I went shopping there found one young man that was very rude asked to talk to manager about him and the supervisor came and heard the young man be disrespectful to me and the other customers that where there and told us we had to leave which we thought was so on professional for them to do that. Where I believe the young man should of had a talking to and apologized. Myself and others will not return there for shopping till they realize that they can’t treat people like that. I won’t recommend this store to anyone till they can make different choices and treat there costumer’s better and get better staff to work there. I felt like they were judging me for something I didn’t do.
I wish they would start cleaning up the self checkout stations. (see photos) The large majority of the store is very clean. Also, I wish they would enforce the mandatory mask rule for customers that they have posted. (For the safety of the staff and customers.)
First Tuesday of the month is a great day to get your extra stuff for the month with the extra discount being applied. Just got a ton of meat and was able to pay with our bottle money!
Meat department goes above and beyond by custom cutting our meat and even double wrapping it in freezer ready amounts at no extra cost with friendly & helpful service.
Oh man what a gem! Never been here before and it was in the middle of no where and such a cute town! Shocked it had everything! And the staff amazing! I didn't have a membership and I could still buy plus the guy asked if he could take my bags to my car for me how cute is that! Reminded me of home back east lovely store!
Shopping at the co-op this morning was pleasant, for a change the shelves were well stocked and the produce was fresh and nicely arranged. The young man in the produce department was friendly and helpful. The young man that packed my groceries was also smiling and appeared to enjoy his job.v
Such a nice big store clean preys and newer but the cost of food is leading ghe way here at coop a walk through I thought I should go elsewhere and I felt bad buying local has a premium and it shouldn't considering when alot can be a local solution in season but free will compells us to have a choice and a voice!
Bad manager, bad customer service, not local management. Disappointing. The only point of a Co-op is to be local and support local. But the new management is only about cutting costs and quality. They’ve lost the business of myself and our whole family
Store and staff very friendly was disappointed that 2 staff picking orders had no masks and cart return man had mask on chin med reasons for 2 l was told face shields 3 customers came in no masks what is what dont understand that some are exempt emloyees should be out of public not much of an example
Sales items out of stock most of the time. Prices are excessively high to offset negligible dividends. 20% of something = margin. 40% of nothing, still equals ZERO.
Very disappointed that Caitlin Clarke was laid off. Very professional pharmacist that I rely on if I have questions about my prescriptions. She also lives and participates in our community. Co-op seems to have problems in their Human Resources/Administration department. This is not the first time things that have happened are very questionable.
It's OK. Not as good as when they had the old store. Consistently out of some items and have dropped carrying some items that we liked. Also you need to watch the best before dates carefully when you pick up items, but the store is OK for some stuff.
Great community grocery store, however had a few incidents with a particular clerk that carry your groceries out, extremely rude and condescending. Haven't seen him for a while but was not very welcoming considering we are new to the area and have never shipped coop before.
Absolutely love this grocery store. Nice, new and very clean. There is always some deals to be had, prices are reasonable. Staff is friendly, and help carry the groceries to your vehicle. Kids cart is fun for the kids
Just left there (5pm) and as usual.majority of sale items (fruit & veg, pantry items, etc.) were not stocked on the shelves. By the way, have you noticed that they recently stopped asking "Did you find everything you wee looking for? ".
Bakery, the "fresh" multigrain Portuguese rolls were still 1/2 frozen. They just built a huge new bakery. Why are they putting out frozen baking? Why in the world did the majority of commercial bread change to be the sawdust tasting brand of Wonder bread? Makes you "wonder" about corporate.
As usual, the shopping cart fiasco.they rarely, if not ever, put your cart away for you anymore.
Prices have gone through the roof. Says it all.
Hire more people and start firing the slackers. I don't know how many times I see the same employees time after time just gabbing with each other in the aisles. Save it for your break or when it's not busy. Does management not have a spine to fire? I don't know how many times I've been there after work and they call all hands to the front. This even means the person with refrigerated items drops everything, leaves a pallet of items out in the warm and goes to help. No wonder the expiry dates on dairy items is shortened.
Expiry dates. CHECK THE EXPIRY DATES OF EVERYTHING! This was a big problem before the new store and now it's still the same or worse of problem. Rotate your stock! When stocking, remove the existing product and review the dates. Put new stock on shelf, the put back the original stock if it is not expired. It's not hard!
Parking lot is still a disaster! They just finished packing the base for fresh pavement and I now see a grader chewing it up again. Did someone on the board/management get kick backs to get the contract for all the construction? Is it a relative of someone's? This is the slowest construction I've ever seen and it's not even government related.
You can put lipstick on a pig.
Co-op is no longer a real cooperative, it's just a mindless corporation.
