UPDATE 2024: I am blown away by the customer service from clearview! I had a furnace warranty issue and they had it solved within 4 business hours without any Hassel. They are easy to contact and responsive. I will continue using their service!

I am disappointed that the Goodman furnace they installed is considered a 'budget Friendly' brand with average quality. Same for the bradford white water heater which I've read is a bare minimum heater.

I chose Clearview because I wanted it done right the first time. I think their service and install quality is top notch.

Given that Clearview's prices are not for the budget conscience, I would have liked to have a better quality furnace supplied to me or even offered to me. This is the reason that a perfect score was not given - everything else was top notch

Clearview has always provided professional and timely service for us. They've provided us a number of solutions including furniture maintenance and repair, a/c maintenance, and hot water tank replacement with an on-demand boiler

Heinz did a great job of replacing our reverse osmosis system. He double checked the system after he installed it and noticed that one of the t-valves was leaking. He ordered a new part and replaced it. We are looking forward to using the new HERO system once it is up and delivery water that is filtered. He explained that the previous system was leaking due to metal t-valves that were very faulty. The previous system did a lot of damage to an adjacent office in our basement where the piping leaked majorly on the way to the basement bathroom's reverse osmosis water faucet. What a mess it was, but now it is repaired. Thanks Heinz for a great job!

I’d give a 4 or 5 star review if it was based on just the techs. The front end staff is awful to deal with. Too many moving parts and unorganized.

Terrible experience! We had a technician named Gabe come out because our tankless hot water system was making a strange noise. He told us the entire system needed to be replaced, quoting us between $7000-$12000 and pressuring us to make a decision that day. We decided to get another opinion, had another company come out and flush/de-scale the tankless for $250 and now it works fine! I tried to talk to customer service but never got a call back. These guys are dishonest scammers and don't care about business integrity or customer service. DO NOT USE THEM!

BEWARE THE SCAM

Here's how this scam works. They get you to agree to paying 75$ for them to just come over to look at the problem. When they get there they quote you a outrageous price.for example, my clogged sink was minimum $900 for the snake and $1800 for the premium snake.

They know they made $75 already so they can risk trying to rip you off. They could make a business driving around town wasting peoples time and still make $75.

They were going to charge me $1800 for a clogged sink and $75 for just coming out to see it for 15 minutes and another $100 for a bottle of Draino.

Did I mention the guy didn't even show up with the equipment to do the work. He said he had to drive back to the shop to get it once I agreed to the quote.

They definitely gouge you.

I ended up calling another plumber that unclogged my sink for $200 in the time it took these thieves to quote me.

This company definitely has fake 5 star reviews.

My A/C unit quit while I was away and need it fixed as my son was at home. Selected ClearView based on radio ad. They charged for travel to my house (no issue) and the diagnostic (again, no issue). The only issue I had was the grossly overpriced part I was charged for. I know the value of the part and the cost. Unfortunately, was in a bit of a bind and needed the unit fixed. Too bad they decided to charge what they did for the part.

Clearview was outstanding, again. My AC / furnace stopped working this past weekend. Clearview came out on Monday and figured out the problem immediately (AC drain plugged and leaking water on the control board). Luckily no there was no permanent damage to the circuitry. Sheldon, the tech, was great. He was very measured and clearly explained what the problem was. Great work Clearview!

A little on the expensive side ($380 to cut out and replace a dishwasher feed line shutoff valve) but they did good work and were easy enough to deal with.

On the hottest day in Calgary's history our AC stopped working. I called a number of companies and one was a call center in India, others were fill out an online form and we will get back to you, etc. Clearview was the first company that had a human answer the phone and they were a Calgary based company. In less than 2 hours Sully was here and he diagnosid the problem and was able to get it running again.

Quote & edit to work completed. Gas line correction & plumbing service. The service worker was on time, quick, knowledgable and offered solutions that seemed straight forward. The office person that arranged the appointment was very thorough, efficent and knowlegable. It was refreshing to have such a competent & professional company.

The installation went very well. A few months down the road, I've noticed there was a billing discrepancy from Clearview. I brought it up to them and they graciously reimbursed. Really appreciate the care and the great customer service experience.

Sully came to run diagnostics on my A/C unit after having been serviced by another company and instantly found the problem. He made a video of the fluctuations of the refrigerant flow and provided details of what needs to be done. He was professional, knowledgeable and quite personable.
I would highly recommend Sully and ClearView Services for any HVAC issues.

Despite being busy with an unusual Calgary heat wave, John and ClearView have been responsive, polite, professional, and trustworthy. I highly recommend their attentive service.

Best service ever! I called and within 30 minutes the technician was here and did an amazing job. He was professional, friendly and fast. He fixed what Home Depot failed at. Never buy an appliance from Home Depot but if you do, these guys will make it right! 100% would use their services again.

We have worked with ClearView for 6 years. Mostly annual maintenance. If we ever have problems they come right away, always provide clear and thorough information, and service is consistently excellent. Highly recommend.

Call for a clogged drain. They said they charge a travel fee and then quote the job onsite. If they told me that they were going to charge $900 to snake a kitchen sink i would have told them on the phone to get lost but they charge you to get on site and then hit you with ridicules prices. Called another guy, 20 min, $100 including travel time and was done.call them if you want to get ripped off.

Great service! Will definitely call on them again. They took their time explaining everything and answered all my questions. Very clean, polite and professional.

Got furnace installed by clearview 8 months ago but no chimney liners installed, have been following with them for last 8 months, still no timeline to get it fixed. Bad customer service.

Sheldon K is a true professional. He is not only extremely qualified and competent, but he is also kind and helpful. I would definitely recommend Clearview, Sheldon took the time to ensure my new thermostat was set up for my preferences so I know I’ll be all good come winter.

I have used this business in the past and was impressed with their service, however, this time I scheduled an appointment two weeks ago and checked when I scheduled it that they would service my area. I have had no shower for two weeks and was willing to wait because I felt they were the firm I wanted to deal with. TODAY, when I was expecting them to arrive I got a call advising that I would have to find someone else because I was outside of the service area. Surely, they must have known that when they booked the appointment as we went through my address and my location and I was pleased and surprised when they told me they could service my area and booked right away. I even went as far as to confirm that they had checked and they did service my area because the wait was more than two weeks for them to come. NEVER AGAIN. And there is nothing I can do about it except try to find someone else and most likely wait another period of time. UNPROFESSIONAL, DISAPPOINTING AND NOT THE WAY TO DO BUSINESS.

I had high hopes with all the great reviews. Tech came in- was inside for maybe 15 mins- bad mouthed our furnace maintenance company (which have kept our old furnace going) threw numbers at us- like 25,000 for a split a/c heater that worked in winter, and told us they had financing. After that- never even sent us an actual estimate- but was outside for 30 min.

Prompt. Professional. Friendly. Good communication scheduling a service call. We were provided several options with no sales pressure to make a decision. Answered all of our questions and provided good product information.

Our installation tech Amin and all of the Clearview staff were terrific. Installation was professional and well done and we’re very happy we had our air conditioner replaced by Clearview

I was having some issues with my toilet, my landlord contacted ClearView and Yamil was here the next morning. Yamil was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. The toilet ended up needing to be replaced, Yamil worked quickly and had the old one out and the new one installed in no time. I would highly recommend calling him, excellent service!

My furnace died in the night, i called Clearview and they sent Gerry Hurtuibuise to me right away. Gerry was very friendly and quickly was able to diagnose and present options for repair. This is the second time i have used Clearview in an emergency and would highly recommend them to anyone with plumbing or heating needs.

My on demand hot water died on the weekend, John came out and diagnosed and presented options. I decided to go with a new unit vs fixing an old - inferior one. John and team took great care by explaining option, communicating the timing and completing the work. I am on Clearview’s monthly plan and couldn’t be happier. The discount on the new equipment because I’m on the plan is now more than paid for. I have peace of mind with Clearview and when you have people like John, it’s an easy decision.
