A liter is not worth 10 cents its worth 25 cents know what it's worth!
Over 1 L means anything 1 L and over. Every store charges you $0.25 cents for anything that's a liter! Know what you have before you go and always remind them that the bottles that are $0.25 cents are anything 1 L and over. Maybe then they will remember how to do there jobs!
This bottle depot is in the core of Downtown Edmonton, very close to our place. Right behind the university. Clean and spacious entrance. When somebody changes mind not to sell their bottles, can easily maneuver, overtake and leave the place. There's a water sprayer to rinse out the bottles. There are few staff that count the cans and bottles st a slow pace, bring some patience with you.
Very fast.like u can drive or stand in line up.however.i question if i got paid the proper amount.to the point where next time imma count my bottles before hand.
I've been using this place for years but I won't be back. Usually the count is pretty close to what I count on my own, but today they were way lower, missing 1/4 of my bottles. On the plus side the place is clean and efficient, obviously too efficient.
The wait wasn't very long and the employee's were all really polite, quick and efficient. That's why I always go there even though I don't close anymore.
Was fast but the emoyees need to learn how to count right i counted my botels 3 times with 2 friends and then took them in and found thet shorted us $1.25 on our bottles and mixed cans we brought in if you times that by 80 people a do thsts 80 x1.25=100 you times that by 30 thats 3 000 a.month and thats just one person and there's three wi dows I try this again in a week or so and keep you posted on whats going on there but for now I'm going else were
Very friendly and efficient staff. Their workers are always diligent in the way they count your recyclables. I highly recommend others to go check their facilities since I have been going there for over 10 yrs.
Make sure you lock your doors when you are waiting in line. Today some random dude was going around to all the cars and trying the rear passenger doors. Staff can't see this area so there wasn't much response.
My first time at this place. Got there and the line up was out the entrance. But it flowed through reasonably well. They had 3 deposit stalls. Took about 15 min from entrance to exit.
The depot itself was fine, staff are good, but I would note the location is in an area with a large vulnerable population. Ensure you take proper precautions for safety when you go.
I just went there for the 1st time today (3.30pm) and I had a good experience.
I had read some reviews before I went and i was expecting to be cheated.
I counted all my bottles, I sorted them accordingly (juice boxes in one bag, cans in one bag and 1 litres bottles in another).
Deposited the bottles and got more than what I was expecting, coin wise. The man behind the counter was nice to me. And in the end offered me a hand sanitizer wipe.
They are actually ripping me off. I was there counting. They rip you off at least 10 piece on each type, like bottle and cans. Either don’t go that location, or If you want to go to this location as you live close by like me. Dont turn away from them, count out loud to make sure they know you aren’t stupid that they could rip you off.
