My go to coffee spot when I'm downtown. Great selection of coffee beans from around the world. Hungry? Try one of their breakfast or lunch sandwiches. Good portion and always fresh.
Busy cafe but has ample seating for the size of the store. Really fun names for drinks. You know what? I appreciate that. I want to chuckle when ordering something. I want to order something absurd to the staff. But yeah good food, drinks and atmosphere
Love this place! Every thing I have ever had has been delicious, the staff are delightful and everything is always fresh. I love to sit with my friends and enjoy on a tasty sandwich and soup while appreciating the wide array of local art on the walls (that I wish I could afford to buy!). A local treasure!
City Roast is the place to go in Red Deer! Welcoming atmosphere and the nicest staff. They roast the coffee in house and the coffee is incredible. I always get the veggie sandwich/quesadilla with the hummus and it's delicious! They have non dairy options for lattes and non dairy cheese for the sandwiches.
The best cafe in Red Deer no doubt. The Wonderful atmosphere, food made with love, and expertly crafted lattes combine to provide a truly one of a kind experience, topped off with friendly, personable staff and beautiful art hung all over the walls. I'm you're gonna choose local (which you should) choose City Roast.
First time in the cafe, I love the smell of fresh coffee. Seating was great, service was great and the atmosphere was relaxing. Make sure you stop here and support your local business:)
Atmosphere is trendy and negative there are a few busy people working with no hellos or kindness. Drinks are $7 there are many different kinds. They serve old or stale food for $2 it is open to the elements on the food counter at the till. Decent price.
The service was very friendly and sweet. I got the grilled cheese sandwich and it was really good (but there was a lot of cheese on it). I also got the minty smog and it was delicious. Only thing is that I spent more than I thought I would, but I think it was worth it.
Moody and cozy. Great in house baker with daily variety of comforting goodies. Their Caramel Dream is great, far exceeds the big chain caramel lattes. Their drip coffee is okay, I prefer a medium to light roast and haven't had many of their varieties, these change regularly.
Even if coffee was good (but way too strong) I have to give 2 stars for the customer service and the inside of the shop, extremely small, not pandemic friendly and way too pricey. $8,50 for a ridiculously simple sandwich.
