FAKE RATES. They towed my car from my own spot. A random amount that’s hefty. They aren’t really understanding of your own personal 250 but they’re charging me for almost $400. Even with proof of ownership & pass, they will charge you an arm & a leg. If your condo board has a contract with them, fight it. If you’re a condo board, they’ll charge an abnormal amount to your tenants. Don’t work with them.

Following a water main break on my street, which caused a sink hole to open up under my neighbors car, the city workers were obligated to call Cliffs towing for assistance with the sunken vehicle. After 5.5 hours of waiting for Cliffs to arrive (thus allowing water main repairs to commence) a Cliffs driver showed, looked at the scenario, and without any discussion, or even getting out of his truck, he simply drove away. After more time spent waiting, another Cliffs truck arrived, and with direction from Epcor and City workers, the casualty was removed, allowing work to finally commence.
Given the choice, I would call anyone but Cliffs, and based on the conversation with Epcor and City workers, they will too (given the option).

I called the night my car got towed around 10: 40pm to ask how much the fee I will be charged to pick up my car. The lady on the phone named PATRICIA said it will be around $250. I asked if that was the base fee and if my car would get charged additional fees being kept there the night of and the next day. She rudely explained saying the $250 is what I would pay and there’s no additional fees for 24hrs and it would be $60 per day past 24hr mark.

I called the next day to double check what the address was so I can pick up my vehicle. I was not sure if there were multiple locations so I wanted to make sure I was picking it up at the right address. I got PATRICIA on the line again and she rudely said “you verified this already yesterday”. Which is not true because I never asked for the address. I then asked what the address was and with a condescending tone, she replied.

I immediately picked up my car after the call to my surprise, the receptionist charged me $320. I asked her why I was being charged that much and she said they charge storage fees every day. I explained to her what PATRICIA explained to me the night before and she explained what PATRICIA said was incorrect and she never heard that before.

I am appalled with the service I received from PATRICIA and I hope she doesn’t treat future callers like that again. It’s an awful experience for people to get their car towed and to pay such a large fine. The last thing we want is for a rude employee to add to that. PATRICIA isn’t the right fit for her position as she is condescending, rude, and not knowledgeable about the right fees she advised me.

Just had my Chevy taken to the shop, by non other then the man the myth the legend him self Dan the man, showed up on time and delivery with a smile, I would call them anytime!

Excellent service. Will be using them again. Thanks for transporting my journey to the car doctor. Driver was exceptional and would recommend them to anyone

This is a company which is dishonest, unprofessional and lacks transparency… I don’t know if it’s because they are always busy hence they customer service is always making mistakes, that I don’t know.

I went to pickup my vehicle at Cliff. Side note: my car was dead so I asked to get it towed back to my house.

The lady took my address and all the other details. Then had my car towed to the wrong address at James Mowatt but I live in Mill woods and still made me pay for the back and forth.

Her last statement was “it’s either you pay or you car sleeps in our yard. ”At this point I knew I was cheated on and because I was desperate there is nothing I could do.

If you deal with these guys I feel sorry for you in advance. Stay alert

Called and book a towing and they managed to make time for me even though I needed a low clearance truck and most trucks were on standby for street cleaning. When they arrived the tow truck driver Naveed went above and beyond not only doing a great job quickly and safely getting my vehicle to it's destination but also gave helpful suggestions for where I can go to get work done on the car.

Naveed was my driver and was unbelievably professional. Showed up earlier than quoted, and was beyond friendly and positive. He even helped with a possible diagnosis with my vehicle. Will use again!

I've gotten the same tow truck driver multiple times now! And it's the reason I use them and call them first. My work truck broke down and my personal truck more recently. I think I freaked him out (Shawn, Sean Shaun whichever way it's spelled) by citing facts about him when he pulled up to me lol

Speedy and professional! The customer service representative I dealt with was very friendly and answered all my questions. The driver showed up 30 minutes later, was very friendly, and patient while I made my report at the Collision Report Centre. Highly recommend!

Cliffs towing is the best towing company in Edmonton. The staff is helpful and Patt Smith is a wonderful and polite person to deal with at the company.

The dispatcher tried to lecture me about how I shouldn't be upset about somebody blocking my stall because of how cold it is and then proceeded to hang up the phone lol

Car broke down in a very busy street. Scottie was my rescue hero that day very friendly and put my mind at ease after a very stressful day took me to my chosen mechanic Great Service reasonably priced

Company is full of lairs. Never using them again. I would rather push my car 100km then deal with these con artists. If I could give a negative rating I would. Stay clear from Cliff towing.

I typically dont do a lot of reviews but in this instance it was worth it. Dispatch was very kind and helpful when i called in. The tow truck was here in a very timely matter despite how busy they must be. Shaun, the man on site was OUTSTANDING. Very knowledgeable and professional. He answered any and all questions i had about the process, and it was stressless and painfree for me, which is ultimately the goal! Thank you Cliff's Towing!

I called the company for towing. They answered after 7 minutes ringing and after getting my information the company rep, Monica, told me that they will come in 1.5 to max. 2 hours. They didn't show up and I called them back and they didn't pick the phone up. After 15 minutes ringing, as soon as I said my name, the company rep hung up the phone. I believe Cliffs has other purpose than doing business, otherwise, wouldn't waste the customer's time by promising the service which they don't care.

Driver came on estimated time. Was very professional and prompt. Was a good experience will definitely call Cliffs again if need be. Driver definitely knew what he was doing.

Came downtown to pick my car up at 12: 30 in the morning. A 1940 Oldsmobile Coupe. The operator was very careful and caring in how he hooked up and towed my vehicle. I was invited to ride home with the tow truck operator. Cliffs Transport was very reasonable in the manner of billing. Overall a good and professional Company experience.

My motorcycle died on me downtown Edmonton. The dispatcher was super friendly and had a truck out to us quick. Dan was our tow truck driver and he was great - helpful, friendly, professional. He even called later in the evening to confirm everything went well.

My Daughter's vehicle was broken into Sunday evening and disabled so we needed to tow it to her apartment. Called a few so called "24 Hour" towing companies and got either no answers or " it will be a couple hours". Cliffs responded and showed up in 15 mins! The driver Naveed, (apologies if I've spelled his name wrong) was super friendly and helpful. He even helped us push her vehicle into the parkade at her apartment. This is what a towing company should be like! Thanks again Cliffs!

This company is irresponsible and uses inappropriate techniques with low oversight of their workers. Would not trust, there are many other companies available and I would suggest going elsewhere for reliable and professional service.

Called yesterday to get a broken down skid steer moved.they moved it within the hour and was way cheaper then I expected. Thanks everyone defiantly recomend

A bit of a wait, but very good service from our tow driver (Rick I think?). We would definitely call them again if we were in a bind.

Called cliffs when I was in a bind yesterday and nobody else seemed to be able to help or without charging me the price of the moon. Had an issue starting my motorcycle, and after it wouldn’t hold a boost/charge tried to call around and cliffs had the fastest response time and friendliest and easiest customer service. They came quick and efficiently, and even though the fella helping me was new to the company (naveen I believe) was such a standup guy and made me feel more then comfortable and reassured. Highly recommend this service, coming from a small town I hate dealing with the toxic city company’s but cliffs new how to personalize and make me feel like a priority. And the price wasn’t bad at all! Thanks again to all the guys at cliffs, and a special thanks to the new fella who helped me

Gentleman that came to help me get into my car (his name was either Colby or Cody, forgive me for not recalling exactly) was professional and very friendly.
He made quick work of it.

Cliffs Transport Recovery is by far the best out there and the customer services that Trach and Steve provides are excellent and. I will definitely recommend and will use their services, Thank you Mrs Trach and Mr steve for the Great services your are provided me and Your are Amazing, keep doing what you do. Awesome service. Very careful with my car as it is a rare classic I was concerned and requested a deck. Driver and safety crew were wonderful and respectful. I usually don't have good things to say in reviews so it is nice to write a positive review for a change.

Validate if the Caller is Authorized to call a tow company to tow somebody's car.its very frustrating when you supposed to go to work and you can't see your car at your parking stall, i was worried and reported to police that my car is stolen from own parking stall.we live in this apartment complex for 2 yrs and this the first time that happened to us, and the manager doesn't have any idea who did it, and i know that because she will take a picture of the car that is unfamiliar to her then asked every tenant who owns it.you guys took ONLY $423 in total from me i hope you guys are happy.
1.) we supposed to take our son to stollery hospital for an emergency early in the morning but you guys took my car.
2.) second time i supposed to go to work but again you took my car so i did not make any money.

Just because somebody called anonymously you will tow a car without car visitor pass. You should verify first with the owner of the apartment parking slot or call the management because even the resident manager is not aware who is reporting as well. Even without visitors pass attached on the car we have the right on the parking slot. Call the management before towing!

This company towed my mother's vehicle while she was parked in a designated parking stall rented by my sister. She didn't get any notice and thought her vehicle was stolen for the last two weeks. They towed her vehicle without confirmation of the parking stall being rented by my sister, without even notifying her and are holding her vehicle until she pays 800+ even tho they towed her vehicle for no reason. This is theft

They flat towed my friends golf R while it was in gear with the ebrake on and destroyed the engine, clutch, transmission/trasfer case and brakes.

A while ago I was bringing a vehicle back from another city for work and I broke down. Called Cliffs and they were very helpful and took no time at all to come rescue me when I broke down out of town! Thanks for the help! Will used again

Neil from Cliffs towing happened to come across my wallet in a parking lot. At the time I had no clue I had even lost it. I received a Facebook message from him saying he found it and was coming to bring it to me. He brought me back everything right away. This was such a compassionate and kind gesture. He could’ve left it with one of the shops but he took the time out of his day to contact me and bring it to me. This situation could’ve gone in a different direction but because of Neil my personal belongings were safe. Thank you again Neil, you made my day!

Booked an appointment, it was not honoured. Then they strung me along for nearly 8 hours, and didn’t show. No one at the company took any accountability or responsibility for the error. The worse service I’ve experienced anywhere, in any type of business.

The Tow was actually for my Girl Friend’s car. The guy who answered the phone after 11pm probably hated his job or something, was rude and not so “professional” when they are the ones getting the business. No wonder this company has the worst rating for a towing company.

One of my sons vehicle, his baby, wouldn't start during the cold snap. Towing companies were swamped. Called Cliffs, gave info for pick up and drop off, quoted price (was cheaper than I thought), was given a window of time for pick up and that the driver would call when on their way. Driver called on way, hooked up, dropped vehicle at service garage and put keys in drop box. Great communication. Happened just like they said with NO issues:) driver was in great spirits even working in extreme cold. Thanks Cliffs. Fantastic job to all parties involved!

Very bad service they are big time cheaters. Never on time and very expensive. I know some local companies doing great job at half of the price. Promised to pick up my truck yesterday and did not show up set appointment for today and now still sitting and waiting from Las 2 hours. Called them and keep lying. Only using them due to company contract.
