to get bank drafts before their closing time. To my astonishment, they had the doors to the banks inside tellers closed at least 10-15 minutes before the time on the appointment message center, which was 4: 00. Outer doors close at 5. What's the deal!

Terrible customer service this is the worst Branch ever they should close the doors the people there are rude and should all be fired.

This bank has to be the worst we have ever tried to use. No other bank refuses to cash a check from their bank like them.

Carlton Wright did an Amazing job with my mortgage! The poor guy, want through hell and back going through numerous people on the phone and back to get done what we needed. KOODO'S CARLTON!

Terrible customer service! The teller was rude and didn’t help it all! They know they are doing a bad job and they don’t even care.

I can't speak to some of the complaints mentioned in these reviews, but our interactions with Inder have been excellent. He's really make efforts to work with us and we'd recommend him to anyone who uses this bank!

The customer service at this branch is REALLY poor. They only have one teller on at a time and You have to wait FOREVER at times. If they see a line-up you’d think they would put out an extra teller! We gave a business account here as well as personal so can’t always use the ATM. I really miss our CIBC branch that closed down in Crossfield.

Very poor customer service. Staff are very judgemental and dismissive in person, will not follow up on call back service when trying to contact the branch.

Always at least a 20 minute wait and there is only ever 1 teller working and if there is one more they are closed doing something else.

The worst customer service iv experience. I asked a question about cashing my check and they dont listen to the question just answer to a totally different question I didnt ask. I feel this location and its managers are liars. The manager told me his employee was lieing about cashing a cibc work check at a cibc bank.that I'll have to wait 5 days hold. But every month I bring the same check there and get it cashed. It's from the same bank so not sure why they are making huge deals about cashing there own check. I feel that they are just picking on me and trying to make my life harder. I think it's called discrimination. Just a bunch of losers at this locating that will lie to you. I'm going forword with my complaint to the head office of cibc because I know it's there policy to cash there own check. Stay away from this place. Rude and unprofessional.

Do see lot of negative reviews from alot of people and I would like to share my experience which has always been nothing but fantastic.

Strongly advise to the ones who had bad experience, go see the Manager Jeet Sangha and he will go above and beyond to make you happy (has done for me alot of times) and I am not even a big account.
Very down to earth guy and always willing to help and gives great advise (recently helped me out with a car purchase)
He and his team are very professional and they know what they are doing.

So if you ever had a bad experience give them a shot, am sure you won't be disappointed.

Staff treats you like a criminal because im not dreased in a suit i tried explaining how i think my acount was hacked and they keep saying wait for head office even tho head office told me to go in to any branch im not happy with this location

Customer service by a lady at the front counter was less than pleasant after making a mistake on her end. Unfortunately, I wont be banking at this location any further.

I love this branch! The staff and manager have always been so helpful and are extremely friendly. So thankful to all of them for setting me up for financial success!

The staff here are extremely incompetent! This bank will lose you money with their stupidity like they have me and unfortunately I have a mortgage with them! Take my advice and RUN! As fast as you can away from this branch!
