City Centre Animal Hospital, Airdrie

I've never been here but I called because our vet is no longer doing after hours small animal calls. I was worried about my cat and the lady who answered helped me feel better and gave me options to help until we could get him seen. Thank you so much!

Our little kitty was not feeling herself, and it turns out that she had swallowed a piece of string. Both Doctors and the support team took excellent care of her, and made time to see her immediately when I brought her in. After an x-ray and luckily dislodging the string, and sending us home to monitor her and getting her on a high fibre diet, she made a full recovery and is back to her normal, silly ways. The clinic followed up over the days after our visit and we couldn't be more grateful for them. City Centre Animal Hospital will absolutely take great care of you and your furry one, they operate a clean and professional clinic.

Nitro and I came in urgently and unexpectedly. I was met with polite and professional staff and was quickly helped in a very caring manner. Nitro and I felt very welcomed and safe despite the stressful situation. The team put us both at ease and gave us great care and advice. Thank you again for taking such good care of our big boy.

Took my cat here to get her vaccine 2 days later her one eye went cloudy, doctor Singh told me to bring her in immediately he spent 20 mins looking at the eye running several tests and gave us a steroid! Best Vet EVER extremely thorough! Never charged an emergency fee! Where as most vets would have and he prescribed a medication. It wasn't hundreds of dollars it definitely was reasonable!
I can now enjoy my weekend worry free!

All the staff is very friendly and helpful. They always manage to get my dog in I need them, and even take me back and teach me some care tips to help me at home.

Took good care of my cat, they assessed her and gave her medication. She has gotten a lot better and her infection is healed.

I cannot stress enough how wonderful this clinic is. They saved my girls life and I’ll be forever grateful for that. Amazing staff, amazing service. <3

Love this vet clinic. We moved to Airdrie about 2 years ago. And for the first year, had been taking our dog to random clinics when he needed to go. I came across City Centre when needing to bring my cat in, as they are open until 8pm and I needed to bring her in asap. There long and late hours are very convenient. We then started taking our dog there, he has had several issues in the last 6 months. And they have been nothing but amazing for both our cat and our dog. We definitely found our permanent vet clinic!:)

Very impressed with level of care shown to my new Rescue kitty. Dr Singh was recommended by Tails to Tell Rescue and he has not disappointed. He is experienced and knowledgeable; doesn’t recommend things really not needed.
I feel safe and confident my cat has and will continue to receive quality care.
They are also open 7 days a week with excellent hours to accommodate all work and life scenarios.
Centrally located close to my home too so no long drives.

New resident to Airdrie and needed an urgent vet appointment. Was a walk-in to the clinic. Wait time was very minimal. Dr Singh took care of my pup and was extremely patient. He throughly explained the diagnosis. Two follow ups since our initial appointment. Definitely will be making this my vet!

We walked into the clinic hoping to get advice for our dog with a cherry eye. The vet and the receptionists were not helpful but rather pushed for us to spend money first before getting any information out of them. Terrible customer service, unprofessional, was very clear that the company prioritizes money over the animal. Telling us obvious information like “Eye squinting is a sign of discomfort”. Definitely not bringing my dog here for the cherry eye surgery.

Dr. Singh has been the primary vet for my two dogs and two cats for several years. His approach is very caring, attentive, and preventative. In addition to successfully treating issues that come up, he always proposes additional ways to prevent future flareups of conditions (as well as avoid excessive antibiotic use /immunity). I love this preventative approach, as this is something that is hard to find in conventional animal and human care. He always encourages a very practical approach to treating issues in what I feel is a cost conscious manner that does not push unnecessary testing or treatment expenses. I am so lucky to have him as a vet, and I view my drive from Calgary to Airdrie well worth the trip for the service I get.

When Dr. Singh has been unavailable, I have also seen Dr. Gupta, and the care I received from him was excellent as well.

Took my senior dog here for the first time. Dr. Rehal was great with him and very attentative to all of my wife's questions. We were treated like we had been going there for years, not up sold/taken advantage of, and the girls at the front counter were the icing on the cake. The building is large, bright, clean, and fresh coffee and water was offered. Thanks for the great service today, we will be back!

Dr. Rehal provided a very thorough explanation of our dog's dental procedure and we felt very taken care of throughout the entire process. I would highly recommend him to all dog parents looking for a highly knowledgable and caring veterinarian.

Odin loves this vet! We will be sticking around with them. They have a warm and comfortable approach that kept Odin relaxed and accommodated his need to stay close to me for any procedures which is awesome! They are also understanding and caring and are willing to work with financial barriers that their clients might be facing.

I don’t even want to give a star. I had called in as my pup had cut open his paw pad and it was bleeding pretty badly. I had called 10 min before they closed to try and see if they could have someone look at him quickly as I only live 5 min away. They put me on hold for almost 5 minutes and then couldn’t even stay open a little later to take a look at my dog and was no help in suggesting another place to go to. For a place that calls themselves an Animal Hospital they sure don’t live up to their name.

My dog became very ill a couple of weeks back on a Friday. By the time Saturday morning came, I knew he had to be taken in and seen immediately. The vet I was previously taking my dog too in Airdrie (prior to this incident) was closed on weekends like many are here in Airdrie. After frantically searching online and calling around I learned that City Centre Animal Hospital was open. I called and spoke with a very kind receptionist that understood my fear and panic and booked me an appointment right away even though they were fully booked.

It quickly became apparent that my dog was far sicker than anyone would have realized. To make an incredibly long story short, I was at City Centre Animal Hospital Saturday morning, Saturday evening and again Sunday morning. Dr. Singh was the vet on call that treated my dog that weekend. I cannot say enough about Dr. Singh and his staff. They are incredibly knowledgeable, kind, caring, supportive, compassionate - I could go on for days. They went above and beyond in so many ways, so many times. Little things like not charging me a recheck exam fee every time we went back, or showing me how to administer certain medications so I would not have to continually come back every few hours.

Unfortunately we couldn’t figure out what was going on with my dog and things escalated to where he needed to be hospitalized (3 weeks later multiple vets are still working together to try and determine what is going on). Long story short over the last three weeks Dr. Singh has continued to email me or call me every couple of days to check in on my dog.

It’s also worth mentioning that the staff from front end to techs to vets are warm, friendly and compassionate. The office is lovely, clean and comfortable and is open 7 days a week 8am - 8pm.

If your looking for a vet, I can promise you, you will not be disappointed bringing your pet to City Centre Animal Hospital.

Thank you for always being there for me and my pups. I can’t put into words how grateful I was for you tonight and in the past. You took the time to listen to me and gave me all the options for treatment. I appreciate you all, from the front desk, to the vets, and everyone in between.

The prices are reasonable and the vets listen and show they care. We have used them for routine vet care as well as some non-routine visits. My wife and I have been very happy with this clinic.

So far every animal I've taken in has been put down. Very confusing information from reception to vet to final decisions. Felt backed into a corner with very little options. Should have never stopped going to Didsbury Animal Services. They have always kept all my animals and livestock alive even in extreme cases.

My dog Buddy is still able to take part in his favourite activites despite a heart murmur and cancer. Thank you, Dr Singh!

Staff is very rude, and they do not honor appointments even when they are confirmed via text and email several days prior.

The entire team here are very professional. They are knowledgeable and the prices are fair.
I will always remember the kindness of Dr. Singh and his team when I had to say goodbye to my dog.

Can't say enough things about this vet! All the staff are great, very helpful and the price is very reasonable. The vet and assistant helped us with our reactive dog and although he lost himself a bit they stayed professional and continued to try to help! Our first time with them he gave us the medication he required and he was back to normal in a few days. I hope to never visit them again but if I have to i ll be happy to bring him here if I have to. It was just over 24hrs since our visit they called to check up on him to make sure he was OK.

Well staffed! We are always able to get our dog in when we need to which is important! Very friendly vets and receptionists who take time to answer questions at the appointment. Spacious examination rooms.the follow-up phone call was very helpful too, the vet tech and the vet gave very thorough and thoughtful answers. Cheaper than most clinics.

Gus went to City Centre and was taken care of Dr. Manny to get neutered. The best care my dog had. Dr. Manny was very hands-on, i had an after care print out and a follow up email as well. Would not bring my dog anywhere else. The care they give and the knowledge is top notch.

Absolutely the most honest and caring vet I've ever been to! Dr. Gupta was so genuine and even called me two days later to follow up with how our pup was doing! He was so knowledgeable and knew exactly what was troubling my pup and didn't have any interest in up selling me on anything. Very clean, very reasonably priced and excellent service. I highly recommend Dr. Gupta and City Centre Animal Hospital.

This hospital is one of the most affordable clinics I have found around the Calgary area. They have been AMAZING in my emergencies I have had with my cat and VERY accommodating when we need them the most. We now take all of our animals there. Affordable, quality care.

I was new to Airdrie when my dog needed medical attention. I was able to get in to see a vet quickly. The doctors and staff were wonderful and very kind to my dog. He is now on the mend.

Update! This clinic never lets me down! The best vet in and around Calgary. My other dog had to get ear surgery and they were so dedicated to making sure he was given the proper care! They are the only clinic that has ever been able to treat my anxious dog. I can’t thank this team enough. Kat is absolutely wonderful and same with the doctors. They work so hard to ensure a good patient experience and are super affordable. Absolutely amazing! Thank you for all you guys do!

Today we made the very difficult decision to send our 18 year old cat over the rainbow bridge, Billy was getting old, and we had been discussing that we were waiting for him to tell us it was his time. This morning he had a 5 minute seizure. We talked for about another hour and called our Vet, this was not a decision we take lightly. It is about our animals, and their quality of life. Our usual vet could not fit us in and recommended City Centre. We called and they could fit us in very quickly, I asked about the fees and was told there was a 65.00 examination fee and 95.00 as long as we didn't request paw prints and ashes to be returned. When we got there, we were immediately escorted into a room. Shortly after that a very young vet came into examine Billy. He took his temperature, listened to his heart and felt his abdomen. He then proceeded to tell us that he was conflicted. He could find nothing wrong with the cat. The seizure was probably the result of a brain tumor. We should take him home and let him continue for another 2-3 months. For about 15 minutes we had to defend our decision, we had to argue that we had considered our options and knew what was best for our friend. The vet not once agreed that it was the correct decision. He left with Billy to start the IV. I commented as he left, that he was cruel. The front desk girl then came in and we signed the required paperwork. She was quite kind. About 5 minutes later she came in with the debit machine so we could leave right away when it was done. The amount of the bill? 278.00. While I thought 165.00 was too cheap, she had failed to mention the difference for the euthanasia fee, perhaps the correct answer on the phone was 300-400, depending on burial choices. Now it is time for Billy to come back and for the procedure. I have to say that the vet was much kinder during the procedure and did say that we had made a loving caring choice for our animal. Over all we cannot recommend this clinic. We were made to feel like murderers, instead of loving owner's of a wonderful animal that was the family cat.

I have been bringing my two pups here for the last year and they have been so wonderful every time! They are friendly, knowledgeable, kind, passionate and helpful. I know my furry children are always in good hands with them!

Dr. Mitchell is amazing! He took detailed notes during our visit with him and after asking us everything we could possibly tell him about our kitty, he was able to give us a very thorough on his explanation of all of the possible causes of our cats symptoms, and detailed exactly what tests he wanted to run, and why they are necessary to make sure we weren't missing anything. I have never has a vet express so much interest and wanting to be as accurate as possible. I really can't say enough good things about him. He called 4 days after we started our cats medication with the results of other tests and checking to see how our cat was doing, unfortunately I was working and couldn't answer but he left a message. The lady who I talked to when I called back was extremely helpful and didn't rush me off the phone! As soon as I called I quickly rattled off how my cat was doing, and she asked if I wanted to speak to Dr. Mitchell. I had caught him as he was going into an appointment so the lady who answered the phone had talked to Dr. Mitchell, relayed more information from him, and was even able to give me some advice from her own similar experiences! It was a good 10 minute phone call and at no point did I feel like I was rushed or wasting their time. These guys are truly incredible! Thank you thank you thank you!

We went to CCAH on a Sunday when our cat became quite ill and our normal vet wasn't open. The entire staff were amazing to work with. Calm, clear, and gave me all the options. They were very honest and upfront about costs and have quite reasonable pricing compared to everywhere else we have been. They referred us to an overnight emergency hospital and the next day, get this, they called to see how our boy was doing. Not only did they call and follow-up, they offered further information and advice over the phone! We are so impressed and appreciative. Bringing a sick cat for another car ride/appointment is so not ideal, but most vets won't even take your call much less offer further care instructions over the phone. We will be coming back for sure and trust our furry boys to the CCAH staff anytime!

This clinic has been amazing with my boyfriend’s dog Bentley. Dr Singh is very knowledgeable and patient. They have amazing staff that goes above and beyond for their patients.

My sweet old dog had developed a reoccuring bladder infection and was in considerable discomfort. Much to my disappointment I was unable to get any kind of appointment at our regular vet due to staffing shortages. I called CityCenter Clinic and in a matter of minutes I was offered an immediate appointment. Dr Gill examined our old girl and in conversation, I mentioned that Dr Singh had been our vet at one time. Much to my surprise, Dr Gill momentarily left the room and called Dr Singh at home, handed me the phone, and I was able to further consult with the Dr Singh. I was truly greatful to Dr Gill, and was beyond delighted to talk to Dr Singh. He had full recall of our old girl, and it was truly a pleasure to talk to him
From the moment I called City center clinic, my expectations have been exceeded. City Center vet is now our clinic and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

We recently moved to Calgary from Ontario and obviously had to find a new vet. I shopped around for pricing but also quality. I was recommended this vet from a neighbor of mine and they came highly recommended, they were also the lowest priced. I highly recommend City Centre as they are very professional, nice, efficient and answered all questions and concerns I had. I have never been in and out of a vet so quick before, but also never seen a vet so thorough with an exam on my dog before. Love them!

Dr Singh and staff are SO very professional and nice. Clinic was cozy, clean and almost intimate - not large and overwhelming. It was pleasurable to visit them today, and to have Bear taken such good care of. Even he (my hurt pup Bear) was happy, and at ease. No wait time, great care at a very very good price. You're always apprehensive taking your dog to the vet when they're not well. Dealing with City Centre Animal Hospital and Dr Singh has always been a great experience. We currently have no suggestions on how to improve their service.

Amazing staff, walking into the clinic you were greeted with a smile, and Dr. Singh did amazing job with keeping me informed and treating my animal. Highly, highly recommend!
