Clay & Cupcakes ~ A Sweet Place To Paint Pottery

In short - terrible business practice and ethics, and abysmal customer service.

We booked a group session with them and had the owner trash-talking one of their competitors, saying they were leagues better than them. This is not only false but reflects poorly on business practice and ethics. We should have picked up on this and said 'No' the moment they began saying things like this.

On the occasion of our booking, they rushed the group to get out the door and none of the people invited had a pleasant experience because of it. When they called to have us pick up the pottery, we showed up and they told us that we'd have to come back because they couldn't find our pieces anymore.

Just such unprofessional, poor business practice at this place. Save yourself the insane cost and go elsewhere.

Great creative shop for kids and adults to be able to paint pottery.

We just visited with a group and all the kids seemed to really enjoy the activity.

My 4YR old daughter and I love toddler Tuesdays. They’re so accommodating and we have an absolute blast making little keepsakes.

I've come here many times now with friends, every time is a blast! Super clean and bright inside, they've got a good selection of ceramics and paints, and the cupcakes are delicious. Definitely recommend for anyone looking to get a little crafty!

It was fun but expensive. It would nice if there were $18 - $25 options more available. Also if you go with kids have patience. The owner or manager was amazing and so sweet!

This was a cute this hidden gem. Lots of variety for painting. So many colors. The environment is so calm and the Cupcakes are delicious! Will definitely be returning!

My friends and I participated in the Wednesday glass fusion class. I was very happy with our time there and with the instructor who was friendly, knowledgeable and detailed in her instructions to ensure we were successful. I would most definitely take another class there and not just glass fusion. Plus, the cupcakes were delicious! The best of both worlds, art and cupcakes.

I am in love with the place.the owner and all the staff here are lovely, helpful and very knowledgeable. I came here last three Mondays had a blast time painting. It’s very therapeutic for us. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to try painting for fun.

Tons of fun, you can pick out your piece to paint and it’s a relaxing few hours while you chat and get creative. Definitely would go back again!

Awesome experience! Went for a double date here and the atmosphere, creative outlet, and cupcakes were so delicious. Also loved that the price indicated on each piece is the full price including paints and kiln firing. It made everything transparent. Service was superb and the variety of pieces made everyone find the right one for their tastes. Highly recommend.

Enjoyed a great afternoon at Clay and Cupcakes. Supportive staff. Super helpful owner. She goes out of her way to ensure you get the effect you’re going for on your piece and makes sure you’re having a great time while doing it. Super knowledgeable.
Only takes about a week or so to get your piece back. Great atmosphere!

Great selection of ceramics to paint at various price points. I can't wait to see how my cookie jar turns out after it is fired.

What turned me off, if you host birthday parties for CHILDREN, should be prepared for the noise!
The children were asked to keep it quiet while they were celebrating within reasonable noise and that didn't sit well with me as the kids were simply enjoying a good time!

Cute place, friendly staff and the only thing that could make it better was better lighting. It's dark in there with lots of casted shadows fire painting.

I cannot rave about Tzana and her staff enough! Always super accommodating and helpful! They have so many items to choose from and will always give advice if you ask. Birthday parties are a smash hit and absolutely amazing. I go regularly and enjoy every minute of it. This is my go to for some time to myself with my friend. Keep up the amazing work Clay and Cupcakes!

This is my second visit with friends at Clay & Cupcakes, and we always have a great time! Lots of cool pottery pieces to choose from, Tzana and her staff are so welcoming and friendly. We attended the Harry Potter night and we all had so much fun! We will definitely be back for more!:)

Great idea for a girls night out or childrens birthday. And the cupcakes are so yummy. Love the new owner also

My experience with them was good at first for my daughters party but it was just rushed and we felt like they just wanted us out of there and hovering it was very disappointing but overall it was really fun painting and seeing what the kids came up with just hope it's a different overall experience for someone.

Treated my daughter and her friends to an afternoon here.so glad I made reservations because it was super busy, being a Saturday and starting of Spring Break. It got to be quite crowded while trying to look at all of the pieces along the walls.the lady at the front desk was super friendly and explained the whole process.some of the pricing seemed quite high but includes eveything (paint and firing) they have a good assortment of paint colors to choose from.would definitely go here again.

My 8 yo and 4 yo both had fun picking out their pieces and painting them. They have a clean accessible space with a clean bathroom. The paint selection was huge and so was the pottery pieces you could choose from. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. Would recommend booking your spot in advance on weekends. We will be back

Tzana has owned & operated this gem of a spot since right before covid started. I planned my daughters 7th birthday party here over the weekend. I’ve hosted many parties and I can honestly say, this is the first time I’ve actually been able to enjoy my child’s party. Super organized without any chaos, which is a big win win for me! We chose the “Razzle Dazzle” package and the delivery of the entire party did not disappoint! My birthday girl and all of her friends had a great time and enjoyed a new experience. We had our own private party area in the back of the establishment, each child was able to pick out their own unique piece to paint, delicious cheese pizza, a large gourmet cupcake each, as well as a yummy juice box! I highly recommend Clay & Cupcakes! Tzana is an amazing human being and takes great pride in her business! I’m looking forward to doing an adult girls night out next! Go check it out!
