This has got to be the worst customer service experience I have ever had. Service department NEVER answers the phone, you have to call multiple times to avoid the answering machine, and even when a message is left no one calls back. I finally had to go in person to arrange service for my mother’s stairlift, paid 150.00 in advance only to have the technician late for the appointment with no phone call. I understand that the techs can be delayed, but how about a call to say something so we don’t sit here all day worrying they won’t show up? This is an important piece of mobility equipment, and once the ink dries on the sales slip no one cares.
I left 24 voice messages and not one was acknowledged.
Absolutely atrocious and unacceptable.

The one who helped me said to come back the next day since I have to wear shorts to be able to fit in the knee support that I was needing. They had 2 vacant fitting rooms though and it was 5: 38 pm. I don’t think I would need 1 hour or half an hour to find the right size for my knee.

They do not answer the phone in the service department and they do not return calls when you leave a message. They do not guarantee their batteries even when they die after 2 months. They will charge you a $50 labor charge to take a charger off the shelf to sell it to you for overly exaggerated prices when you don't actually need it anyway. Very poor service.

Utterly disgusted by the treatment given by a female staff member at this store. Two of my family members were there recently to look for a chair that would best support the physical needs of one as an ALS sufferer. They expressed the specific requirements for proper neck support to prevent slumping of the head because of their neck weakness, and asked if one specific chair they found as a potential winner was in stock. The staff member's unenthusiastic response to this request was that she "could" check the inventory, but she would have to make sure that it was the proper fit before proceeding, insisting that she had to set them up with some special custom chair. My family explained again what their needs were, to which she responded with irritation, "You don't need to tell me this, I know! "
She very clearly did NOT "know", nor was she willing to listen or give an ounce of patience, compassion or understanding. They explained for a 3rd time what their needs were, which she kept trying to counter by trying to upsell some custom chair with things they didn't need, argumentatively stating all the consequences of not ordering the "proper chair" and costs of potentially returning and restocking it. Meanwhile, she never ONCE checked whether the initial chair they inquired about was in stock. When my family attempted to explain what their needs were again, she told them "I don't need deal with you. I don't have to help you. You figure it out! " and walked away.
This is point blank the worst service I have ever heard of. When a person is in need of assistance, let alone in such a vulnerable state for serious health reasons, this is the complete opposite behavior you would expect and it is frankly disgusting.
Being in said tired and vulnerable state, plus being absolutely shocked by her attitude and rudeness, my family had no energy to argue and they simply left angry and defeated. This is the last place that a resentful, unempathetic, impatient, ignorant, rude and arrogant person should work.
Based on other reviews here, it looks like this is a consistent issue and clearly, nothing is being done about it. Get it together, Home Health. You are only making the lives of people who need the most support worse.

Worst customer service I've ever had took my 82 year old dad to get a new walker we waiting 30 mins for Any help there was 5 ladies behind the desk when my dad asked for help they sternly told him you have to wait. The whole experience was rude and for how much we spend on medical stuff won't be back.

This is not a good company to deal with! Bad experienced! Stair lift always broken and they will charge you to fixed it. They said it’s a business! Yes because they already know what the problem is but they didnt fixed it totally so that you will call them again for service and guess what they will charged you! Zero star for me. I hope it wont happen to them when they get old that they will be needing a lift too and charge them when it’s broken! God Bless you all who doing everything for BUSINESS!

I have been a customer for many many years needing the Ostomy Department. After all these years, I don't remember anyone actually picking up the phone and taking my phone call for an order. I have to leave a voicemail about the order every single time. I don't know if the message was ever received unless they call me with questions. Super frustrating. I wish they would make an online system where I can just order my supplies. Customer service is not their strong suit. I have found some nice people, but the overall experience is never good. And when you go in to make an order, you can be waiting quite a while. I don't mind waiting but there is no one behind the desks half the time. Please make an online system CO-OP.

They should have zero stars. I purchased some heel insert for my shoes. There was a poor selection but i did purchase a pair. After returning home checked amazon much better selection for better price. Never opened the package and when i tried to return they said anything that touched the body can not be returned. Package never opened. Hmmm…. Just about anything you would buy there would touch the body. Stay away from this business

Went in today to get a foam roller and some resistance straps for my calcific tendonitis. The person that helped me was a short long dark haired woman that was not helpful at all. They had nothing in stock and so I asked if there was anywhere else she responded with "I dont know I work here" So then I refrased my question and asked if there were other locations and she stated yes but we are head office and they get the stuff from here. Very very rude. I will continue to not shop here and go to Walmart at least there you know the staff wont help.

Went here for the first time and service was rude. Also, their upstairs area isn’t marked as for staff only, so we accidently went up there and a woman yelled at us, “excuse me can I help you! ” Maybe if you had clear signage, people would know that upstairs floor was closed!

The service overall was really not friendly.

Health care for the rich only! We have $3000 but noceedit card so cannot get the supplies the hospital said my husband needs to recover from surgery. The rentals lady was also super rude that i didnt know exactly what walker i wanted. Ive never done yhis before.

Absolutely the most rude and terrible customer service I have ever received. So many assumptions were made about me, I never even got a chance to explain why I was there or what I needed. I felt no need to reply even after I was spoken to like I was. My wife just said we could elsewhere and we did. Went dow the street to Wellwise, was helped with a smile and ordered what I needed.

Needed a transport wheelchair for Stampede. Called for availability on July 8th.told there was a new transport wheelchair available. Went and picked it up. Very fast and efficient. Just returned on July 19th. Charged for the minimum of 2 weeks for a total of $25. So worth it. Excellent equipment! Great service too.

If I could give less than 1 star I would. I will never, ever go to Co-op Home Health Care again. The service was unbelievably poor. They asked for payment in advance and then we had trouble with the delivery and installation of the products we ordered. The wrong product was originally delivered and it took months to get things straightened out. We called and left messages with no reply. The only good thing we can say is that the installers were excellent. We originally went with Co-op because we are members and expected good service and a good product. Don't make this mistake.

The store is huge and hard to navigate. There’s tons of people working there, but no one willing to help or answer questions. I feel really bad for elderly people who have to go in there looking for supplies if they’re being treated the way I was while looking for stuff for my father. I won’t be back.

Don't bother buying Vicair products. They don't stand behind them. I needed nylon replacements for one of their cushions to prevent further pressure sores. It was for a cushion I got last year. An easy six dollar fix and they wouldn't do it. Vicair gets one star.

Over a month of the great disappearing act, no walker no wheelchair, no communication, a very uncaring business. Did call and was told someone would call me back regarding the issue, and.nothing 2 days later.you would think someone with cancer or any other disability would be treated with a bit more dignity

They have a couple helpful staff I don’t even call in anymore because they barely answer the phone ‘s. I email one of the osteomyelitis supply guys Dan and he’s on it. If I had a better place to get supplies I’d switch stores for sure.

Website is horrible to navigate, poor reflection of what is available in store.

Tried to call the location, they have one of those automated machines that has a 20 option menu, none of which an actual human being has answered after numerous attempts.

Dad has not been comfortable sitting on his wheelchair the last year. Today, I took him for his wheelchair fitting appointment at Co-op Health. Mike along with the OT were taking measurement and helping him find products that will make him more comfortable. I was amazed at the professionalism and expertise that brought forth. After trying numerous products, we were fitted with the best results I have ever seen. Dad's posture was corrected almost instantly. Mike even helped me carry the boxes to my car. Thank you Mike for being our everyday hero!

Only go here as a last resort. It’s as though you’re an inconvenience to the ‘sales’ staff. I was looking for a lift chair for my infirm father, but couldn’t get any real answers. Delivery time: next week or 16 weeks ‘depending’. Can we see what’s in your inventory online to we don’t make a trip for nothing? No. Is there a sizing chart? No. Is there a simple breakdown with options and prices I could take? No. It felt like I was being pranked.

Went in for a scooter for my grandma (she was so excited to get one!) service was horrible. Person who handled "our kind of claims" wasn't there so they weren't too excited for our business. We were told this one scooter didn't have a suspension etc. It was boring and we felt unwanted and uninvited to shop.

We went to Amin and Zee at Calmedi! Even though Amin was on holidays he helped us. They said the scooter we wanted was from Vancouver so easy to get parts and that it had dual suspension and they gave us a $400 discount! Top Of The Line! Imagine all that! It was exciting to work with them! They ordered her scooter and they're delivering it right to her door!

Last November I was in Co-Op to pick up my new TiLite chair. But on the 5th I took my older TiLite in to get New Tires and Tubes.
Today March 25th I got a flat tire. First time in sixteen years. I took the tube out of the tire, put some air into it and found the hole.
I did not run over anything, I did not put a hole in it. But after careful examination I found that this NEW inner tube I paid for was NOT NEW.
As you can see by the photo it has a patch on it and the patch was stretching and finally created a hole.

If the store was not so far away I would go in there and insist on my money back for the tube and my time to replace it with a good inner tube I had purchased from Motion Specialty years ago.

Oh and my new chair was never fitted properly and is so tippy I have gone backwards on my head and forward out of the chair.

Terrible service, went in for a walker for mom who just had a stroke and a shower chair. Left with nothing, staff was rude and unhelpful, supervisor was no better. The only person there with any customer service skills was An at the rental desk!

I literally called this place and asked a simple question and the sales individual (which I will not name) was rude and negative. Not a great way to get new customers or keep existing ones.

Staff openly lying and inventing excuses, first I was told they're short of staff and when nobody showed up for installation the excuse was missing material. I made a mistake paying in full before installation and thinking I am dealing with reputable company.

We went there today for burn supplies for our young daughter. I really had little idea as to what I was doing, the ladies that helped us were so incredibly kind and helpful. Thank you so much for helping us and making my incredibly stressed out self more comfortable with burn care. They helped get us everything we needed, I honestly feel like a weight has been lifted off of my chest. From one stressed mum, I say thank you ten times over.

Wonderful staff, and a great range of products for different budgets. Used their rental service in the past for my father's palliative care, and was impressed with how helpful and patient everyone was.

More recently I've been in for help with my grandmother's tub lift, and Cory took the time to make sure we had what we needed and understood how it worked.

Biggest selection of medical equipment in town! Great service! Went in to buy a bolster recommended by my massage therapist and would have left with a much less effective one if it weren't for the lady at the front desk. Love this place!

Went in with a family member to buy a walker.selection was very good, picked an Evo Trillium with stepper.stepper is a curb climbing aid. Inventory level is also a bonus.many staff and always helping clients.much more choice than the outdated Wellwise location, nearby.dropped stars because prices are steep.

ASK FOR HANI TO HELP YOU - HE IS EXCELLENT! HIS EXAMPLE OF KNOWLEDGE AND CUSTOMER CARE IS GREAT for wheel chairs and lift chairs.

Our experience was vague during these challenging days for seniors.

A computer file data transfers challenge from old to new computer system that only one person could retrieve the old data we needed and we were lucky to have that person in the store during our visit.

Each staff member appeared to know their zone of work. We had to navigate the sales process ourselves. Finally past to the one qualified staff member that understood customer service, sales process and the product lines for our wheel chair and lift chair needs.

Every customer is an individual with individual needs. Seniors have limited time, physical stamina and patience for incompetence. There is little relationship building in the customer service process here. It all came from our side.until we found Hani.

This place is mired in process for government and vague at retail customer skills.

High pricing: We paid $2,550 for a replacement chair that we bought 8 years ago same place and model for $1,600.

Shopping around may solve for listening ability and establishing customer need in the sales process as an alternative to this shop.

Unfortunately the senior customer is held captive in these experience as their logistics are not always an option to shop around before buying.

It took some time to draw out the good government AADL equipment that was in the back room for that proccess even though you could purchase it as a retail customer.

The Silver Tide is arriving, customer service and sales process training is key.

Why it took 30 minutes to ring up a sale once we said yes to the purchase we will never know.

Unhelpful staff, terrible policies, overpriced. Better off going elsewhere. How will you know if a knee brace is going to work on F you can't test it? They start at $140. Next door was $30.

Came into this store looking for a knee brace to support a recent knee injury and was about to choose a brace I thought was good. A staff member, Erin, came along and asked what my issue was and after I explained she suggested a different one for various reasons. She strapped it on my knee and explained why it was a better option and how it will help. She was right. Not only was it a better option but it was better priced. Thank you Erin, you literally made my life just a little bit better.

The staff here are absolutely amazing. The lady who helped me went above and beyond with trying to find the product I was looking for. I wish I would’ve gotten her name because she deserves major recognition for how great of a job she’s doing. The other staff that helped me were super friendly, incredibly sweet and all around represented the business incredibly well. I can’t say thank you enough to everyone who was working today! You guys rock!

We went into this store with high hopes of receiving advice and help in finding a walker wheelchair.combination. They had one in the doorway but it was too big. I asked if they could order me the smaller one and she said "NO". We asked someone else and she looked on the website where they get their supplies and told me that the one I was interested in was for people with paralysis. This was absolute rubbish! We went across the road to Shoppers Health care in MacLeod Mall, they were very helpful and had the one I wanted in stock. They even price matched with one I had seen on line in Edmonton. The assistants at Calgary Co op need to be reprimanded for giving false information to seniors who are vulnerable. Not all seniors are able to check things on line and are at the mercy of these employees. I will never go near that store again and I am surprised at the Co op for such awful service.

I was always very pleased with the service, the people who used to work there, were very helpful and knowledgeable in the past. But today I was treated very rudely. I came to get some advice for knee brace, at beginning, the associate was ignoring me, and started to give advice someone, who came after me, so when I pointed that to her, she didn’t even apologized, and called somebody else, the other associate was even worse, very rude, and not helpful at all. I couldn’t believe, that I was in the same store, where I would always get very good service. New staff and new manners.

I am disappointed by the customer service at this store. I walked in and placed an order. Two weeks passed by and no one cared to update me on what was going on. I had to call many times to get an update. The last time I called, I was told that although the order was logged into the system, she couldn't find the box and the person (Dan) who placed the order was not around. Don't they commmunicate with each other? There was no apology offered. Had I known that this is how they would process my order, I should have ordered instead from Alba Medical in Toronto where they offer free shipping.
