I was there at this location yesterday after 4: 15 and lady on the business counter was rude and had zero communicating skills.

As nice as they are, they are also REALLY slow and ALWAYS lacking tellars even on the Friday before a Long weekend, not my preffered branch.

Normally I have a pleasant experience, but I came in and the csr was very rude, kept saying “I know what I am doing” even though it’s not the way we normally do our deposits. She mentioned “this is easier”, which I didn’t know was an option when it came to dealing with money. She kept mentioning this is quicker but from my time being a CSR for a bank we had a rule where everyone gets the time they deserve” not a good look at all CIBC. Sorry to take up all of your time Nivida and inconvenienced you!

Never mind that the location is the most depressing ugly bank ever, the staff are so cold and so unhelpful and condescending. If you aren’t rich they treat you like you’re beneath them. I’m considering leaving CIBC all together after using this awful location.

Very friendly staff, excellent service. I'm a newcomer and had trouble with opening account via online application. Thanks to manager Josh K.for his awesome help and professionalism with opening account and taking care when I ran into trouble with transferring money between my accounts. As a newcomer I'm not much familiar with the banking in Canada and Josh helped me to understand basics that are different in Canada.

Very bad experience
Came to pay auto loan by a cheque that was in my name and the insurance because the car met with an accident. Requested to pay the rest in a cheque on my name and declined and was explaining to start an account or else won’t be able to submit the cheque. Request for an supervisor but stayed inside and stick with his/her decision not to help.
Came to Shawnnesy branch and they helped
It’s very very easy to make someone life harder
Good job
Good service from the teller tried everything for her side

Talked to Nicole on the phone, she was great and found an appointment time that worked. As well she made sure to go over what I needed to have to set up an account.
I will follow up on reviews down the road

Update
Still banking with them, they have made an effort to give good customer service and find solutions to problems. Very happy to continue to bank with them

This review is regarding my families interaction with Alejandro Perdomo. After an in branch visit we have come to learn that his knowledge of general banking is lackluster to say the least. To make matters worst he says that he will "find out more information and give you a call". He has never followed up and after leaving multiple voicemails he has not called us back for more information. What I find more appalling is that he lacks knowledge, yet he puts up a facade of confidence by relaying incorrect information. This matter needs to be investigated as the problem seems to run deep into the branch with the management team deciding to ignore customer complaints.

Teller applied me for a credit card I did not ask for and snooped through my recent purchases and accounts when I came in for a simple deposit form. Snarky attitude

It's perfectly fine when the bank is open, but after hours it's extremely sketchy. Being right next to Chinook station, it's inevitable but they could at least employ an evening/overnight security guard to kick out trespassers and make the place feel more safe.

Last night Sunday Feb 16, around 630pm, a friend and I walk in to the ATM, the automatic door was broken and about 8 homeless inside, doing needles, not a safe bank or place to go, on the C train route, no security, no police, do not go near this area or bank. Bank doesn't want to believe this, go to your cameras at that time and have a look for yourself.

Muhammad Ali is the best financial advisor I ever met. I got the TFSA over contribution issue. I can to the branch and told to him, he start to fix the problems right the way! Told to the manager, reported the issue to CIBC and try anything to help me figure it out! What a kindness person he is! I would recommend everyone come to this branch and get financial service with Muhammad Ali!

One of the worst branches you can imagine. They won't respond to your e-mails, they'll ignore your calls, and they will absolutely find a way to lose you money.

Told us the driver license was not proper ID. Are you blind? And asked her colleague what she should do when we withdraw money without an ID. Liar on top of blind. Thanks god I am with RBC, and I would let my partner to switch another bank company.

I called to book an appointment and the gentleman said 4 to 5 PM on a Friday. I called to confirm the appointment and a female named Parul hung on me after promising to give a call back. I went to the branch location and I was told 3: 30pm with Mohammed. I recieved a call after I left from Mohammed stating it the appointment was for 4pm as originally stated.

Wow, would YOU trust your hands in people who made 4 mistakes before the meeting? I rest my case.

Try another branch. They are a careless group based on this interaction and their reviews.

Terrible I walked into the bank to do the cash deposit and 2 ladies chatting all the world. Stood in line I was the only one 4 tellers know raise head to see who is waiting and 2 ladies were chatting not even considering a customer is waiting. Common purpose is serve customers frist or have chat?

I've had good and bad experiences here. Service is alright, but the tellers seem to chatter alot and I'm not sure who in the company decided chewing gum is acceptable/professional in a quiet facility. I do hope they review that policy since it is not pleasant having a teller smacking gum every word as they are helping you.

Consider using a different bank. Doesn't answer phone calls and I was even hung up on by one of the tellers.
