One of the best consignment shops in town! I ALWAYS get complements on my finds from Clothing Bar and people are surprised because it's great quality and condition.
I would LOVE to see them open a bigger space as my only hesitation to visit is the space is often busy (Thankfully they have online and story sales!)

Cozy little consignment store organized over two levels and through colour palettes. There are some accessories, shoes and denim sorted in designated sections, as well.

The fact that they donate unpurchased clothes to women in need is phenomenal. Only wish my male partner could shop here too—hopefully a mens section opens up soon…

I dropped off a giant bag of quality clothing. A lot with tags still on. It was first time at Clothing Bar Boutique. I thought I’d get a callback when to pickup my rejected items. My bad I guess that I didn’t inquire. I actually thought they would have accepted most items. I called today to see what was in my account. $13. Was told they selected 7 items total. In that bag was Garage, AE, Lululemon.some with tags still on. I find it incredibly suspicious that those items were rejected. $13. I am shocked as I write this review. WOW. What a waste of time. Not worth it. Would have rather chosen my own donation site.if that’s where my items went. Thanks Katie - I have used other consignment stores before with great success. Sketchy. **Update: it took months to earn $13 from a giant bag of barely worn clothes, lots with tags on them. And a few days after posting this review I receive etransfer for $18.96 and a note that my account is closed. My other items must have magically sold. Not sketchy at all. Thieves essentially. Geeez. Sad thing is this bag was my daughter’s clothing. If I had known I would have helped her sell most items on Marketplace. I’ve sold my own clothes at another store (a fraction of the amount clothing taken in) and received more that 4 times the amount back.

I find it hilarious that at the same time I posted my negative review, a slew of positive reviews about the consignment process has been posted haha “hey friends, can you do damage control - thanks! ”
If you look at when the previous reviews were make it was 2-3 months ago.mine goes & woah half a dozen go up right after mine stating the exact opposite.

I love this consignment store. They are really active on social media and I have purchased a couple of gems over Instagram for in store pickup. They are really transparent with their consigning rules and I love that they post what types of things they’re currently looking for so that you know what to consign.

This place is run by the best people. Selection is always good but service really is their shining moment. Never had a bad experience or purchase!

Update: Still great people and great stock. Now with candles and scrunchies ️

I love this shop; they’re really great at what they do here. Staff are helpful and friendly. I consign with them and buy great finds too. A coworker recommended it to me several years ago and I’m so glad she did

As a shopper I love the selection of items that they bring in. I'm not one to be picky about brands and I am happy that they have such a large selection from Joe Fresh to high end! I always find what I need here (and lots that I don't need but can't say no to haha!) All of the gals who work there are so friendly and make it such a welcoming environment to be in. As someone who is always budget conscious while shopping - the Cave in the basement is a god send. They truly do have the best deals here!

As a consigner my experience is always top notch! It is so easy to drop off a bag (and they are super clear with their drop off and labelling instructions too which I so appreciate!) I love that I can just keep my funds in my account and shop with the funds from any of my sold items. My little stash of clothing bar bucks! I also really appreciate that they donate the items they don't take on your behalf - saves me a trip!

This store is in our neighborhood so I can't walk by without going in. These ladies are helping the environment, saving you $$, and making sure you look great.

In the last few years I have bought nearly all my clothes from here. I have consigned with them as well and the process is clear and easy! It's always exciting to have a balance to shop with and I appreciate that they donate anything that they can't sell.

Even while pregnant the ladies were the best at helping me find maternity friendly styles that I can still wear now. The shop is dog friendly so I often shop with my dog (Sydney) and the ladies there are always so sweet with her and give her treats.

Disgusted, heartbroken. That's how I felt when I saw the state of my returned clothing. Was actually reduced to tears when I opened the bag. The staff barely made effort to refold anything, in fact some items were balled up and shoved in. This was the first time I have ever tried consigning my clothing (which they knew) ; I will say they left a strong first impression. I will never set foot in this store again, and definitely wouldn't recommend it. To anyone.

My new favourite clothing store! The curation is impeccable, with pieces to suit every style. The prices are much more reasonable than any consignment store I've been to. The staff were so friendly and helpful, my friend and I agreed it'll be the only place we shop from now on! Check their instagram too for online sales.

Fantastic. Down below the basement has 50% off all the time. I believe, I'm sure that's what the lady told me. If you spend 100 dollars you get 5 dollars off. The staff were very helpful.one thing I didn't like was the dressing rooms are only curtains. Not a fan of that. I like privacy when changing. Everything thing was great.

The staff were very friendly and it was a pretty popular place to be. I picked up a super cute outfit and I love it very much for a great price. The selection is awesome too. When I was at the checkout out I noticed there was a black stain on my index finger and thumb and as I talking to one of the staff they mentioned it as from there hangers and that happens sometimes. No worries it happens. I was wearing a light colored dress and it actually transferred the black dye to the dress from when I rested my hand on my thigh and hip. So now I'm working to try and get the stain out.: (just a friendly warning be mindful of your hands if you are sifting through the hangers. Don't be like me.

Such a lovely spot and great selection of clothing. A friend told me about it even though I drive by 5 times a day. I just love it that my teenager chooses to shop consignment and this store will now be on her go-to list.

I love this consignment store! There’s always a good selection of different styles, the staff are friendly and helpful as well. Katie (the owner) makes sure to go through your items in a timely fashion and puts them on the floor quickly! It’s a treat to come in and see how much credit you have. A true calgary Gem.

The Clothing Bar is my favourite consignment store in the city! The clothes are cute, reasonably priced and always good quality. Their online store is great too for either local pick up or delivery.

I bought a watch from them today but didn't notice till I got home that the crown (used to adjust the hands) is missing. Sadly there are no returns. That said, I'd still give this place 5 stars for their good selection, good music, and friendly and helpful staff.

Shopping here has always been a pleasant experience, I have so many rad outfits from here. The prices are fair, the sales are good, and the staff are very friendly. This is also one of the few clothing businesses that myself and my transgender partner feel actively welcomed and comfortable in.

I can't put into words how many good things I have to say about The Clothing Bar - by FAR my favourite place to shop consignment in Calgary! The staff is always incredibly friendly and helpful, the selection is AMAZING, and the prices are beyond reasonable. They have adapted so gracefully to COVID-19, and consistently are coming up with ways to give back to the community around them. I mean, they not only allow but ENCOURAGE you to bring your doggos shopping with you! Will continue telling everyone I know about this place for sure!

THE best consignment shop in Calgary. Katie and her team put a ton of effort into making their consignors and shoppers (I am both) feel valued. I have found some of my all-time fave wardrobe pieces here And the do a TON of amazing work in the local community to support disadvantaged and minority groups thrive. AMAZING people, amazing shop!

My favourite consignment store to date! I discovered them through instagram a while back and after seeing they are only 2 blocks away from my neighbourhood I was hooked! The clothing selections are amazing, staff are so friendly, and best of all are the deals you get. There hasnt been a time that I walked out empty handed. A huge bonus that they carry local artist products for sale (jewelry, candles, cards, etc). With compliments to my outfits (courtesy of the clothing bar) I'm marketing this place to my friends and family to come visit.
