CIGI compost is a superior product, we have used there compost yearly for quite sometime.
This organization has also stepped up and holds fundraisers yearly for the for local scouting groups which has been exceptional assistance for many youth in the city. Composting is an important part of the future and supporting organization such as CIGI is highly important

People at Cleanit Greenit are truely passionate about making this planet a better place. The compost is great and the service wonderful. This world needs more companies like Cleanit Greenit!

One of the very few companies that care about the environment and help to reuse organic waste and give back essential nutrients to the soil instead of destroying it even more. Really hard work, sadly poorly appreciated!

Last fall we purchased 6 cubic yards of compost from Cleanit Greenit. We spread it out on our garden beds and this spring we planted right into the compost. The results were tremendous. We have been gardening for 35 years and have never had results like this. Carrots, beets, broccoli, beans, potatoes, tomatoes, etc. All wonderful. We just purchased more to add a thin layer for next spring's planting. I have to add the staff have been wonderful to work with. Many thanks.

Place smells like dead carcasses and pollutes the west side of the city with that beyond awful smell.last I heard they were being fined for the smell, how do they keep getting fined but not shut down?

As a high school science teacher and passionate environmentalist, I am so glad that Cleanit Greenit exists! Cleanit Greenit solidifies the lessons that I teach my students (and other residents of Edmonton) who are curious about the beauty and importance of compost in diverting waste from landfills and amending soil of local farms and home gardens around the city. A huge thanks to Kirstin and the rest of the Cleanit Greenit staff for being such professional and responsive stewards of Edmonton's environmental commitments!

The horrible smell you often notice on the northwest corner of the Henday is from this facility - and it is so bad that the communities around that area are desperate to get anyone to help shut this place down. Do not support this company.

My experience with Cleanit Greenit compost has been nothing but positive. They have helped us with our fundraising efforts, are constantly communicative, organized and professional.

Cleanit Greenit is an amazing business that helps divert organic wastes from landfills thereby reducing greenhouse gases emissions. The organic compost returns valuable nutrients to the soil to help maintain soil quality and fertility. Their annual compost sale gives back to the communities and provides excellent quality soil for those who participate. Very proud to have Cleanit Greanit as a local business in our city.

As a resident in a neighboring community, the odor that emanates from this facility is overpowering and nauseating at best. And unfortunately we get at least a couple of hours of odor multiple times a week. When we are really unlucky, we get to smell the rancid air for hours on end almost nightly. It is causing health issues for many people in our community. Not good neighbors

This place is stinking the whole west end. I live in lewis estates and my daughter won't sleep in her room because of smell. Plz city, do something.

The smell coming from this place is absolutely horrendous. Any hot day the air smells like rotton eggs, or rancid manure. Thanks for making the west end of the city unlivable.

I don't know what they turn into organic but smell from company spreading all around west side. If you passing on Antony Handley on exit for Jasper you will smell in you car. Its toxic and give heartache.
Honestly no idea how they do business and why they dont get tickets for smell. Is not healthy at all, so turn off vents in your car if you passing near to Japser exit.

The CEO of this company is either lying about not receiving HUNDREDS of calls about the horrific smell, or she has her head in the sand. The chemicals in the air are killing my health. I wake up drenched in sweat, nauseous, with migraines daily because of the smell, I literally look forward to going away just so I can sleep and wake up feeling like a normal human being. This is impacting the lives of people who have lived here for over twenty years, I can honestly say I've been dealing with this for two thirds of my life. I love living in the west end and shouldn't have to move because the city, province, and CEO of this company won't do the right thing. There's a reason Edmonton's other composting facility melted the roof of their building - these chemicals are rancid, toxic, and we are forced to breathe them in. It is not sewer smell, no other part of the city has this issue.

A good, neighboring business not far from my home. Very rarely do we pick up an odor from this business and when we do, we do NOT find it offensive.

People that are complaining about this business.did you not bother to research your area before building or buying? You are near an industrial area. The rare odor is to be expected.

People who complain about this are similar to idiots who build near a farm and then complain about "farm" odors and try to get the farm shut down.

Don't do business with this business. The owner of this company is not very socially responsible. They value money over people's health.

It's criminal that this kind of facility can operate inside city limits. It frequently causes an extremely foul, pungent odor to waft over all of West Edmonton. You can smell the distinct odor every time you drive by Cleanit Greenit on the Anthony Henday. Right now the smell is so strong and disgusting I had to close my windows on a beautiful summer evening because my entire house is filling with this rank smell. This has been an issue for years. Enough is enough.

Cleanit Greenit has a compost site on the west side of Edmonton. I love that we have local Edmontonians making such a big environmental difference! I buy compost from them every year at their fundraiser in May (they donate their fantastic compost to local groups who sell it to fundraise for various causes). This company is taking the unwanted parts of businesses (grass clippings, food scraps, ect.) and turning it into a fantastic natural product for the city residents to enjoy. I couldn't recommend this company highly enough, and from an eco-friendly perspective they are positively impacting the society!
