This is the worst place to eat. My chicken was over cooked and dry, and had a over used oil taste. Fries had same bad flavor. Guess still looking for a good chicken restaurant KFC use to be it until they changed spices

Last update: 5 star to 1 star. Decided to try their TooGoodToGo as my last couple experiences of their chicken were a miss. The surprise bag leftovers were all side dishes and had no chicken at all. Their container sizes are one size down and not standard size. The large (but actually medium size) salads are overpriced at $9.95. Called the shop to inquire and they did not care.
They sell expired items on TooGoodToGo which is not proper practice even from TooGoodToGo’s minimum standards. I expected ethical practice from a food business. I will not be back and do not recommend anymore.

Update: went the last few times and sometimes the chicken is over salted and the batter is inconsistent. They have a great deal for cold chicken (leftover from the night before 4 pieces for $11) which you can either put back in the oven before eating or eat it cold!

My favourite fried chicken joint! Southern fried chicken. They are really good at their sides (rotisserie potatoes and buttermilk biscuit) and malted milkshakes as well. The gravy is a must addition if you like a lot of flavour. The staff working there is great. I was overcharged once and they quickly fixed it for me. A bit pricier but worth it once in awhile!

For a fast food place the atmosphere and service are great. The fried chicken was also very good, crispy and juicy, however I feel that the coating lacked some flavour and would have liked a bit more spice.

I really loved my chicken burger my kids had the fancy version and said it was very good I wasn't fond of the fries just blah nothing great about them

This has been on my must visit list for so long, but for some reason today was the first time we ever stopped to give it a shot. It was 100% great; even better than I had hoped for. The staff was wonderful, the food was amazing (how the heck is it so… all the things… at once). Free parking, enough napkins, huge piece of crispy, hot chicken; I couldn’t have asked for more.

These fowl malefactors charged me over 30 bucks for a 4 peice meal. I was unaware of prices when placing my order. These chicken charlatans had an extremely attractive girl up front which made it too embarrassing for me to refuse their high priced bird. I think they knew it was a fat guy ripe for the picking on the phone by the weeze in my breating and anticipation in my speech apon promise of fried chicken. These bird pimps have a decent gravy, unfortunately a they possess a proclivity for snake oiling fat guys.

We tried the Fried Chicken, potato’s and coleslaw. The chicken wasn’t too greasy, the baby potatoes were buttery and perfectly boiled and the coleslaw was good but such a small portion. The price was high for one piece of chicken, potatoes and a small portion of coleslaw and two pop’s $32.06 with tip! The seating is outside and on 14th street so very loud. Parking is an issue as with most businesses in the belt line. Overall I gave this business a 3 star because of cost, quantity and location.

Overpriced. I went in and got a drumstick and thighs. Chicken tasted absolutely disgusting. I do not recommend. Overall 1/10.

I went into cluck n cleaver after hearing about there new sandwich, the sando. I usually order through skip but today I figured id go in. I had my 2 kids with me, and we were hoping to sit out on the patio and enjoy the sun. While waiting in line there was very explicit 'heavy rock' playing was very questionable. During the long wait, there was a employee constantly reminding everyone it is pride month, true! Although I must say the employees look very unhygienic. All the colorful hair, piercings were just unprofessional in my opinion. Many of the employees looked like they had just rolled out of bed and came in. Very unprofessional and made me lose my appetite. The food is great but I don't think i'll be coming back anymore.

Honestly the best chicken I've ever had. Can't wait to come back, unless I cook it myself I'll wait!

What a delightful find! Francine and her team served up the most tastiest chicken I have yet to eat, and even let us sample a new sandwich which may be the best chicken sandwich I have ever had. Friendly staff, great service with fresh, tasty food to go with it, we already can't wait to come back next time we're in Calgary!

I finally got here to eat a Mother Clucker, and it was awesome! I ordered mine with a light coating of hot and no slaw. It was juicy with a lot of flavor, I think I will order a little more blue cheese mayo next time. I sat outside and ate my meal in smokey Canadian air.

Cluck N Cleaver delivery made Mother's Day lunch easy and enjoyable.

Ok but $30 for 2 chicken sandwiches- one of which strangely had a large piece of very greasy fried skin shoved in and small fries seems a little high.

Hi Nicole, hope all is well Came from BC to visit my sister and had to check out this place because I'm a big fan of all the fun you have on the food network! Did not disappoint, great service, friendly staff and the chicken was 5-star worthy! Nice and moist, tender and freshly made. The smell when we went in was awesome, flavors were great, nice and crunchy. It's been a long time since I've had decent gravy like that. Even the almond cookie was moist and delicious! Picked up some honey mustard sauce to take home back to BC. Thanks you!

Used to come here whenever I came to Calgary. It was my FAVORITE (5 star review before). I would recommend the mother clucker to everyone. After my latest experience it seemed like everything was different. It used to have a nice soft brioche bun and this time it was a cold, dry-grocery store bun that crumbled when you grabbed it. The chicken was great as always but the the to die for blue cheese sauce was minimal and tasteless. I was always happy to pay the relatively expensive price for what I used to tell people "the best spicy chicken burger EVER" but definitely not worth it anymore. Popeye's is on par with the last visit for half the price.

Fried chicken so good, you’d do things… like THINGS… In all seriousness genuinely super well seasoned and so crispy. Mother clucker sando is way too good.

This is the best little chicken joint in the city. Chef Nicole perfected this recipe long before opening. I used to live close, now I make special trips because other chicken places don't give a cluck!

I really really wanted to like this place - especially since I’m a Chef and a Top Chef fan but I was soooo disappointed.

It took forever to pick up the food and we ended up having to park across the street to collect it.

We took it home about 5 minutes away and when we opened and started to eat the chicken was dry, the breading was soft and the salad was old and inedible

There are much better places to eat for chicken/sandwiches and salads.

Don’t bother and go somewhere else

Had very high expectations going in because of Top Chef. I was very disappointed by the taste. The house made sour cream and onion seasoning is just an overwhelming hit of dill, which makes sense since it's covered in it.

Being a fan of Top Chef (and Nicole), I'm surprised that the chicken here was quite mediocre. The chicken bites were definitely crispy and stayed that way very long but the flavor is completely absent. It smelled so good but it really didn't deliver. The sour cream nuggets blew my palate out. Disappointing experience. The prices are quite a lot higher compared to other fried chicken spots as well.
