A friend first brought me here and it's such a beautiful store and garden area!
Got our Christmas tree here, dog friendly, staff is always helpful. Can't say enough good things!

They do not care about their employees unless you're part of the toxic virtue-signaling bro culture or the next gen flavour of DEI. A few examples below:

- On my first day of work back in 2013 (in steel-toed boots I had to buy myself from Mark's) I was instructed by my trainer to kick some empty pot plants into place so that we could saran wrap them together in a massive stack on a pallet. I later realized I had not only badly bruised my toe, but I had terrible blisters on my heels that made it painful to walk, and I had a wicked sunburn. I was ill for a few days (which I did not get paid for either) and then returned to work the following week. Unfortunately I didn't know my worker's rights back then because I was a recent high school grad. I never made a formal complaint to WCB because I was not told that I should do so.

- No one ever gave me a proper safety orientation in 5 months of working 50 hours per week. They just started me on lifting 50 lbs bags of dirt and potted shrubs/trees from day one, with the odd "Lift with your legs! " tidbit of helpful advice occasionally thrown in.

- One of the managers once got angry with me for sitting down on an empty pot planter to rest my feet while I painstakingly pruned the shrubs on display at the front of the store. He insisted that the pruning should only take 2 minutes per shrub. My direct manager (from the greenhouse) and the landscape designer whom I worked with directly every day both agreed that his assessment was ridiculous.

- I later found out one of the other shrub girls who was hired after me (who was in my graduating class from the same high school as me) was getting paid more than me. She got to go on crews and drive the delivery trucks while I stayed behind at the store and finally got a raise after 4 months of working 10 hour days, 5 days a week, at 13$/hr. This was before the minimum wage increased to 15$/hr of course.

Would never work here again. Would not recommend you let your daughter/sister/friend work here either. And frankly, they don't treat most immigrants that well either.

They may be trying to "turn a new leaf" and look like they're forward thinkers.well, if you ask me, they're slow movers and antiquated thinkers. They still have not apologized for the absolutely sexist/racist/ageist way they treated me and many others. They regularly take advantage of young workers, including those with families, and don't offer the training needed to succeed or even just to do the job safely.

Landscaping has always been important, it’s an extension of my home, my personality. Liliia’s design captured this. Her knowledge & experience is a growing display, a beautiful enjoyment I’ll have for years. Liliia, you are a pure joy to work with, I appreciate & thank you!

The staffs are very helpful and friendly. Especially Bopenhana. She is very knowledgeable about the trees, plants. She helped us to select a quality fruit tree.

Excellent company, staff, and services.
We had the team do our vinyl fencing 7 years ago, yesterday they came out to add onto our preexisting fencing and again the team did an excellent job. As well you would never be able to tell the difference between the panels from years ago to now. The the durability is phenomenal!

Great selection, well priced and knowledgeable staff. Easy yard for maneuvering a trailer. They treat contractors really well here.
I only wish they had a second location for when we are working in the north end. Thanks for helping to make my projects run smoothly Classic.

Went to buy a gift for a friend and was helped by a lovely young lady Boperhana. She listened to what I was looking for and helped me select the perfect thing and took into the back and cleaned the dust off of it and boxed it up. She was amazing.

You get to know how good a company is when you have a problem. A recent install of 3 tress was left rather messy by the install team and not quite up to my expectation. I emailed my concern and got an immediate response and a commitment to make it right. Bryan and his team was out in 2 days and fixed the issue even better than i expected.thanks guys - Good job. I will use you again for my commercial property.

Great place with wide variety of selection and experienced staffs. Last week I ordered some Rundle rocks and they suppose to deliver on driway but ended up delivered in road side.when I complain to the staff Patty she arranged with delivery team and cleared in couple hours. I could some items are cheaper than Home depot and Rona but trees are comparatively expensive as I noted. Hope they will sell consider this for low profile customers.

Came many times for pickup of mulch and rock. Since my brother's truck was stolen and I couldnt find an alternate truck, all I had for transport was a smaller Geo metro convertible car (think tuna can), thus had to shovel and bag 2 yards of ebony mulch and 1/2 a yard of white crystal rock- obviously segmented in like 6 trips back and forth.

Reed Josey went above and beyond to help me shovel it into the bags with zero complaints at all. Another tall blond fellow helped initially but made it very clear this was just a one time occurrence because he was being nice (and I thanked him sincerely for his help with 1/2 a yard of shovelling).

Reed helped not only with the yard of mulch but also shoveled and placed 1/4 yard of very heavy rock into my vehicle- ABOVE AND BEYOND SERVICE!

He said he'd gladly help out again, so not to hesitate, and when I came back, a few days later he was unavailable because he was on lunch but Jory helped with a yard of mulch over 2 separate trips without complaints also.

I came back thar day for a 3rd trip for another 1/4yard of rock and both Reed and Jory helped and I brought them both a slurpee as a sincere thank you- they helped me so much. I had previously asked Jory what type of cold beer he would like and he said he couldn't accept that; yet, I brought them both a cold slurpee anyways for the 3rd trip, as hardworking men need something cold and refreshing after a lot of manual labor in the sun.

I have been coming to Classic since 2017 for 5 loads of gravel, 2 loads of topsoil (placed into a truck and shoveled out by myself solo), 2 yards of ebony mulch, and 1/2 a yard of crystal rock (this year- 2022). I really appreciated the above and beyond service these gentlemen showed a lady without a truck at her disposal. They went above and beyond and helped me so much, and while I still had a lot of work hauling the heavy bags of rock and the much easier bags of mulch and spreading them at my home, the willingness to help with the shoveling and placing in my vehicle saved a lot of wear and tear on my middle aged body.

From the amazing staff working in the store, to the driver that delivered our load of mulch, everyone was so great to work with! This is the only place we will go for our landscaping and gardening needs.

Classic Landscape made pick up of our materials easy and cost effective. Our loads of sod and rocks were packaged and waiting for us when we arrived. They also delivered a truckload of soil with care and professionalism. Thanks Classic for making this the easiest part of our do-it-yourself “small” front yard make-over.

Real pre-cut Christmas trees! The nice gentleman even carried my tree to my vehicle! Went after work and it was nice and quiet!

Beautiful new location. I love the atmosphere they've given the store at Christmas and the tree bobbles are adorable.

I bought all my trees and shrubs there this year, the price and selection are great, however, the management and after sales service in your company is just terrible! All the cashiers doesn’t know how to handle the situation, One of my tree is dead, need a replacement, I don’t have my invoice anymore, and it wasn’t in my account for some reason, I pull out the bank statement and all the info, kindly asked them give me a call when they find it, a month or two later still no answer!

I never have a problem the few times I'm here. The staff is more than happy to help, and they go above and beyond. Getting bulk materials, the yard staff is friendly and helpful as well, and they are concerned about overloading the vehicle.

Liliia was an absolute pleasure to work with. Her vision and design brought our landscaping to life. She listened to what our end goal was and unquestionably met our expectations.
Liliia and the crew at Classic Landscaping were very professional, courteous and kept the site clean and tidy. We had both our front and backyard completed; everything from underground sprinklers, stone work, installing trees, shrubs and grass. Having a company that can deliver the design and perform all the installation, removed a lot of the stress and coordination that would normally be required.   We would definitely recommend Liliia and Classic Landscaping to all of our friends and family.

This place offers a variety of plants that are in good conditions. I could go to Home Depot or Canadian tire to pick up plants but I go here when I need a healthier and well maintained plant (or specific plants you are looking for other than whats offered on the shelf) as well as great customer services. The staff here are very knowledgeable about what they are doing and they are super friendly. I put my name on for the rubber plants and they called to let me know when they arrived. I expected one kind of plant but they came in two different types of rubber plants and I end up getting all. They provided a care sheet and useful tips. I will definitely come back for more plants to complete my living room.

We needed help with some landscaping renovations. Liliia met with us several times and established a plan that was completed by a hard working team. We are more than happy with the results!

Had great service inside the store but once we went out to the shipping yard we were left to load rocks and try to lift them into my car by ourselves. The amount you can load into a bag is a great deal but they are very difficult to lift, once they are full, as someone who is getting up in age LOL

The company i work for has been buying some landscaping supplies for years and they always have perfect quality and experience by their side.

Trying to get a replacement tree for backyard, buddy very helpful, show us around with different kinds, now we know better which one to go with. Awsome place! Awsome employee!

Having some things going sideways in my "mature" yard, I've needed advice. I've asked for it from every greenhouse I've been to in the last couple years but I never got any real useful information.

Then I had the good fortune of meeting Liliia Khomich. Wow! She walked through our yard, observing every leaf and twig, and with a stream of rapid-fire information I learned about pruning, fertilizing, disease, cross-pollinators, watering. Liliia answered every question I had and made suggestions for things I hadn't even thought about. She was like a walking encyclopedia.

I would highly recommend Liliia Khomich. In fact, if you get to meet her and work with her, you are one lucky person!

A nice place with a decent selection. Now that Ellerslie gift and garden is moved in the same location it may get busy. And hopefully it will fill up with alot more plants and home products. Didn't see alot of the indoor plants in stock when I visited though.

After 19 years, it was time for a backyard makeover. We contacted Classic Landscapes and Liliia Khomich answered the call. From our initial consultation with Liliia, we knew she was the right person for the job – she was personable, knowledgeable, and professional. We hired Classic this spring to design and construct our front and back yards on a new lot. Liliia Khomich was Awesome! Her designs and knowledge were amazing. I was there few months ago looking for a tree for my backyard. Caitlyn and Alma were really kind, polite and helpful. Alma was so knowledgable and provided us with great customer service. She took the time to explain each plants pros and cons in details. She then altered everything depending on our needs vs wants and our likes and dislikes. Alma is truly an asset to your company.

We had a great experience with Liliia and her team! We are so thankful that they worked hard to be able to finish our landscaping before the winter and we are very happy with the result. Liliia was great at keeping us up to date with the progress and she had some great ideas to incorporate into our design. We highly recommend Liliia and Classic Landscapes and would definitely use them again.

Project began around the dinner table when as a family we talked about what we would like to see to improve our front, side and rear landscaping. We selected Classic from a group of three based on references, cost and availability. Liliia with Classic reviewed our initial ideas and offered suggestions and insights based on her experience. On the second meeting we settled on a design, which Liliia then put to paper for our review, which included a rough cost estimate. These discussions were during winter with snow on the ground but we were able to provide summer photos to refer to. Some minor plan changes were made afterwards coming from each party. Final plan on paper done to scale was received for our review and sign-off on the quote. After this point in time, changes to the plan having an affect on cost resulted in formal change orders via simple exchange of emails.

Work began on schedule. The crew on site was clearly experienced and were familiar with the plan. They were excellent at contacting us in person or by text message when decisions needed to be made on the fly as to how to accomplish a particular component of the plan when there was more than one way to do it. They would frequently have their own recommendation on how to proceed but as much as possible they looked to us to be involved in day to day decisions. Liliia made three site visits during the project, which was completed in early August 2018. A hard landscaping issue unanticipated by neither us nor Classic took some time to understand but was ultimately completely resolved.

In May 2019, of the approximately 130 shrubs and perennials Classic planted in 2018 there were four that did not survive the winter and we utilized their one –year guarantee to have them replaced at no cost. We chose to do the re-planting ourselves. Post-winter all three paving stone patios were solid with negligible shifting or settling.

We continue to receive positive comments from neighbours on the design and execution of this landscaping project and are very pleased with the end product. Even with not-yet-matured shrubs and perennials we were nominated by our neighbours for a Front Yard in Bloom award!

Classic Landscape has always been highly professional and friendly. Quotes are provided quickly. The work is completed to quote, with no 'hidden costs" and the work is thorough and well done with quality products. While working they even stacked my kids hockey pucks lost in the shrubs!

The staff here are very knowledgeable and friendly! They gave us several options to help keep our landscaping supply cost low, which we really appreciated as we needed a very small quantity. Their yard was large and well organized. The guys in the back are quick to check our receipt and round up what we needed.

They’re very upfront with their costs as everything is listed online so you know your exact cost before going in. We will definitely use them again to finish the rest of our yard!

Lainy Abbott, a professional Green Thumb assisted me in purchasing over 40 different plants, trees and shrubs. With a simple drawing and photo of my project she was quickly able to pick plants most suited for the location. To think I'd initially come to purchase 5 pieces of sod lol. That's great sales.
She then realized I didn't have room in my truck for all of the product so she offered to assist in deliverinh to the nearby location as she was just completing her shift and said it was no trouble.

Finally, an Edmonton Contractor that knows what they're doing. Classic did a great job on my large backyard project. Some challenges with weather delays at the start but can't control the weather. Some communication issues as well until Liliia took over my project. Immediately felt some assurances and a new confidence in Classic. Late season but they managed to get it done before the snow arrived. Looks amazing too, very very happy. I would recommend Classic for sure.

Great prices on trees and landscaping boulders! I'd take a look here for larger 2-3inch caliper trees as their prices are much lower than your traditional greenhouse. They have good prices on delivery and install, very professional!

I had a lot of landscaping questions regarding my front yard. The staff are very knowledgeable and were able to answer all of my questions. When one staff wasn't sure, they found another staff to help.

We used Classic Landscapes to complete all of our landscaping for us. The entire process was great and ran smoothly. Liliia helped us with the design process in the beginning and was a great wealth of knowledge. We knew a little bit of what we wanted, but didn’t have the knowledge and know how. Liliia took the reins, and we are so thankful for her expertise. The team that came and executed Liliia’s plan were all great and professional as well. We were pleased from start to finish.

Even though I don't live in Edmonton I've reached out on a few occasions for help with our sprinkler system as I cannot find parts locally. They've always been very helpful and knowledgeable!
